## Reviews

### "SAP S/4HANA Cloud Review" — 4.0/5

> **Carlos Hugo Martin** | *25 December 2025* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It is a platform that has become more customizable over time to suit the needs of different companies, and the Cloud version allows companies to save costs.
>
> **Cons**: Migrating from an on-premise environment to a cloud environment can be very complex, especially due to the complexity of the customizations, sometimes leading to the option of starting from scratch in the cloud and performing a partial migration of the on-premise environment.
>
> We have supported several clients in implementing monitoring tools, as well as integrating them with the SAP monitoring tool, in order to have a complete view of the health of the SAP environment.

### "A few challenges, but overall positive" — 4.0/5

> **Amir** | *8 June 2026* | Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: SAP S/4HANA Cloud has become a central part of how we run the business. What I've liked most is that information is generally available when you need it, whether it's inventory, purchasing or financial data. That might sound basic, but it makes planning and decision making much easier. I also like that the platform keeps evolving through regular updates, so it doesn't feel like you're working with a system that's standing still..

>
> Overall, it's been a positive experience. The first few months were probably the toughest as teams were learning new processes and figuring out the best way to work with the system. Once that settled down, things became much smoother. What stands out to me now is that people spend less time questioning information and more time focusing on the actual issue at hand. It's not perfect and there are still areas that could be simpler, but looking back it has delivered value and become an important part of our day to day operations.

### "SAP ERP is still worlds leader" — 5.0/5

> **Jose Alejandro** | *26 March 2019* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: I've been working with SAP ERP for last 5 years, and its a very complete suite for ERP tasks, it had made easier our job, many processes have even been speed-up and upgraded lately, they are faster than before, and its an software very much customizable, and has an good support from all modules Finance, Sales.
>
> **Cons**: Sometimes vendors give you high hopes on this software, and sometimes it has it limits, so i've seen some users that think this was going to be an ultra speed erp, and it is not.

### "GL accountant SAP user" — 4.0/5

> **Olga** | *22 May 2026* | Airlines/Aviation | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It’s stands out because of its surprisingly intuitive interface, which is rare for such complex systems. Even as a first-time SAP user, I found it very easy to navigate and get started without extensive training. The platform offers a wide range of convenient features that streamline the workflow. I especially appreciate the reporting tools; they provide comprehensive data and are very easy to customize, making it simple to get all the necessary insights at a glance.
>
> **Cons**: Although I’ve mentioned before about the reports, there is a downside in format that extracts. It needs further manipulation. The other downside are t-codes. Many of them are nearly identical, differing only by minor nuances, which makes it difficult to find the exact one you need without memorizing them or spending significant time digging through the hierarchy. It feels inefficient to have ten separate codes for almost the same task. It would be much better if the system allowed users to customize or model a single T-code based on specific needs instead of navigating through a cluttered list of similar transactions. Also, exported reports often require manual formatting to become truly usable.
>
> For a GL accountant in general SAP is brilliant for journal postings, preparing data for audit etc. It significantly improves data transparency and helps in maintaining a clear audit trail. This automation reduces the risk of manual errors during month-end closing, allowing for more accurate financial reporting and faster reconciliation process.

### "Centralized Sustainability & Compliance Management with Seamless SAP Integration" — 5.0/5

> **Abhishek** | *2 June 2026* | Warehousing | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Honestly, I didn't expect to be impressed. I've been through enough ERP migrations to know they usually mean months of pain and a system that technically "works" but feels like it was designed by someone who's never actually run a business.

Real-time visibility across the entire business
No more waiting for end-of-day batch reports. Everything — financials, inventory, procurement — updates live. The first time I saw our cash flow position refresh in real time, I genuinely wondered why we had tolerated the old way for so long.
The Fiori interface is actually pleasant to use
I know that sounds like a low bar, but for enterprise software, it's rare. It's clean, role-based, and works just as well on a tablet as on a desktop. New team members picked it up in days, not weeks.
Month-end close became dramatically faster
What used to take our finance team 6–7 days now wraps up in under 3. The automated reconciliation and built-in audit trail cut out hours of manual checking and back-and-forth emails.
Everything is connected — no more data silos
Finance, supply chain, HR, and operations all live in one system. When procurement raises a PO, finance sees it instantly. That kind of alignment used to require three separate tools and a prayer.
Compliance and audit readiness is built in
Regulatory reporting used to be a quarterly scramble. Now the data is always structured, always traceable. Our auditors actually complimented how organized our records were — a first.
Scales with you without major disruption
As we grew, the system grew with us. Adding new entities, new users, new workflows — it handled it without the usual chaos that comes with scaling legacy systems.
>
> **Cons**: Implementation is exhausting
The go-live phase demands more time, budget, and internal resource than you'll plan for. Budget extra — then budget more.
Limited customization
It pushes you toward standard processes. Sometimes you end up adjusting your workflow to fit the software, not the other way around.
Pricing creeps up
The base cost looks manageable until the add-ons and extra modules start stacking. Total cost of ownership is rarely what it first appears.
Support is slow
Complex issues get bounced between tiers for days. A good implementation partner on speed dial is less of a luxury and more of a necessity.
Learning curve for non-tech users
The interface is clean, but SAP's logic takes time to absorb. Expect a rocky first few months for less tech-savvy team members.
Updates can surprise you
SAP controls the release schedule. Most are smooth, but occasionally a workflow shifts without enough warning.
>
> Going into this, I was skeptical. ERP migrations have a reputation for being expensive, disruptive, and ultimately disappointing. SAP S/4HANA Cloud challenged that expectation — not perfectly, but meaningfully.
The first three months were honestly rough. Implementation stretched our team, the learning curve was steeper than the brochure suggested, and there were a few moments where I quietly questioned the decision. That's the truth.
But somewhere around month four, things clicked. Reports that used to take days were ready in minutes. Departments that previously operated in their own bubbles started working off the same data. Month-end close stopped feeling like a crisis.
What I appreciate most looking back is that the system actually changed how we make decisions. We stopped guessing and started responding to real numbers in real time. That shift — from reactive to proactive — is hard to put a price on.
It's not a plug-and-play solution. You need the right implementation partner, strong internal champions, and genuine executive buy-in. Without those three things, even the best software becomes shelfware.
But if you go in prepared? It delivers. Not flashily — quietly, consistently, reliably. And in enterprise software, that's exactly what you need.
Would I do it again? Yes. Knowing what I know now, I'd just do it smarter.
