Once it's set up, it's been wonderful
It took about 4 months to get everything straightened out and running smoothly. But I really think it's because they were understaffed at the time of onboarding. It has been pretty smooth since.
Pros
It takes care of a lot of aspects of payroll automatically. It will even integrate month-to-month workman's comp insurance and 401k through Human Interest.
Cons
The initial setup took forever. Apparently, they had too many companies sign up at the same time and not enough people to do it. They had me submit a bunch of forms and reports, and then couldn't find the information and I had to get them updated reports. It took about 5 months to get everything straightened onut.

Love Paycor
I love it. I recommend companys to it all the time, but don't like the customer service.

The ability to have everything in one system. I basically have all products of Paycor except the benefits part because were not there yet.
Cons
Customer Service - I have issues where they don't respond promptly. I have been waiting 2 months for a report. Even after we had a zoom meeting.

Performance when working
It is very easy to use, its interface is intuitive, and it has allowed me to maintain efficient management of employees and company projects. It also provides detailed reports that assist in decision-making.

A Fine Alternative To ADP
At first I was hesitant when we switched over from ADP. But I can say not only am I impressed, but I actually prefer it now!!
Pros
It's extremely used friendly and I love the UI! It's an extremely versatile program that we use for payroll, employee benefits, tracking of both personal and employees performance, tax prep and so much more!
Cons
My one and only complaint was that it was initially particularly easy to navigate the benefits portions and features on Paycor. But once that was discerned, it was easy to do in subsequent years.

Paycor is a decent Payroll Provider and HRIS for the cost.
Pros
The thing I like most about Paycor is that it seems they do care about customer feedback. They try to address many of the issues their users face and provide them with regular updates on what is being improved in the system.
Cons
The customer service is not very good. Many of the representatives I've spoken with don't seem to understand the system and lack communication skills. On many of my calls to Paycor, I wind up waiting on hold for an extended period of time just for the call to be disconnected.

Paycor HRIS Review
Overall, I am quite happy with Paycor. We are able to accomplish what we need and work with them to customize our solution.
Pros
I like the functionalities of Paycor for almost all things HR related. This system is easy to use for employee payroll, benefits, timekeeping, compensation, and more. The premium support option is amazing - if you have an issue, you call in and talk to a team of Paycor reps that know your company and processes. You talk to the same team each time! They have a lot of extra features that can be added.
Cons
The downside of Paycor is if you have multiple companies (EIN's) that need to work together. A lot of things can be customized, but some options are a one size fits all for your entire company. This is particularly frustrating with Performance Management as all companies don't do the same thing. Also, it seems like they haven't tested quite enough before rolling out new features.

pretty good experience
overall the experience is ok. I wish we had dedicated support specialists. It feels as though if there is a problem and you need to contact support there is always someone new that we have to reach out to and explain the situation yet again.
I also understand from our payroll person that there seems to be quarterly tax issues and she tries numerous times to get it take care of. In this regard it is costing out company more money.
Pros
A lot of the features make sense and I like that it is one central portal for our needs.
Cons
Things will change without notice. Also, if we are having an issue with something we will hear it is a "known issue". I feel we, the customer, should know too.

Paycor as an HRIS
I went to Paycor's user conference in April 2024 and benefited from doing so. I was able to voice some frustrations/questions while there; representatives from Paycor did follow up with me later to provide answers and training. The sessions they offered had product-specific information, which was helpful to me as a new user. My Paycor experience has been much more positive since then. I did appreciate being heard.

The Paycor platform is intuitive to end users.
Cons
Paycor's general customer service is underwhelming. The implementation for HR modules was nonexisten.

Paycor Recruiting - Not worth the money
Not great. We have reached out several times to set meetings to get this fixed and try to optimize the platform. We have had 0 response, automated responses that are not applicable, and even escalated the attempts to reach out multiple times. When they finally got back to us months later, they attempted to charge us a fee so they could fix what was all wrong with the platform. Then ghosted us again.
Pros
Integrates with Paycor on the payroll and HR side.
Cons
It is hard to navigate. Not user friendly. Low HM adoption rate. Lacking in so many areas. They should drop this product and work on better integrations with better known ATS like Greenhouse or Lever.
I also just learned that Paycor is ending their integrations to these top ATS to potentially force people to using theirs or one of the ATS they acquired. This move has made us want to reconsider even using Paycor for payroll and HR.

Paycor - no accountabillity
Horrible - lack of ownership. Refusal to research data issues. Outright lies about functionality of product vs actual usage.
Pros
We truly liked our salesperson, but even they have left Paycor now.

No audit trail, no dedicated support, refusal to allow access to all support teams when we had questions, lack of connectivity in their own products

Paycor for Beginners
Paycor saved its purpose for a time but as our company continues to grow we are needing a software with better customer service and higher functionality.

There seemed to be quite a few frequent glitches with the software. The customer service was also far from top notch. Often speaking to individuals who would attempt to talk me through a fix from somewhere out of the country.

Paycor Functionality
I personally like paycor from the admin side but overall it did not offer the customizing we need such as resetting user emails and password resets are so difficult for the end user.

I prefer using Paycor over several systems I have used in the past. The ease of navigation and accessibility helps admins process employee requests.

Cons
Some of the reporting is difficult to access and populate. I struggled to pull reports that showed me things at a glance; such as time sheets. It would be nice to go to one spot to pull all time sheets instead of individual employee profiles.

One of the greatest yet easiest payroll software programs out
Its a great program and not real hard to navigate, I would recommend to any small business or any start up thats not familiar with payroll yet or time management calculations.
Pros
Everything I mentioned above but most of all the direct deposit features as well as the time clock by web or mobile with geovalidation .
Cons
The cost of the software is whaf I would say I liked the least ,it was sonewhat more than other software providers .I was worth it but thats about the only dislike I can think of .

Good product, no direction
I have had to learn everything on my own and I would have preferred to have an established and developed relationship with a dedicated Paycor account rep who understands our industry and business. There is a lot of room for improvement. I like the product but the implementation was horrible and a lack of responsibility and urgency from the PayCor Implementation Team, with the exception of [sensitive content hidden], who was fantastic.

I like the new product development and constant evolution of the products
Cons
I do not like the level of support we receive for the amount of money we pay every month. The follow up is lacking and it seems to a random hit or miss when reaching someone in customer care.

Paycor meets needs
Pros
We were able to integrate more things into this one system. It’s easy to use and learn. The recruitment and onboarding work great.
Cons
The benefits module is super hard to get set up, the process is using excel spreadsheets and so many opportunities for error. We are on our third attempt and it’s still painful.

Learning Curve
It is a love/hate relationship for us. We love some of the features but are disappointed in how we are not able to use all of the features. The customer service has been a disappointment as well. I am hopeful as we continue to learn more that we will have even more love than hate in the near future.
Pros
The look and feel of Paycor is great. The onboarding is my favorite as it really saves me so much time. I also love the employee do-it-yourself features for tax forms and direct deposit. TIME SAVERS.
Cons
The Time Off Manager system has given us a lot of problems. It is inflexible - so for employers who are striving to give their employees a flexible schedule and work-life balance it is not great. We have had to discontinue the use of the request time off feature because it was throwing our PTO balances off.

Paycor is an excellent resource for HRIS systems
It’s been positive and enjoyable. When we’ve had concerns or challenges, they’ve been quick to respond and address them. They worked with us to pilot a snowflake connection for our system data to flow to our PowerBI system.
Pros
Ease of use to program and manage. The structure of the system is predictable and simple to navigate
Cons
Inconsistencies in our implementation. We have multiple IDs in various states. We discovered differences in settings which should have been the same across the IDs.
Advance notice of changes before they are released will also be helpful. Several times we’ve been surprised to find changes without knowing it was happening.

Customer service is awful.
I did not choose this system, and I would never recommend it. When I make an error it is ridiculously hard to get help. When Paycor makes an error it is ridiculously hard to get help.
Pros
Easy to use, and does have some good features.
Cons
Most features don't work or don't work properly if you do not use their time and attendance module. Features are added and then taken away frequently. No ability to make notes in most parts of the employee database. Salespeople promise things that are not true and then they disappear. Customer service is a joke. Anyone who actually knows anything is so protected from the public that it is impossible to get any real answers. They just keep referring you to their online answers which cover only the basics - not the things you actually need help with.

It is a fairly easy system to use and navigate.
Cons
Constant issues. Problem with I9, schedules when it comes to time off being entered for 3rd shift employees, customer service number, etc.

Time cards changed without listening to customer feedback. Ideas and feedback are marked as “not considering”. Have to pay for dedicated support reps. Some payroll functionally isn’t there like prorating benefits.

Happy Paycor Customer
We have been using Paycor for about 3 years. It was a rocky start with our PTO plans not calculating correctly but have fixed those issues. I have taken the time to get Paycor Certified and that has helped me know my way around reporting and timekeeping, which was tricky to figure out at the start. Through the years, I truly believe Paycor is dedicated to improving because I see it every day.
Pros
It's easy to use! Paycor offers a ton of options to have the system work exactly how you need it to. The trainings are also fabulous!!
Cons
They do like to change things around, which can be frustrating, but they have a ton of guides to make you aware of what's changing.

Paycor Year 1 Review
Overall its been great. We are learning the system yet on year one going all in for HR features slowly.
Pros
All in 1 and easy to use. Our rep, [sensitive content hidden], is constantly in contact. That's what sells- we have amazing service with the reach out and know who to contact for large items.
Cons
Just the W-2 process at year-end. It's a very intense time at year-end to balance everything and having W-2s be printed immediately after the last payroll still in 2023 is not like our previous vendors. Companies do adjustments at year-end when they review the W-2s and with Paylocity they gave us X amount of days after the last payroll to click and button and confirm that we reviewed and accept the W-2s. Paycor didnt ask and just printed. Created more panic/stress for us at year-end.

Paycor could be better
This system was handed down to my team as a result of an acquisition, and it has not been super smooth.
Pros
The welcome page for Paycor is fine. It provides some quick updates up front, but the benefits stop there.
Cons
Other than the front dashboard, I don't find Paycor to be very user-friendly. It's a cumbersome system that is not intuitive and requires more clicking around to find what you need than I think should be necessary.

Paycor Customer review
Overall, it's a most positive experience. I think they need to develop their benefits implementation, open enrollment support and EDI feeds. I will say once everything is up and running the platform operations

The payroll platform is so seamless and easy to use. This is the best function of the platform. I also like the ATS; it's also easy to post, review, store notes/scorecards, and schedule interviews. The hire to onboarding process is perfect.
Cons
The customer service and benefits implimentation and enrollment is not the best or smoothest I've used. Once set up, it runs fine.

Works just maybe not as well as it should.
I've had good ones and bad ones. Just depends on the customer service rep you get when an error arises.
Pros
I enjoyed how paycor worked, looked and ran last year. Once the updates started it changed the entire feel of paycor and it is not as user friendly as it was prior.
Cons
The new look with the changes such as time cards hate it. Tiemcards should be easily accessible in each e ployees profile and with the change its not.
The errors that should have been an automatic fix not a manual one.

Paycor makes payroll easy!
Great! Easy set up and help when needed, I love the new chat feature that makes getting help easy while continuing other work!
Pros
The designated setup team makes implementation so easy. Each department is included and thorough. The reports being able to be customizable is a great help.
Cons
During payroll weeks the time cards are slow to load we always have to do refreshes or shut the browser down and reopen
