Exploring Azure: Strengths and Challenges in Enterprise Cloud Computing
My overall experience using Azure has been outstanding. with Pros outweighing the cons. My favourite aspect of the product being Scalability and Flexibility.
Pros
I have used Microsoft Azure for several years, and its prowess has always left me impressed. The ease of managing variable workloads successfully and be able to scale resources up or down as necessary, the platform has changed things significantly by being just that; -scalable and flexible. It also supports a hybrid cloud, thus integrates well with our on-premises systems. The compatibility maintains operational consistency.
Azure has a broad array of other services, Such as AI, ML, and analytics, that helps us to innovate and stay ahead in such a competitive market of Banking and Finance. It Integration with Microsoft’s ecosystem such Office 365 and this has significantly boosted our team’s productivity.
The global infrastructure of the platform ensures low latency at all times. Also it helps us meet Compliance, this is because of Microsoft's continuous focus on Security and Regulatory Standards in making Azure a much more trusted choice.
Cons
One thing I dislike about Azure is it's costing complexity. Scalability is readily available and if it is misused, you might end up accruing unexpected costs that go over your enterprise infrastructure budgets.

Cons

Azure requires a steep learning curve but is worth it once you are familiar.
Azure requires a steep learning curve but is worth it once you are familiar. You really can't run a Microsoft user base without it.
Pros
Azure is a necessary component for any enterprise admin managing Microsoft users, licenses, and apps.
Cons
While Azure offers a multitude of insight and ability, it's quite difficult to navigate for unfamiliar users. That combined with the fact that many functions can be performed on other services such as MS365 and SharePoint Admin Center can be quite confusing.

Best of Breed Cloud Service Provider in the Region
It's a world of extended solutions. We have not encountered a case that has no option throughout the Azure. It's a reliable service, we have not experienced any significant downtime throughout the services. Gui is superb fast. Copilot enhancements streamline our management and operations as well as increasing our visibility. Powershell and bash usage is like a Swiss knife, as my team have already deploying operations through the scripts. Templates are straightforward. The Azure marketplace shines in quality, ARM templates are uptodate and detailed steps included. Our devops team love the Azure environment as for the AKS and github usage.
Pros
Dedicated Microsoft Project Team including cloud solutions architects for Azure Projects. Migration from on premise to Azure CSP is professional oriented not only includes just the overall migration plan; It covers all perspectives like compliance , governance and infra recommendations. The most highlighted element is the blueprint workshops that provide a total view of all the aspects of a transition. EA agreement covers clouds items as well as on premise environment. Azure AD/Entra is functioning perfectly and it's a smooth connectivity with on premise DCs through Azure AD Connect. Office 365 is already included in the general service options. Secure score is a real game changer in terms of metrics and fwups.
Cons
It's not the least cost effective CSP provider. There are hidden costs in the environment that we can not find out what they are. There are also ghost costs. Every item is a cost in the CSP. Free services are frequently converted to a paid service model. Another issue in Azure, it has all the solutions inside however they are not the best or breed compared to other.

Pros and Cons of Microsoft Azure

Powerful Cloud Platform, Best for Those with Advanced Skills
Pros
What I like most about Microsoft Azure is its ease of use and intuitive UI. Navigating through Azure's portal feels seamless, with everything well-organized and easily accessible, whether I'm on a desktop, tablet, or even a mobile device. The centralized dashboard makes managing resources simple, even across multiple projects.
Azure also shines in providing actionable recommendations for optimizing performance, especially for web applications and databases. Its built-in analytics and insights tools are invaluable for pinpointing areas to enhance speed, efficiency, and overall user experience. When it comes to storage, Azure is robust and versatile, offering a range of scalable options that integrate smoothly with other services.
Overall, Azure delivers a comprehensive, user-friendly experience that empowers me to manage, optimize, and scale my resources with confidence.
Cons
Azure’s cost structure confusing and challenging to manage, which can make it difficult to budget or anticipate expenses accurately. Also, while Azure’s hybrid cloud capabilities are powerful, setting them up is complex and often requires significant expertise

It is is robust directory services that gets its strength from being in the cloud and not tied to internal servers or connections. It is a industry standard user management solutions that allows us to run account lifecycles and connect with other software and programs.
Pros

Literally the best platform for new e-commerce businesses!
We are currently working on offering customized shopping experience to our customers and microsoft azure's scalable features are of a lot of help. The risk management it offers has helped us cut on a lot of downsides for our business. Azure's back up is a saviour and it has helped us overcome many surver failures initially.
Pros
The one thing I like the most about this platform is that it is extremely cost effective. They offer trials for their tools and have tangible pricing for all kinds of e-commerce businesses. The tools are versatile but at the same time they are user-friendly for beginners making it very easy to grab its working. The tools are exceptionally easy to navigate and implement. This saves me a lot of time since an e-commerce business with a small team is takes a lot of time and effort to upscale. They are very quick in providing resolution so beginners can frequently use it to look up for help. The platform is integrated with almost every useful platfrom so data storing and streamlining becomes very easy.
Cons

I suggested Microsoft Azure Everyone
Azure has been a smooth experience for us, the GUI is user-friendly and easy to understand. Setting up a virtual machine is made so easy nowadays. I feel like Azure has everything a business can need. We were worried about the cloud performance but the performance is just great.
Pros
One of the standout features of Microsoft Azure is its comprehensive suite of services, covering everything from computing and storage to AI and machine learning. Its scalability and flexibility empower businesses to tailor solutions to their specific needs, all supported by Microsoft's robust security and global infrastructure.
Cons
While Microsoft Azure offers a vast array of services, its complexity can be daunting for newcomers. Navigating the numerous features and understanding their interactions requires a steep learning curve. Additionally, occasional downtime or service disruptions, albeit infrequent, can disrupt operations, highlighting the importance of robust backup and contingency plans.

Excellent end-to-end cloud solutions that come at a cost
Pros
There is a wide variety of components, ranging from Infrastructure as a Sevice (IaaS) to Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). You can get a project or a pilot up and running in minutes, with everything you need, in a modular way. The services I find more useful (apart virtual machines) are Application Insights and Docker Image Registries, two components that tipically take a lot of effort to set up on premises.
Cons
Unfortunately if you have Azure bulk credits because you participate in some Microsoft programs, there is currently no way to set budget alerts or thresholds, so you must keep an eye on usage. Also, OpenAI costs are still high compared to competition.

The Overall Experience was Good and using Microsoft Azure was a great way to use developer tools and manage your app and adding AI features easily.
Pros
The feature I like the most about Microsoft Azure is its real time analytics which gives real time data of apps and also its premade code templates which saves a lot of time.
Cons
The thing that I don't like would be that it is quite difficult to integrate with non-Microsoft software.

Overkill and complicated, but robust
Have used Storage, Computing, and Domain services, including DNS.
Pros
Offers a wide variety of services, and backed by Microsoft.
Cons
It's such a behemeth that it's overkill for small teams. The accounting, subscriptions, resources, and there are so many organizational traits, it can take forever to track down resource responsible for a cost unless you know where to go. It also seems like there have been a variety of outtages lately, but mostly in the Office365 side (not really Azure)
