From implementer to daily user from logistic side
In overall, I like work with SAP system. Its very user friendly, not so expensive in implementation comparing to others and easy to learn.
Pros
The most I like possibility of improvement the production cockpit where we add many options of scrap, rework or prodoction version reporting.
It gave us great possibilities to analyze production process statistics.
Cons
Least in SAP I like the pace of work - many reports are generating some minutes.

One of the best ERP systems in the cloud
My accounting entries were quite simple to enter. Very little work is required, and it's simple to pick up and expand. Once done on an Excel spreadsheet, the process is now unnecessary because all participants have access to the data.
Pros
The project management tools in SAP S/4HANA Cloud make it easy for me to keep track of my customers' endeavors. My experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud over the past year has convinced me that it is the best cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution currently on the market. I like it a lot because of how well it can examine and process a transaction.
Cons
It's very expensive to set up, whether you're paying for the cloud infrastructure itself or for a consultant to help you get started. There are also significant ongoing costs associated with things like upgrades and keeping your system secure.

Why do we still suffer this program?
The overall experience is not great. It's a game of mental gymnastics every time I need to use the program, having to memorize a specific order of oddly placed button clicks to accomplish simple tasks. Our clients who use SAP always speak in SAP-jargon and somehow expect us to understand them, making the experience worse.
Pros
It was slightly better than SAP 3 or whatever the native desktop app we switched from was. It has okay customization options so you can remove some unused buttons, but that was the only improvement.
Cons
I honestly dread hearing that we are taking on a new client that uses SAP. Sure, SAP can be a powerful tool and has a lot of features, but it is too overwhelming. You need a weeklong course to just understand the basics of this program. Every function (and there are SO MANY) is not clearly labeled, instead using some alpha-numeric code (VL02, MIGO, etc), or a title that doesn't really match what it is you are trying to do. I've never used a program that takes so many button clicks to accomplish simple tasks like printing a Bill of Lading. The UI is extremely outdated.

Overall, this tool is definitely needed for companies to migrate from SAP ECC. My experience with the tool has been good. The business users too feel that most of the processes are already available in the Business Content of SAP
Pros
This is something enterprises definitely need to move if they are running on SAP. The best part of S/4 HANA is its processing time and intelligence. The speed at which the processing is done is amazing

Excellent ERP software
My overall experience has been really good. I use SAP Hana daily and it really makes my work more efficient since it has so much data in it that gives accurate reports and analytics of our operations.
Pros
One of the best features of SAP HANA is its high performance and real-time processing capabilities. Because it stores data in memory rather than on disk, it can handle large amounts of data and provide fast query response times. This boosts all operations of our company and minimizes downtime.
Cons
Can be complex in the beginning like all ERP tools. It also has limited integration possibilities with non-SAP systems.

Pre-eminent ERP solution
My overall experience is exceptionally good, the most accommodating piece is the quicker handling of information, report building & queries.
Pros
The best thing is its versatility. It can store information from different sources and cycles according to request without a hitch. We significantly use it to oversee the resources and general undertakings are executed really well.
Cons

Robust ERP solution
Overall It is a dynamic ERP solution I used in a big organization with multiple processes. I was delighted to use it as it covers every aspect of processes comprehensively with details reporting outputs to fulfill business needs. However, prior to proceeding, you must be considered about its cost & your scope of business.
Pros
As per organization needs. You could define user role-based access in the system with solid activity Log that helps in Audit. Ease of navigating different options both with mouse clicking & T-Codes. Wide-ranging reports are extremely helpful.
Cons
It is quite an expensive ERP Solution that requires extensive prior training to go live. It also prevents to capture all countries Taxes, Duties due to its certain restriction. You also have to be very particular about its customization else it could be cumbersome.

A step into the future.
With SAP HANA, my skills in view calculations have increased, I have another point of view about how to create one type of report or another. It is also very productive and very fast response. In addition with other tools like SAP Lumira, Qlik View / Sense and Tableau you can get a nice result, it leverages BI to another level and makes your experience even better.
Pros
SAP HANA, or Netweaver over HANA DB (HDB) is a step into the future. Before this concept of in-memory computing and memory storage (without reading the disk all the time), some reports took very long to load. Now you can get access to a larger piece of data in seconds. HANA also brings BW to another level of real time reporting, even detailed information can be shown in no time, its very fast. The way we build views by using the HANA Modeler is very simple but yet powerful, you can do a lot with little knowledge and much more with some expertise.
Cons
The tools used to work with HANA are both the HANA Studio or Eclipse with SAP HANA plugins. In my opinion, it could be better than it is; with more components, less bugs (you have to restart the environment every once in a while) and a better explanation about how the aggregation you see has been formed (Simpler than PlanViz).

SAP - Best ERP Tool (Mainly for Manufacturing giants)
The overall experience is fantastic. If you have users who can correctly add the input data then you will get perfect reports and it can save lot of your time/efforts. I will recommend this to medium and large scale enterprises.
Pros
1. Audit Trail / Transaction History
2. Ease of Reporting
3. Downloading of data to Excel
I am using SAP since 2012. The best part of SAP is it keeps all the information and readymade audit trail is available. I personally like the ease of getting information via different T-codes, specially if you have access to Tables then you can download all the possible information. I have used this for FI, CO, MM & Purchasing module. The best part is that you can download all the to txt/xls format for further analysis.
Cons
SAP is very complex system and user training is very critical. The biggest issue we faced after SAP implementation is that if the trained user leaves and we have to train another user.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA
It was used for inventory control and order management in a publishing company for the control of newspaper printing.
Pros
The ability to customize and adapt the software to the needs of the company, making it easier for the company to really know where it is and what it has.
Cons
The implementation of SAP requires that the company meets certain standards, causing implementation times to increase. In several of the flows, the company has to adapt to the software and not the company to the software.

SAP HANA provides an in memory database for fast data access and processing
I what find is that since SAP is firmly sticking with in memory computing and making all of their processes compatible with in-memory computing. This eventually forces customers to migrate to HANA but the user experience in HANA is much better compared to the alternate in my opinion. This is recommended for any SAP customer with large volumes of data that needs processing, reporting and analysis. I would recommend with training
Pros
I like hat HANA is in-memory computing technology that provides an in memory database for fast data access and processing to users. Properties like faster data fetching, quick execution times, speedy access to external Apps make it a very useful technology. The business problems being solved with the product are as the data volume grows, the conventional database based reports and processes tend to slow down. This at times negatively affects the year on year trend analysis and processes requiring multiple data fetch. HANA, being in memory database virtually eliminates these issues. The data fetch is almost instantaneous and the processes run much faster.
Cons
I see nothing negative about the technology in itself. The roll out of this platform could have been done in a better way. The cloud integration of SAP has been slow as well. These I thing that can be looked into

S/4HANA helped massively boost our manufacturing processes
Our operations have been boosted massively by S/4HANA. With it, we've not only saved time and reduce human error by automating a lot of our repetitive operations, but we've also set up a system where data from all kinds of different areas flow down, get consolidated, and then charted to boost our data-driven decision making. It's pretty costly an difficult to set up, but once you have it up and running, it'll really boost your operations.
Pros
The best thing about it is just how integrated it is. We really needed a system where we didn't have to sync a dozen different tools together to run our operations, and S/4HANA has been a lifesaver in that regard. All the modules are linked together so you don't have to worry about integration health and all the data gets synced straight away
Cons
The pricing is a big disadvantage. It could be an issue for companies looking to use SAP to support their expansion.

SAP for use in production management
Very good when one is in need of planning their production process. SAP speeds up the production process seamlessly, and reduces the need of unnecessary movement and paperwork. You also get to learn a lot at a go since SAP has options for different logins to cater for each department needs. SAP also provides training for those with interest which I think makes it different from other software.
Pros
Ease of accessibility to the system and ease of use. I learnt how to use SAP in production, logistics and storekeeping in a week. SAP is practical and sustainable as it reduces the need of numerous paper work and one is able to track sales orders from the past if a customer decides to repeat the same sales order.
Cons
I feel SAP needs to work on notifying users on changes made by the administrator. This causes a lot of confusion especially when sales orders are completed only to find that a customer changed their production order. In large manufacturing facilities, the production team barely gets the time to follow up on past sales orders.

A consultant perspective on S/4 HANA Cloud
Pros
S/4 HANA Cloud brings a refreshing upgrade experience, which has always been a pain in every organization I have worked with. It also you forces you to re-focus your business processes, as the upgrade responsibility now occurs when dictated by SAP. Something great about having the most up to date system is S/4 is very focused on enabling APIs to interact with your ERP. Since you are constantly updating, you have available the latest APIs.
Cons
Its main strength is also its weakness. Your business users have to be very focused on validating the base functionality after an upgrade. It can be time consuming at times, but is essential to ensure business continuity.
