One of the Best!
Great overall. It's better than most. Room for improvement (if not in price points) than in a UI/X and less to no errors.
Pros
Constant Contact has the BEST customer service. Top notch!
Cons
At this price point, there should be NO bugs in usage. Still, however, there are issues when trying to do a few things. As good as they are, and better than most, there if much room for UI/X improvement!
Reasons for Switching to Constant Contact
Mailchimp was not worth the barely cheaper cost since I was already familiar with Constant Contact. And the Acumbamail UI/X needs improvement to compete with Constant Contact...even at a lower price point.- Industry: Nonprofit Organisation Management

Amazing Software for any organization!
We started using this when our organization was founded and it has been our staple software since. We use it to track how many people are engaging with our community. We can see if folks click through to go deeper, it truly is amazing! We've thought about changing over the years, but just cannot fathom not using it!
Pros
The variety of templates coupled with the opportunity to track who reads, clicks, etc. is invaluable at our knowing who is engaging with our community. Also, the variety of "offerings" through Constant Contact. It is more than an email system.
Cons
There are a few quirks with the system. Example - we have multiple admin emails in the system, but it will not allow us to choose a different "from" email as the default. It is one of our employees and needs to be a different one. This is not a game changer, you just have to remember to change the email if you start a brand new email stream. Talked with Customer Service and they said this is something they are working on.

Do not recommend Constant Contact
I did not have a good experience with constant contact which pushed me to shop around for other platforms. I work with a team which includes event planners, designers, communication professionals and no one had a positive experience with Constant Contact.
Pros
Kind of easy to collaborate with team. A section to interact with other users when the help desk cannot provide solutions to problems.
Cons
Not easy to get platform help.
The platform settings don't always save which causes mistakes. The contact list is not sophisticated, the formatting is clunky, and event side of the platform does not have enough capabilities.

Great for Email Marketing and Client Engagement
Constant Contact has been a reliable tool for managing my email marketing. It’s user-friendly, offers great design flexibility, and helps me stay connected with clients. The automation features save time, and overall, it has improved my communication and engagement with my audience. Highly recommend it for any business focused on email marketing!
Pros
What I like most about Constant Contact is its ease of use for creating beautiful, professional email campaigns. The drag-and-drop editor makes it simple to customize templates, and the automation tools help me stay in touch with clients without much effort. The reporting features also give great insights into open rates and clicks, which helps me refine my campaigns.
Cons
The pricing can be a bit high for smaller businesses, especially when adding more contacts. It would be great if there were more affordable plans for startups or companies with fewer clients.

Constant Contact: Email Marketing Excellence
Implementing Constant Contact with our team has been more advantageous, as recognized below. The use of the welcome series and engagement campaigns has enabled the firm to keep an excellent client rapport. I find its reliability concerning the large send volumes and the variety of the reporting tools to be indispensable for our communications plans.
Pros
One of Constant Contact's strongest features is that it's constantly updating analytic tools that show the open rate and pattern of the campaigns and the subscribers. I have to note how easy the platform is to use, especially the drag-and-drop feature, and they also provide templates depending on the industry, financial services in this particular case. For example, the possibility to divide the audience according to behavioral data and develop an email sequence based on the customer's interactions makes it highly effective for financial messaging.
Cons
Compared to the competitors, possible A/B tests are more restricted; the possibility of tests at Newsletter2Go is only subject lines of the message. Where improvements can be made is in how the template's customization is: some aspects remain set in stone when attempting to adhere to precise branding standards. The social media integration tools must be advanced for enhancing marketing.

Excellent tool for boosting online sales
My overall experience with Constant Contact has been very positive. I have seen a noticeable increase in customer engagement and sales since I started using their services. The automation features have saved me time by allowing me to schedule campaigns and follow-ups effortlessly. Customer support has also been very responsive and helpful whenever I had questions or issues.
Pros
I particularly appreciated the ease of use of Constant Contact. The customizable email templates allowed me to create professional and attractive campaigns quickly. The integration with social media, especially Facebook, was a major asset for reaching a wider audience and increasing my sales. Additionally, the detailed reports helped me understand what works and adjust my strategies accordingly.
Cons
One aspect I found a bit less satisfactory is the cost, which can be high for small businesses. Also, the initial learning curve can be a bit steep for those unfamiliar with digital marketing tools. However, once these obstacles are overcome, using the platform becomes much smoother.

A User-Friendly Email Marketing Platform
Overall, Constant Contact is a solid email marketing platform for designers, offering a user-friendly interface and effective tools for creating and tracking campaigns, but it may not provide the depth of customization that more experienced designers might prefer.
Pros
It's easy to use and offers a variety of customizable templates, which is great for graphic designers who need to create visually appealing email campaigns without starting from scratch. The platform also provides useful analytics to track the performance of email campaigns, which helps designers understand how their designs are resonating with audiences.
Cons
While the templates are customizable, they can sometimes feel limiting compared to the full design freedom a graphic designer might want. Additionally, the platform’s email builder can be clunky, and some elements may not always display as expected across different email clients.

Affordable & Easy to Use
Pros
I think Constant Contact's general User Interface is straightforward and intuitive, which works great for small offices with people who may not be so tech savvy. The design interface is easy to use, but it is also easy to import your own designs from other sources. As an office manager, I have purged a lot of unnecessary subscriptions from our work flow, but Constant Contact has never been one I've really considered. The price is comparable to other services, and the FAQ is helpful.
Cons

Using constant contact for follow up surveys

And works great to register send emails and create surveys
Pros
Constant contact For surveys is a great way to follow up with anyone that’s attended an event.
Since you’re able to create an event and people can register through constant contact, it’s all very streamline to where you can send a survey after.
Cons

Cons
We feel that Constant Contact "fails" to satisfy the affordability test, despite being a tool designed to support the expansion of small enterprises. The tool ($12/month for the lowest tier subscription) can be perfect for your business if you simply have a few hundred members. If simple functioning is all you seek, then this is also true.
You will have to pay a high amount, though, if you want Constant Contact to have all the capabilities you need to actually execute successful email marketing.
Furthermore, extra fees apply for supplementary capabilities like SMS and Litmus' "Inbox previews." This implies that your overall cost will be significantly higher than what you may have anticipated.

Excruciatingly Painful To Use This Tool
If the decision was up to me, I would move to a more intuitive platform with a better UX.
Pros
Not a thing. I have used many CRMs, lead gen and email at scale tools. I have never used a tool so clunky and complicated as this. I am opening support tickets on a daily basis, this tool seems outdated, too complex and more often than not leaves me frustrated and takes me away from my work.
Cons
There isn't even a title field available to fill out when adding new contacts to an account. Examples like this cause redundancy. I have noticed a lot of bugs, and struggle with the clunky interface. When you import contacts via CSV they then can't be added to your workflows easily and requires the process to be very manual, defeating the purpose. I have had to request support almost on a daily basis while I have appreciated the help of [sensitive content hidden], I can't help help but feel like things should not be this complex. I never had this much difficulty when using other platforms like salesforce, hubspot, salesloft and could easily use their platforms without in depth training, they were intuitive out of the box.

Constant Contact Is Okay; Improvements Needed
Honestly, Constant Contact is fairly infuriating when designing marketing emails, but it integrates with our database, so we continue to use it. And even the integration is not perfect and any time I've found issues, Donor Perfect puts the blame on Constant Contact and Constant Contact puts the blame on Donor Perfect and if I ever press further, I've been told "It's two giant systems integrating, the integration will never be perfect." So guess we're stuck with Constant Contact for now, but it is rather annoying to use.
Pros
It integrates with our database, Donor Perfect, and syncs each night, which is helpful. The ability to segment and create lists is good and I appreciate that you cannot accidentally duplicate contacts. It's also nice to be able to schedule social media posts as well off the emails.
Cons
Designing emails in Constant Contact is such a pain. It always does SUPER weird things, which I suspect has to do with the way the emails auto code. Back in the day, you used to be able to manually go into the code and change it, which we would do regularly. But then they changed to this "simpler" format, and while it is more user friendly, they took away the option to manually change the code. When we asked them about getting that functionality back, we basically receive a big shrug. So now you have to deal with things like if you copy text from ANYWHERE (even Notepad, which has no formatting) and paste it into your email, the actual font, font color, and font size are NOWHERE NEAR the actual font, font color, and font size you have already in your email, so then you have to select that entire patch of text and redo it so that it matches whatever text you have, and sometimes it randomly bolds things too. It is such a pain. This happens too if God forbid you decide to actually TYPE in the box, the font attributes will all completely change, unless you type in the middle of your paragraph and then delete around it. It's maddening. Additionally, when you send tests to yourself and then forward them, the spacing completely changes, so I have to tell my bosses that no the actual email is not actually going to have giant spaces in it. And when you send an email from Constant Contact that has a background color and forward it (this is in Outlook), the background color comes with it, so you have to manually change the page color of your email, which is difficult for me to teach some of the older staff on our team to do.

Constant Contact is a game changer for marketing communication and so much more!
Amazing! Constant Contact covers most of our marketing communication needs with their many tools, ease of developing a campaign or email, and their customer service is there to help every step of the way when you need it.
Pros
Their customer service is amazing! Also, the flexibility, ease of use, the many templates, not just email marketing, but surveys, event registration and management, ability to test your message before it is sent, and what you get for the price is also attractive. It is overall the best for marketing emails, event registration, tracking success, managing your database of contacts, surveying, and it is easy to learn. Plus, everything is managed in one place so you can do data segmentation for targeted marketing, manage your information more effectively, run reports, and maintain the information you capture easily.
Cons

Constant Contact is a bit more expensive compared to some other email marketing platforms, but I feel like you’re paying for the ease of use and reliability. It’s definitely one of the more user-friendly tools out there, especially if you’re not super tech-savvy. User-friendly email marketing solutions for small businesses
Our experience with Constant Contact has been overwhelmingly positive. For more than a decade, it has provided a dependable solution for all our clinic's email marketing needs, from mass promotions to sharing educational content on skincare and dermatology. The platform’s reliability, combined with excellent customer support, has been crucial in helping us maintain strong communication with our clients. We highly recommend it to any business seeking a reliable and effective email marketing tool.
Pros
Constant Contact has been our go-to platform for managing email marketing campaigns for over 10 years, and it has consistently proven to be reliable. Creating and sending bi-weekly newsletters and eblasts to our clients is simple and efficient. We particularly value the ability to segment our mailing list and track email performance, allowing us to tailor promotions and share skincare and dermatology education with our audience more effectively.
Cons
Overall, the platform performs well, but there is room for improvement, especially in the template customization options. The design tools can feel somewhat limited when trying to create highly branded, visually engaging emails. A more intuitive interface for accessing and navigating advanced features would also greatly improve the user experience.

Pros

A Solid Email Marketing Solution
Constant Contact has been a reliable tool for our marketing needs. It offers a good balance of features and support, though there is always room for improvement.
Pros
Extremely user friendly! Super easy layout, professional, and customizable tools. The analytics are also really helpful.
Cons
Pricing can be a bit steep, but is worth it.

The Best Automated System Ever!
My experience has been a happy one. Never has email marketing been more rewarding. It's as if I have my own social media marketer and virtual assistance in one for less. love it!!
Pros
In the past I would send out emails to clients one at a time which took a lot of time as my email list grew. Using Constant Contact not only saves me time but helps me reach more people increasing my online sales.
Cons
I absolutely love the system...I just wish more of my clients would open the emails which has nothing to do the Constant Contact.

From Constant Chaos to Constant Contact: An Email Marketing Odyssey
Constant Contact has been a perfect fit for our small business! It's user-friendly, even for non-techies like me. Designing emails is a breeze with drag-and-drop features and plenty of templates. It's great for basic email marketing and customer communication. The only drawback is the pricing as our list grows. But for now, Constant Contact is my go-to email marketing sidekick, making campaigns stand out effortlessly.
Pros
Forget fancy coding or a marketing degree! Constant Contact is a lifesaver for email newbies. Their interface is so user-friendly, even I can design slick campaigns in minutes. It's like having a drag-and-drop magic wand for crafting emails that get noticed.
Cons
Constant Contact is fantastic for beginners, but as your email list explodes, the pricing structure can get a bit pinchy.

It's fine, but it's not Mail Chimp
They are just fine. Don't expect to be able to speak with anyone in customer service--you get ONE call a year, ha! But if you're looking for inexpensive, it gets the job done. There are others, namely Mail Chimp, that are superior for a reason.
Pros
Constant Contact gets the job done. You can store email addresses and create emails.
Cons
Two things: it does not offer suppressions from sending lists. It would be great to have a feature that allows you to ensure emails are either receiving or not receiving a communication. Second: how is it 2024 and their emails for mobile still just stack everything? They can't figure out how to translate columns and wrapped photos yet? Literally everyone else does this.

Constantly Contact the Contact
My overall experience with Constant Contact is that it delivers what I need in making quick and easy forms
Pros
What I like the most about the Constant Contact is the ease of use of the program and the different templates that can be found in their library, and the presentation of the analytics of the feedback of the users
Cons
The least that I like about the program is the UI in needs a room of improvement, but nonetheless it is still easy to use.

Constant Contact Review
Constant Contact has been very useful for e-news, event, and fundraising communication. For the most part the platform is user friendly and intuitive to use. It's nice that multiple team members can have access to use the platform and send out communication. It's important to keep an eye on the number of contacts in your system and remove any outdated ones because Constant Contact bills by the number of contacts in your account.`I appreciate that I can pull data on the e-mail campaigns to understand readership and behavior. I use the data for quarterly reports at board meetings.
Pros
I like that Constant Contact provides a more dynamic and visual way of communicating information to stakeholders versus traditional e-mail. I also like that e-mail campaigns can be built and scheduled to go at a specific time. There are many formatting options available too.
Cons
Currently Constant Contact does not integrate with any of our organization's other databases, so our contact lists in the platform have to be updated manually. Thus, our contact lists would quickly get outdated if we didn't have a process in place. Also, sometimes the system options do not allow for a preferred format for e-mail campaigns.

Campaign & Content Management System
Pros
Constant Contact allocates an extended range of features in one place. Web design, audience targeting, conversion tracking and automated publishing are among the features that I use on a daily basis.
Cons
Everything is automated and web design involves drag and drop functionality. I find zero downsides.
