I love being able to see where we are with productivity, patient attendance, receivables, and where the team is with their documentation and deadlines. It gives me a much better overall picture of what’s happening operationally without having to pull everything separately. I also really like that we can build custom reports based on what we actually need to track. Being able to upload our standardized testing directly into Fusion for assessments is another huge plus for us because it keeps everything together and makes the assessment process much more streamlined. Overall, I really like that there’s so much visibility and flexibility within the system. > > **Cons**: What I like least about Fusion is that I think there are still some areas where additional safeguards and customization would make a big difference for us. For example, when changing payer information, I think there should be more safeguards or warnings in place to prevent changes that could unintentionally affect billing or existing patient information. I also think it would be really helpful to have translation capabilities built into reports, especially when we’re working with families who speak different languages. Another feature I’d love to see is the ability to grey out provider schedules when they’re unavailable or not meant to be scheduled, so there’s a clearer visual distinction between available and unavailable time. These are small things, but they would make the system much more intuitive and help prevent administrative errors. > > Overall, my experience with Fusion has been very positive. At this point, it really is the foundation of our work and a system we rely on every day to keep the clinic running. I appreciate how much visibility it gives me into the different areas of our operations while still giving us the flexibility to customize things around the way our clinic works. I like the reminders for authorizations and reports. Resubmitting claims is significantly easier than other EMRs and I really like the automatic accepted/rejected/denied feature, it is a very big time saver. > > **Cons**: I do not like that you cannot customize the appointment reminder messages, although it looks like this is a pending feature.
