My experience with Microsoft To Do
Great and intuitive experience while using Microsoft To Do
Pros
Its most fascinating feature of Microsoft To Do is its cross-platform availability and user-friendly interface. Since I have an iOS mobile phone and a Windows laptop, it makes it easy to add and refer to my notes in my to-do list.
Cons
The thing that disheartens me, is that it is only available while I am online. That is, if in any case, I get disconnected to internet, it stops responding.

Share Quickly
This app does improve my efficiency throughout the day. I can quickly run through my schedule and tasks. I don't struggle to find lists and I can share straight from the app.
Pros
The app is fast and I was surprised by how well it works regardless of the device OS. I often use it on my phone and laptop, plus my coworkers can all use it as well. I like using To Do tasks and reminders because I can quickly write it up and send a copy to coworkers. The block style organization feels very efficient to me. My screen is easy to look at and I know what to expect when I open the app. I usually tap "My Day" to see what I have planned for that particular day. I like the ability to add attachments and steps, plus grouping tasks in lists.
Ability to choose a custom theme doesn't hurt. Also, it's free! No charges at any time.
Cons
Natural language input is something that is lacking and noticeably so. There is no paid version with more features to upgrade to if you'd like. What you see is what's available..
As I mentioned before, I like the organization but I wanted to slightly adjust the filter/view and it turns out that is not an option. It would be helpful to isolate items approaching their due date or even past due.

To Do: Great for emails, Bad for Complexity
To Do is great for creating a list of emails that need actions taken or require additional follow up, however any complex tasks are not managed efficiently.
Pros
I liked the integration with outlook - This makes the creation of tasks easy and quick.
Cons
Lack of complexity with regard to tasks is the worst part of To Do. Leaving notes on the action items is fine but updating notes, changing schedule and the history of To Do item changes is not recorded or easy to manage.

Good Alternative to Built-In App To Do App
Great to do list app. It has replaced the native Apple To Do list app for me.
Pros
Like the integration with Outlook and native apps on Mac and iOS.
Cons
Organizing tasks into separate project is difficult and not obvious how to move a task from one project to another. Not a problem if you manage everything in one global "To Do" list, but a pain if you want to organize them manually.

If you are not using To Do you are missing out
To me the most important feature is the due date. If you use that, it will automatically add to the My Day section, and you can see when it is overdue in the Tasks section. That makes it very easy not to lose track of priorities.
Pros
This is one of Microsoft's most underappreciated apps. I use it to drive my priorities every day and week. It has great features for recurring tasks, due dates, reminders, integrations, sharing with teammates, steps, notes, separate buckets - it is great!
Cons
Since there are so many ways it can be used, it has taken me a while to figure out how to most efficiently use it for my purpose. Users need to invest the time to get used to it and try different methods until they find what works best for them.

Microsoft To Do - a great companion
Microsoft To Do is an easy to use task and note management app that helps me organize my day-to-day activities. The notes and lists are easy to create and share with coworkers and even family for a better coordination. As I am already in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem it works very good with all other apps I use.
Pros
One of the best feature that I use daily is the fact that it syntonize seamless with Outlook making it easy to manage my emails and tasks from one place. Microsoft To Do is easy to use and is available on all platforms, smartphone and desktop PC witch make it very versatile and easy to use.

a simple yet powerful task manager for those fully invested in Microsoft ecosystem.
Microsoft To Do is a very effective task manager which is highly recommended for its full compatibility with the Microsoft ecosystem.
Pros
Microsoft To Do allows you to type tasks from WhatsApp, which is great if you want to input information quickly. It is also backed by Microsoft and has excellent integration with their other productivity products like Teams, Outlook or Planner.
Another key advantage is that Microsoft To Do is free for all Microsoft accounts, not only Microsoft 365 users.
Cons
Maybe the main con is that it is too lightweight for serious project tracking, but then again, Microsoft has Planner and Microsoft Project for more robust needs.

Microsoft To Do has made my mind a less cluttered place as I have all my daily tasks in the same place and stay on track. It's a straightforward solution for tracking my tasks and avoiding dropped balls.
Pros

Microsoft To Do is a near Flawless To-Do Application

My Experience with MICROSOFT TO DO
Microsoft To Do is great for managing tasks, especially if you already use other Microsoft apps. It's easy to use, helps keep things organized, and works well for sharing tasks with others. However, it doesn't have some advanced features and can sometimes be slow or have inconsistent notifications. You need a Microsoft account to use it, and some features vary between platforms. Despite these issues, it's a good tool for staying on top of your tasks.
Pros
The strong task organization capabilities of Microsoft To Do, including as lists, due dates, reminders, and tags, as well as its easy interaction with other Microsoft services, have earned it accolades from users. Sharing tasks and lists promotes teamwork, and the "My Day" function aids in keeping attention on daily priorities. It is an effective and multiplatform task management solution that allows for offline access, subtask support, customized themes, seamless integration with Microsoft 365, and availability across several platforms.
Cons
Microsoft To Do's drawbacks include its lack of sophisticated capabilities, limitations on customization, sporadic performance problems, irregular notifications, and a learning curve for novice users. Gantt charts and other project management tools are absent, and there is little integration with non-Microsoft services. It requires a Microsoft account and has been known to cause synchronization problems and offline functionality according to certain users. Furthermore, different platforms may not all have the same features available.

What “To Do” with Microsoft
Microsoft To Do is yet another software option that came with our Office 365 plan. I’m sure I’m not the only person who has glanced at the additional software offerings from Microsoft but did not try to incorporate it. Thankfully, we did not go this route with To Do. We weren’t looking for software “to do” what To Do does, but once we realized the functionality it provided, we use it daily. It has been another example of Microsoft providing us with solutions to problems we did not know we had.
Pros
The best part of Microsoft To Do for our organization is the ease with which it integrates into our other Office applications. It fits in perfectly with the software we are already using on a daily basis.
Cons
There is nothing game-changing about Microsoft To Do. It’s not software that we cannot live without, nor are we convinced that there are not other options with more functions. However, we did not implement it with those hopes in mind. For what we need it to do—help us keep employees and groups on task and making progress towards short and long term goals—it is great.

Great mobile daily planner
I would say that my overall experience was great
Pros
What I like about Microsoft to do is how easy it is to use. It's got a few really nice features such as being able to group your task lists, changing the background of your lists, sync with your OneDrive account, etc. it's also a really good app to use as a mobile daily planner.
Cons
What I didn't like is that it can be confusing upon initial first time use. You really have to take your time to explore the app. Once you get to know how to use it, however, it becomes easier to use.

Built in task manager
Pros
I've been using Microsoft To Do to assign tasks to my team and it has been an absolute game-changer! The app makes it incredibly easy to create and assign tasks to specific team members, set due dates, and track progress. I love how I can see when tasks are being completed and get notifications when important deadlines are approaching. This has helped me stay on top of my team's workload and ensure that everyone is staying productive and on task. The ability to add notes and attachments to each task is also incredibly helpful, as it allows me to provide all relevant information to my team in one place. Overall, Microsoft To Do has made it so much easier for me to manage my team's workload and stay on top of important tasks. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful task management tool!
Cons
If I had to choose something I liked least about Microsoft To Do I would say the lack of native themes for the app.

My Every Day Essential
Amazing, I use it every day, and almost always have the To-Do tab open 24/7 on my computer. In my job, I typically get a slew of tasks given to me in quick succession on calls, and having the to-do list up it the best way for me to log in each one quickly, add details during a call/meeting, and then get moving on completing each task within my longer timeframe.
Pros
This is the perfect solution for the digital age - a modern to-do list that easily links to my email inbox, and helps me actually accomplish every task I need to.
Cons
No complaints, it's user-friendly, links to my email so I can "flag" important emails to follow up on, I can add detailed notes to my to-do lists so that I remember things pertaining to the tasks, and set due dates that keep me on task.

Pros

Pros
I like that it organizes my lists. I have so many tasks to do and so little time. Its very user friendly and even my stupid co-worker can use with no problem. It took hardly any time to teach her how to use it.
Cons

Microsoft to do feedback
Overall, I've had a good experience with Microsoft To Do. I can stay busy and organized with the help of this easy-to-use task management application. Managing both personal and professional commitments has been made easier by the ability to make several lists, set reminders, and prioritize activities. Its consistent updates and enhancements have made it a dependable option for effectively planning everyday chores, despite some early integration difficulties.
Pros
The best thing about Microsoft To Do is how well-balanced its robust task management tools are with its ease of use. Although it is simple to use, its robustness allows it to cover a wide range of organizational demands, from basic to-do lists to more intricate project management chores.
Cons
The thing I disliked the most about Microsoft To Do at first was how poorly it integrated with other Microsoft services and platforms, which occasionally made it difficult to work seamlessly between different apps. But with updates and improvements over time, this has become better.

Simple tool but lacks prioritization tools
It's a good tool in theory but in practice, it for some reason does not work for me that well. The very thing that is probably its strong suit - that you remember every single task you have written down - is what makes it lose its value for me. For me, less important small undone tasks clutter the list so much that I have to delete it all and start from scratch if I want to be abel to make sense of it at all and see my priorities, not a cluster of minor tasks.
Pros
Simple to use and log tasks quickly. Good integration with Outlook, easy to see tasks in the Outlook sidebar.
Cons
Not too much control about task management. I tend to update the task list when I have a lot of tasks to manage at once, and when they get done they tend to pile up and once the list inevitably gets out of date, I stop looking at it as frequently.

Simple and Effective: A Reliable Task Management Tool
Overall, my experience with Microsoft To Do has been positive. The app’s simplicity and ease of use make it a great tool for managing daily tasks and staying organized.
Pros

Additionally, the ability to sync across devices ensures that your to-do lists are always up-to-date, whether you’re on your phone, tablet, or computer.

It is not bad enough to look for alternative and not good enough to enjoy.
Overall, it a fairly basic tool which is quite bearable for managing personal tasks. However, due to the collaboration and visualization components being very weak (which, I guess, are extraordinarily important), working in Microsoft To Do prompts me to use sticky notes as much as I can.
Pros
After the latest update, it became much more easier to create tasks directly from the meeting. A prioritization works fairly fine especially if one can use various color tags and teams.
Cons
The visualization and collaboration components are just horrible. It is more or less fine for managing the personal tasks, but if you are a manager or just want to see an overview of some specific tasks and the timeline, then you will experience a lot of headaches and frustration.

Helpful App
I do like Microsoft To Do and it definitely feels like I save time and get more work done when using it. It could be better but it's still an advantage vs nothing at all.
Pros
I like that it reminds me to do things, I definitely need that sometimes. Same with having all my tasks in one spot.
I signed up fast with my Microsoft account and I can integrate with other Microsoft apps. I can flag emails (that are sent to my Microsoft account only) and they will show up in the app. From there I can make a task or list if needed. If you're working with a team, it will also show you what tasks are assigned to you specifically.
Repeating tasks are especially helpful for me, and they're easy to set up.
Cons
The layout of the home screen is kind of awkward. In the margin there's an option for "tasks" but also various different categories of tasks like "planned". They're all planned technically so I don't quite understand that one, but the point is at first I missed things because of the categories.

To do is a very good application to generate productivity in the team
An experience 10 out of 10 we have had greater productivity with the program in this sense it has been particularly interesting to work with it, the completion of tasks and task lists is easy to generate, we also love that since it is a Microsoft product it can have compatibility with Other products that we use from Microsoft such as Outlook and Microsoft Planner, Word, etc.
Pros
I love that when the program is opened it generates reminder notifications of the pending tasks that need to be completed, I think it is a very good assistant for all software developers.
It also keeps a productivity count and this means that at the end of the day we can see how far we have progressed in our work and at what point we can say that we are already in a safe rest zone to be able to jump to the next project.
Cons
There have been occasional deadline reminders and the program arbitrarily changed the deadline for another similar task that we were generating. It is a technical error that was solved by contacting support, but I am grateful that there was such a willingness to solve this.

Microsoft To Do Review
Generally I am very happy with To Do. Especially with new possiblities like easily sharing small task lists or creating repetitive tasks. If Microsoft improves the overall integration that would be perfect.
Pros
Efficient daily organizatioin using different categories and still having the overview over your work day using the due dates and "My day".
Cons
Integration with Microsoft Planner can still be enhanced. In my team we use planner for tasks everyone should be aware of that the others are working on, but still of course there are tasks that everyone wants to keep for himself. In To Do there is a category called "Assigned to me" but there is no option to put them in separate categories or to reorder them.

The most I like at Microsoft To Do is that is free, already integrated with Windows and available as mobile apps on Android and IOS. The synchronization between the devices is fast and you can always be sure that all devices and people get the task or note immediately.
Cons
For me everything works as it should be, there are no things to like less.

Stay organised with To Do
I love To Do and use it every day for teams that I am part of, as well as managing my own daily tasks and reminders.
Pros
Super easy to use and perfect for collaborative task management. The ability to bolt onto Teams as an app is also a real advantage too, minimising the need to utilise multiple systems simultaneously.
Cons
No obvious flaws for me… It’s appeal is in its simplicity, so the inclusion of additional features may not be a good thing!

Microsoft To Do Review
Pros
I like that it's easy to use and free! It's simple to use for everyday tasks. I use it daily!
Cons
It's too simple for bigger projects. It doesn't have enough options for organizing things. I can't easily share my lists with clients.
