A good downgrade for us

Very good. I am happy we changed from Global shop solutions

Pros

I like that it is simpler than our last ERP. Last year we downgraded our CRM from salesforce and saved so much time and money. This appears to be the same. We will save a lot because of the overhead managing a mid market ERP system. I is also so fast compared to our old system. Working in the browser in the cloud is great! We have been very happy with the QBO integration

Cons

I wish there was a shipstation integration and an active campaign integration. I wish the zapier integration included customer record transfer. I wish the woocommerce integration was a little deeper. Primarily I wish the description synced. We may use a third party PIM database.

Alternatives Considered

The Juice is Worth the Squeeze

As my company grew, the previous IMS we were using was clearly not fitting our needs and I began a 3 month search of mid to high level IMS platforms. I think I demoed almost ten platforms. They all had their strengths and weaknesses. inFlow provided a robust and scalable platform that suited my needs and covered those for further company expansion.

Pros

Hands down, my favorite part of inFlow has been the customer service from their team. From onboarding all the way to small questions later down the road, they have been nothing short of exemplary. My business has a fairly complex special case use for inventory management and they helped me find creative solutions.

Cons

To be fair, this is a typical issue when it comes to any third party integrations or API, but the crosstalk between inFlow and QBO could be better. The linking to charts of accounts, etc could be improved.

Reasons for Choosing inFlow Inventory

As my company expanded, needs changed for our inventory management and tracking. Current RMS was not fitting our needs and inFlow became our choice going forward.

Inflow Review

Inflow offers a solid and reliable inventory management solution with a good balance of features and ease of use. For my small business it works incredibly well. I will recommend this program to any of my friends who are looking for a switch or are setting up new companies.

Pros

I found the program to be user friendly. I have multiple ways of tracking my inventory. I like that it is cloud based and I am not stuck to one computer to use the program. And the customer support has been quick to assist me when I have had questions.

Cons

I did not like that the one feature I do not have access to has an additional charge. I want to be able to search based on serial number but I do not want additional charges to my account.

Reasons for Choosing inFlow Inventory

I switched from Quickbooks to Inflow as i found quick books to be very limiting in its functionality. It was getting increasingly harder to get the system to work in the manner I wanted/ needed it to work.

Reasons for Switching to inFlow Inventory

The customer service received during the free trial made it an easy decision.

An inventory system for those that do not want to spend unnecessary time doing inventory

Amazing in every single way. A clear software that allows you to work from everywhere and keep an eye on inventory.

Pros

Everything! this is a system that takes way all unnecessary embellishing things and is clear, and organized and to the point.

Cons

the only thing I would like to see is that it syncs to my crm. but to be honest, i have learned how to work around that.

Reasons for Choosing inFlow Inventory

It was way too expensive and too complicate for no reason.

Decent Inventory Cloud management at a fraction of the cost of the competitors

Much better than anything else we trialled, the interface is good and their help team responsive.
Overall very pleased with it

Pros

Pictorial easy to use cloud interface, app which allows scanning inventory in and out.
Easy to manufacture items and sub components of items

Cons

Still working a few bugs out of the system, but what software isn't. There is some rather crucial information missing on stock adjustments (like who did them), which makes following up a pain for me at the moment - I hope they are going to add this data field in the future. I would also like to be able to make explanations for stock movement mandatory

Reasons for Choosing inFlow Inventory

MRPeasy was too difficult for my users to understand, and was not user friendly or easy. Sortly was pretty and cheaper, however it doesn't have manufacturing or real inventory control processes

Reasons for Switching to inFlow Inventory

We manufacture items and make products with sub components, inflow was by far the easiest and most user friendly package for this. I was also impressed by their ability to support a young business. We had Inflow fully up and running in one with with 3 locations and thousands of lines of stock. People can start using it with confidence with very little training thanks to its easy and logical interface.

InFlow makes my life easier!

Super smooth, and very amazing for counting inventory!

Pros

Easy to use. Keeps everything organized. And you can customize it further if needed. We use sublocation as a place to name batches, and it's very useful.

Cons

It cannot use a product to create another product in the work orders. We normally have to use the same product to create more of this by creating a sort of circular reference, but this is not allowed.

Pros

I really like that it is all in one. I dont need different programs to keep track of inventory, customers, and invoices.

Cons

need an easy way to reserve product put on hold

I really like the site and customer service is super fantastic!

Pros

Keeping track of products, and who order or putting remarks were things went.

Cons

I would like to have a way to reserve products for a sale that we are waiting for customers payment to clear without totally taking it out of inventory, but it shows our website that product is not there at that time, so we do not take an order for product that we are holding for a customer. We do not have your full package with the store because we have a website. I would just like to have a simple way to put product on reserve / hold.

Great Software

Overall, it's one of the better inventory systems I've used.

Pros

It's very easy to use! When I first started at the company I work at, no one really knew how to use it. A few months after I started and watching a lot of the helpful YouTube videos, I had inFlow up and running and created a Showroom for employees to use to request items they need at their site.

Cons

I wish we could change an item from stocked to non-stocked without having to create a whole new part.

Response from Archon Systems

Glad to hear you're finding our YouTube videos helpful, John!

In case it helps: you could export product details, change the ProductName and ItemType, and re-import the file. This would help you create a new non-stocked version of that product, without having to copy all of the descriptions or other details. You could then deactivate the stocked product.

A solid product even though it wasn't for us

I really liked inFlow personally, and I would recommend it to any friend or colleague looking for an inventory/invoicing software. I had a good time talking to every team member that I spoke to, which I can certainly say is not the case for every software team that I spoke to!

Pros

I really liked the overall layout and looks of inFlow. The design is clean and makes it fairly easy to find what you're looking for. Although it took me a little bit to figure out, I did like the way that parts were able to be "canned" into a finished good. This made overall organization of the inventory easy. I also liked the variety and customization of the labels generated with inFlow. It could fit anyone's needs in that arena. I also appreciated the helpfulness of the person who demo'd the product to me. I can only imagine how helpful the other support members are.

Cons

My bosses really prefer a very very detailed invoice, and they had a difficult time making that happen. They felt like it wasn't easy to make the estimates as similar to our old system as they would've liked which is ultimately the reason we are continuing our software search in another direction.

the one that does it all

Now that we have it working and implemented, it is so much more fun to work with. there is an overview for al you can think of...... all reports you want, but also clear and up to date data

Pros

The programm covers almost everything in 1 program.
from buying, receiving, selling through the web-site build in or external, to delivering and invoicing.
There are a lot of other programs, but only a few with all these functionalyties in 1 programm

Cons

in the beginning we had problems, by picking the goods they forgot to also ship the goods.... in my inventory reports the goods only left after i shipped the orders.
I would love it if there would be a link in the programm to a tutorial page.... if you have questions or doubts...that you can look it up easely.
I think there are to low limits on orders per month and users...the programm will be expensive for us! ( we are not selling, the orders are to deliver what the doctors are in need of..... so no revenue will come out)

Continuesly improved performance with great helpdesk

Overall I'm very positive about Inflow Inventory and so are my colleagues and bookkeeper. We have access from our mobile devices which is great. I also have to mention the help-desk, it is very useful and correct.

Pros

It's a great way to keep track of stock from purchase to sales. And with the Woocommerce integration it has increased its usefulness.

Cons

There is some discrepancy between theoretical purchases and real world, practical situations with suppliers. But this cannot be helped. I would like to see an option where purchases that are in transit with an ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) could be included in stock levels. That way clients visiting the online showroom could see when their required products would be available for delivery from our warehouse.

Made a world of difference for our warehouse team

Very positive overall experience. I wouldn't recommend it for a large corporate entity but we are a small company with thousands of items and it works great.

Pros

Easy data import via CSV
UOM conversions
Multiple Location/Sub-Locations - track specific quantities by specific buildings/shelves
Material pricing tiers
Easily track orders
Mobile App!
Now we know what needs to be ordered for upcoming projects before the project starts depleting our inventory!
Online Storefront!

Cons

The windows app works fine but is a bit sluggish. You don't get that polished/refined feel when using it.
Fragmentation between mobile apps and windows app. Only one item photo can be uploaded/viewed on windows app, while multiple pics can be uploaded/seen on mobile app.
Online storefront a bit confusing because of not having an "Add to cart" button. Simple selecting a quantity puts that quantity in your cart.
Only integrates with Dymo label printers.

Response from Archon Systems

Thanks for this detailed review, Joe! Since our feature set is always improving, I wanted to take a moment to update some points:

For the online storefront (Online Showroom) we now offer an option for private showrooms with carts and even online payment.

And we've recently improved our labels support. We now have a built-in label designer and expanded support for printers (we've tested Zebra, brother, and Dymo thus far).

We're always working to improve performance in inFlow so we hope your experience has been better since you left this review. If you (or anyone else) is experiencing any slowness, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we'll be in touch!

Inflow is easy to use and get started right away!

Inflow has definitely made my work so much more manageable and can really do a lot, especially if workflows and conventions are laid out for users. For a small business/commerce business, it is a great choice.

Pros

Simple to use, covers basic needs for a small company, quick to get started and learn. Customer service is EXCELLENT and they help to figure out ways to get what you need out of the platform. The price point makes it easy to start using and you can add modules as needed for nominal extra cost. There are simple .csv uploads and downloads to help every day with placing a lot of orders or uploading BOMs.

Cons

As a company grows, it can be limiting. The audit trail for changes that are made to PO's, work orders, etc, is pretty basic and limited to a name and date. You have to figure out what changed by comparing versions. No revision control on BOMs, item records, etc. Though there are many note fields that can be used to document these details in a non-regulated environment.

Review from a SMALL company

Good to great. I have no other inventory system to compare with, but feel it is a useful tool.
I have no comment on how expensive it is for a small company as I do not handle accounts. It is just a hunch that for a small company that many not need all of the applications, it is expensive.

Pros

It is comprehensive in terms of data retention of all inputs, with a wide variety of inputs. Re-order levels is good and tracking history and ability to transfer directly to accounting is great.

Cons

The fact that it is not easy to adjust the invoice look and the Excel transfer sheet for evaluation. The format for invoices is not helpful in the that the total amount sometimes the the last digit gets wrapped to the next row. I have to transfer to Excel to make a correction. Annoying. Excel export format the columns all need adjusting to capture the data in the columns. Also very annoying.

My experience has been extremely positive. The tech support team has consistently provided the information I need in a helpful and timely manner.

Pros

I use the generated reports for my quarterly cycle counts to reduce shrinkage and better control of inventory movement. Tracking purchase and sales orders has helped our team minimize material shortages in the field, resulting in a positive customer experience.

Cons

Some reports lack the complete information I need, requiring me to compile multiple reports into a single Excel file to get a comprehensive view.

A Great Utility

Integrates very well with our day to day tracking of stock movement, purchasing and reports.

Pros

The user interface (after becoming familiar) is very easy to navigate and to operate.

Cons

The way email get sent, I'd much rather have the "invoices" or "purchase orders" become a pdf when submitting them to a vendor.

Efficient and User-Friendly Inventory Management Solution

Pros

I've been using Inflow inventory management software for the past two years, and it has significantly streamlined our inventory processes. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for our team to learn and use without extensive training. The real-time tracking feature has improved our inventory accuracy and reduced the time spent on manual stock checks.

One of the standout features is the comprehensive reporting tools, which provide valuable insights into our inventory trends and help us make informed decisions. The ability to integrate with other systems has further enhanced our operational efficiency.

Customer support has been excellent, with prompt responses and helpful solutions whenever we've had questions. Overall, Inflow has become an indispensable tool for our business, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient inventory management solution.

Cons

The only negative we have found is with the Inflow Cloud App. It would be great if it had more functionality. Inability to add and see attachments on a sales order is not a deal breaker but would be a nice addition for future app updates.

A very happy user

Very happy customer. I have used inFlow for 14 years and have found very few issues or glitches. Any time I have needed support they have been excellent.

Pros

User friendly, fast loading. It offers all the functionality I need without being bogged down with features I don't require. Customer service is excellent and they take feedback on board to improve the software.

Cons

The cost of the cloud vs on premise. I was a very happy user of on premise for 14 years and had no intention to move over to cloud but eventually had no choice.

Try inFlow - you'll be glad you did.

We have fluctuated between 3 and 17 employees since signing on with inFlow. inFlow has met our purchasing, order processing, and inventory management needs in the good times and in the not so good times. We have been able to increase and decrease team members, modify add-ons, and make other administrative adjustments to our profile without any issues. We have received the same prompt and friendly service whether we are at 17 team members or 3 team members.

Pros

Value - Inventory, Order Processing, and Purchasing. All 3 provide bang for the buck.

Import and export features for all modules.

Cons

To me, the custom reporting features are limited.
By exporting csv files and merging information using vlookup, we have been able to satisfy our needs.

All Software is a work in progress

Overall its the best i have found. I used Millenium software called Aatrex and it had one major advantage, I was able to program my own reports using crystal reports. The disadvantage is they have not gone to the cloud or handheld devices.

Pros

The ability to have many types of inventory and pricing in CAD & other currencies.
The pre baked different ways an order can be printed, invoice, confirmation, pick list, box label

Cons

I cannot figure out how to make an inventory report that excludes items with zero inventory on hand.
The software is missing the ability to easily print out a list of available products that i can hand to a customer.
In order to have such a list, I must export to excel and manually remove any items with zero or negative inventory. Its a huge time sink

Alternatives Considered

Odoo

Reasons for Choosing inFlow Inventory

Because i needed something accessible remotely to begin with. once i switched i learned how flexible the software is for inventory management.

Reasons for Switching to inFlow Inventory

Odoo seemed like an octopus, always offering more modules and too many features.

Response from Archon Systems

Hi Todd, thanks for this great, detailed review!
Regarding your report, here are two tips that could help:

1. You could use an Inventory by Location report which can exclude products with zero quantity.
2. If your plan includes inFlow Showroom, you could create a public showroom and share that link with your customers. Showrooms can exclude out-of-stock products, and unlike an emailed or printed report, the showrooms are updated live based on the latest inFlow data.

Hope that helps, and thanks again! ^TW

Inflow is a very good ERP system, but lacks mrp.

Used it for several years. Extensively use the Inventory module. Probably the best customer support I've ever enjoyed.

Pros

Functionality, customer support, cloud-based, reporting, exporting, value

Cons

Not quite mrp, i.e., there is not a time-phased "Make/Buy Report" that materials professionals look for.

Response from Archon Systems

Hi James, thanks for the honest feedback on what we're doing well and what we could improve on.

We've released a few new features for manufacturers in the past year, like a full web manufacturing module with routing and prioritization, and we'll continue to look into making things easier for manufacturers in inFlow.

Thanks for the review!

Pros

We love the ability to easily enter orders and track their progress. The Reporting is amazing and the ability to customize fields is key to our ability to utilize INFLOW in the most efficient way for our Company.

Cons

There are not many cons. One would be the fact that once we import new data, the new pricing does not update on Purchase Orders. That would be super helpful for us.

Alternatives Considered

Reasons for Choosing inFlow Inventory

For PO pricing, this may depend on what kind of import is being done. But just in case it helps: if the PO price is different from the saved vendor price, you should see an icon beside the "Unit price" field to save that PO's price back to the vendor record.

Review from Eastside Exterminators

Overall it has been an awesome experience. I was sold from the beginning. [sensitive content hidden] to get our inventory imported and get our custom fields setup, it was clear that the support was awesome. We have been with inflow since 2018 and I have recommended inflow to some of our sister companies across the country.

Pros

Technical support is quick to respond and communicates clearly. User interface on the desktop version is very clear and easy to use. Showroom access helps efficiency.

Cons

Having to pay for increments of 5 user subscriptions at a time. Meaning that one person needing to be added will cost you adding 5, leaving 4 licenses unused. Showroom needs an "add to cart" button. Currently, you just increase the quantity, which works fine, it just confuses people new to the process until they get the hang of it. It also leads to people adding things to their cart that they did not mean to add.

Response from Archon Systems

Thanks, Louis!
It's great to hear the details of which parts of inFlow you're finding useful, and we've shared the Showroom feedback with our product team.

And you're right that our plans come with a minimum number of users—like 2 or 5. We don't currently offer plans with fewer users than that, but there are options to add one extra user at a time.

The Simplest and Most Efficient Stock Management System available

You can use it without training or tutorials. Great to setup reordering points & quantities; Customer statements, credit notes, returns, Online Catalogue for customers, etc

Simplicity to use. Great customer support. Very comprehensive capabilities.

overall, great! the support is good, the program is straightforward enough for my whole team to use with varying technological ability.

Pros

ease of use, intuitive setup, cloud-based (so no server to worry about). mobile capability.

Cons

the two versions both need to be used (web and app) to get full functionality - I can't do dropships, I can't filter my searches as well, and I can't filter my reporting as well on the web as I can in the app. I still can't get some of the reports that I need and have to run multiple + combine them manually. mobile search and filter doesn't allow to filter to just in stock. I feel that the system is very straight forward and easy to learn all the basic functions for supply ordering and inventory control.

Pros

The customer service that work with Inflow are very attentive and knowledgeable about the system and time to review and come up with solutions to any question we may have to streamline our inventory process.

The cloud version and the app are different and sometimes confusing to switch between the two. I feel there are more features available in the cloud version.
