Great CRM for the money

, to our data migration supervised by [sensitive content hidden], to the support we receive from our Client Success Manager [sensitive content hidden], to the training offered by [sensitive content hidden], we have just been truly amazed by the amount of support we receive and the attention to detail that everyone we have dealt with provides. We know who to contact for what issues and everyone has been quick to respond and help us resolve any issues we may have had. Our previous CRM is no match to this level of customer service.
Pros
We like the user-friendly design that Agencybloc provides. From the client management, to policies, to reports, to tracking activities, it really is super easy to use. We had another CRM prior and they certainly weren't user friendly and it wasn't designed to use for insurance. This platform really makes our jobs, lives, and client interaction and support so much easier!
Cons
It would be nice if it was more user friendly to link email outside of Microsoft to be able to track client interactions. We utilize Gmail and that is our only issue at this time.

Very Impressed
Pros
The most important feature that i enjoy from Agency bloc is the workflow feature that helps me to never miss a sales opportunity from my Medicare prospect list for people turning age 65. This program has already helped me earn commission dollars that would have missed prior to having this CRM.
Cons
The biggest hindrance to the program was the upfront labor and time to transfer my existing data to the program up front. Even with that, the time was well worth the end result .

Our agency has used AgencyBloc for just under 5 years. I am the Office Administrator for our agency and we have 8 agents. I feel that AgencyBloc's highlights are: easy navigation, communication through the activities feature is a valuable feature with our agents working from various locations, and policy information/data storage is a resource for current and past policies. The AgencyBloc Support Team is always available to assist with any questions or needs by phone or the online chat feature.

Extremely User Friendly & A MAJOR Time Saver!
There are too many to list. But, mainly, the fact that our customers are all in one easy spot, and since we have two office locations, all of us are able to access and utilize the program. I personally have saved many, many hours of my work week, as am now able to simply upload most of our commissions directly into Agency Bloc, and don't have to spend my valuable time simply inputting numbers into Excel.
Pros
Before we purchased the Agency Bloc software, I was spending a good majority of my time simply inputting commissions. This was all done by one person (me!), and I was simply not able to keep up with this exhaustive process, and take care of our customers and their respective issues to boot. Since utilizing the commission feature on Agency Bloc, I now have the necessary time to help our customers and spend the time with each and every one of them. No more working nights and/or weekends just to keep my head above water. Also, the customer service that Agency Bloc extends is absolutely beyond compare. Our rep never fails to respond to our pleas for help (regardless of how trivial), and gets back to us the same day, and usually within the hour even. THANK YOU so much! I would highly recommend Agency Bloc to any insurance agency that is looking to streamline and organize their customer base. With AB, you can be as detail oriented as you like, and rest assured that they will be there to assist you 100%.

Unique and Timesaving
We use it to consolidate our fixed insurance commission reports and pay the advisors. This keeps track of sales, trails and even other expenses that we can manually enter. It has solved a lot of issues in trying to provide statements from our office vs. using Excel and having to keep track of everything we need to add and remember to look up (i.e., older insurance trails, etc.). We revised our workflows to make sure the data is entered accurately up front, and then it's smooth sailing.
Pros
The ease of consolidating and reporting information. We replaced our spreadsheets with this and then discovered a lot of additional features that we've gradually started to use as well. This is a great piece of software that's worth every penny... We are small, but the Advisors love the reports compared to what we provided before. And we are no longer spending hours tracking and reporting information for them.

I can't think of anything really. It does a great job at what it's supposed to do. Really it does.

Finding a product that fit so many aspects of what I was looking for was amazing. When I was searching I found several but they were all missing certain features. This was the most comprehensive program I found and I have been very pleased with it.
Pros
This is a great product for client base and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Many basic features are easy to use and efficient. MANY MANY features to fit different needs of how people may manage their own business. Payroll tracking is amazing and ties right to data tracking all in one program.
Cons
Reports are bit cumbersome to set up. Would like to have more ability to share information at different management levels without giving admin access.

AgencyBloc Rocks!
Everyone we have worked with has been great! From the sales demo and getting all our questions answered, to the initial set up, to commission training, etc., everyone has been patient with our hundreds of questions.
Pros
This software program is outstanding! There are too many features to list however, the one that stands out the most is the commission tracker. Just importing commission statements each month and AgencyBloc automating that part of our job is priceless. Instead of searching through statements or spreadsheets, I can quickly run a report in AgencyBloc and see exactly who we are missing commissions for each month.
Cons
As with any software or new program, the least likeable thing is the time it takes to get everything set up and going. Even though this is a "con", I can say since AgencyBloc syncs with another system we use for client data, getting the client and/or carrier information in the system wasn't hard. It just takes some upfront time, as it will with any system.

Perfect Customer database software for the insurance agency.
Pros
It is designed around what information I need to track for my customers so the reports are helpful. I am so glad I am not paying for more than I needed. I looked at Salesforce but it was too much for a small agency like mine. When my general agency recommended Agencybloc, it was perfect.
Cons
The only feature I like least is the reporting. Takes a lot of time to figure out how to get the end result that we need for labels, forms, or other papers. We do not take the time to look at training or call, but I am sure if we did it would help.

Great Program - Easy to Use
We moved from GBS to AgencyBloc in 2016. The difference is night and day. All of our client information is available and easy to search and find. AgencyBloc did a mass transfer of information from GBS to AgencyBloc at the inception of their service. Although there were some updates that had to be done after the fact, the system is very user friendly and we did not lose any information. We like that we can set up scheduled phone calls to clients, and create follow up activities that show up in our dashboards. We also set up the birthday email function so our clients receive a birthday message from us. It has been well received. I feel that the system has much more potential that we have not yet tapped into yet with reporting. Looking forward to using the system to it's fullest potential.

Being able to connect a client with a spouse, a referral partner or a group account is critical for us. The software makes it easy to do all of these.

The best money I have ever spent
I would highly recommend this service to any health and life insurance agents. I do not sell auto and home so I do not know if it would work well with that business. This software doesn't require complicated computer skills to operate. It really has changed my life.

We're a small 2 pers Medicare office, new to AB, getting going was pretty easy just in time...
Pros
What we like the most is it is insurance industry specific and that we are able to tailor it to our specific wants and needs.
The ability to download scans into specific clients files has simplified our startup with AB. Instead of keying in all the old notes I scanned them into pdf's and downloaded those. The same goes with plan analysis and supporting documents.
With AB our client files are now always with us and the hard copies are elsewhere in a secure HIPPA compliant location.
Cons
I often find that what I think I don't like is overturned with some experience and the help desks input.
There is some clumsiness in downloading stored file to attach to emails etc but I'm still finding my way around.

Excellent product and excellent service
We love AgencyBloc!! It is so wonderful to find information regarding our clients in one data storage location. The software has streamlined how and what information we keep track of. What we appreciate most about AgencyBloc is, as they have grown they have not lost sight of what is most important when it comes to software and that is "Customer Service". In the three years since I have been using AB I have always had my questions answered on the first call. Not once has someone had to call me back to resolve an issue. This is huge!!! There is nothing more frustrating than calling customer service and having to leave a voice mail of the problem and then getting a recorded message telling you they will return your call within 24 hours!! Another thing I appreciate about AB is they are very careful and thoughtful about upgrades. When we receive an upgrade, we can count on the fact it has been tested and is tried and true. Thank you so much AgencyBloc Team for providing an excellent product that is dependable and we have great confidence knowing you and your team sincerely care about us and the success of our business.

Pros
The report system is easy to use and everyone in our office is able to run their own reports. The individual detail pages is easy to use and very organized so it is easy to find information fast.
Cons
The email marketing is extremely lacking. There is no spellcheck, the features are limited, and you cannot send test emails. You are unable to change setting for workflows once someone has gone through, so you have to inactivate the workflow and start over anytime you want to make a change. You cannot removed certain fields on pages that are unnecessary to your company.

AgencyBloc is EXACTLY what I need!
I'm a single owner/broker. I became an AgencyBloc customer before I had a single client or a single lead to enter into the database. I knew my business would grow and that I needed to get started properly. Yes, I could have built an Excel spreadsheet, but did I want to track and develop business on the back of my Excel skills? AgencyBloc allowed me to get off the ground quickly so I could focus on my business instead of sorting through or building a CRMish database.
Pros
I realize this sounds like I'm speaking in reverse, but this is only fully realized after utilizing AgencyBloc. AgencyBloc's customer support team is OUTSTANDING. I ask a lot of questions and am always trying to stretch what can be done. The Support team is very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. They understand the concept of what I'm trying to accomplish vs how I sometimes communicate what I'm trying to get done. A solid, built-for-insurance CRM coupled with great support is vital to my business. I didn't need to build from the ground up what I wanted to track. With only a few customizations that I was able to do myself, I was up and running quickly. Even though I'm a small business, I depend on AB, it's the first platform I open each morning.
Cons
My least favorite function is Email Marketing. I say the least favorite with a caveat....I have been using AB's Email Marketing as part of my ongoing marketing for the past 18 months and will continue to do so. It's a bit clunky. Once you understand how it works, it works well. Email marketing is very important to me and I'll continue to use it.

AgencyBloc, Saving us Time.
Overall, our experience is great with AgencyBloc. We are so happy that we are able to utilize this program for what we really need to use it for. Primarily we like to use this program for tracking commissions.
Pros
We really utilize the commission module almost on a daily basis. We like that we are able to make sure that we are compensated for all of our policies. I enjoy being able to run the commission report every month to see which policies we didn't have a payment on. I like the feature of activities on the individual lead page. I use that page to upload a lot of our agents leads on there. It is really nice that as the Admin we are able to look into our agent's business, not to be nosey or intruding, but to reach out to them to see if they need help reaching out to contact leads. We want all of our agents to succeed so being able to have one centralized location of seeing their activity has been a great help. We have 4 new agents using this program. I feel that they generally like the system as well since we see them using it. I enjoyed having someone that we could reach out to personally and would take the time out of their day to help me with any questions, [sensitive content hidden] was a great onboarding instructor. If we couldn't figure out a solution she would find the answer and get back with me.
Cons
I personally feel that there are a few things that could be adjusted better to help us as an agency. One feature that I find slightly annoyed with is that the information doesn't automatically save, that we have to hit save for all the pages. I don't really like the feature where we have a husband and wife both have separate policies and accounts, so I don't want to merge the contact, so I wish I could dismiss that comment on the page and it not ask me that again. Also, my husband is the insurance agent and I am on the administrative side of the company, so it's unfortunate that we can't both be logged into AgencyBloc at the same time under 1 log in. We would have to pay for another user account and we just feel like that expense isn't necessary. I would like the custom fields for the note section to be bigger, sometimes we have so many notes on a client that scrolling through the note field can be tedious.

The product is easy to understand and use. The support team is wonderful and are always there to answer questions and help you understand how to use the product. A lot of nice features and the integration with our Intulse system has been very handy and easier to keep on top of missed calls.
Cons
Trying to learn how to create Workflows had a bit of a learning curve. Not being able to attach links to Workflows is a bit of a bummer. I love the Workflow feature, but they need to be kept to fairly simple text. Thank goodness the AB support team was always there to help and answer our many questions! Integrating the Intulse was a bit confusing to figure out at first.

The Medicare Plan Store Review
I specifically work more in the backend part of our business. I have no idea how well I'm utilizing what functions I know about and if I could be more effective within the system. I have attended many training sessions. Have there been advanced sessions for users who have been using the system for a while. I don't know what I don't know.

I have also requested that some changes in the Commissions Not Received Report would be helpful in following up and resolving those issues

All In One Insurance Solution for Brokers!
AgencyBloc is the single best all-in-one insurance platform out there - and I've used just about all of them as the IT Director for Custom Health Plans. Absolutely any part of the system can be found from a top level search, and the lead system especially has unparalleled versatility for customization. It's even possible to post directly into the CRM, and combined with the autoresponder capability, you can have an instant-deploy message go out the moment a lead comes in. It also has a very Google Calendar-esque notification function built in, so you'll never miss a lead having a birthday or with a policy running out. Last but not least, the staff are super responsive, and listen to agents' requests for new features or tweaks to existing ones. Gary Marr especially on their technical team has been a non-stop asset to our overall online endeavors, and is a true gem within AgencyBloc - having an awesome system is great, but having an awesome system with technicians who care is absolutely stellar.
Pros
Biggest pros are the ease of customization and searchability, and the simplicity of use on any device. The entire CRM is mobile friendly, so even on the go, the whole system is at your fingertips.
Cons
The only real con other than a relatively hefty learning curve (which is expected with this many features) is the lack of a built in rate engine - obviously not a huge deal with so many out there, and if nothing else, it's likely something planned in the future. Regardless, it's easy enough to write a cross-post into a quoting engine AND AgencyBloc without disrupting either one.

AgencyBloc at KHI Solutions
Implementing this in 2011 was a huge undertaking with our separate databases for information and commissions, and our old program did not necessarily play the nicest, but since we've been using it over 8 years now, it is so worth the switch. They have implemented new, useful tools for agencies going to this program since we switched, and it seems like they are always working on new things to make it better. I like being consulted when they are thinking about new items to roll out and how that would affect what we do, or if it is even worth it. Our reps are great and they are always a quick response away from a question or concern.
Pros
I like the web-based platform so we can access it anywhere. Prior to this, we were tethered to a server database. I also like that it is integrated between the database and commissions, as our prior commissions and information databases were not the same.
Cons
Many of my issues with things were learning to use it after we were used to our old database. I know there are some things we don't need or use that I wish you could turn on/off, but that is a VERY minor complaint.

I can not say enough praise for the AgencyBloc support team. I have had extensive conversations and had them walk me through how to create work flows, sales pipelines, and reporting. Everyone I have worked with is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and so very helpful.

The commission upload feature is one of my favorite parts of this program. I had spent two years manually calculating for our office. When I called and spoke to the customer service team, they walked me through how to set it up and how to use it and it has saved me a tremendous amount of time. The newest update that allows for keeping statement dates of the reports within the agent report dates was another bonus.
Cons
The way that the imports works with the existing policies to match them up can be frustrating at times and I would like to see the option (at some point) to be able to do edits on the policy or be able to control the override of information from the import so eliminate the need to go back in and change information back on the policy detail page.

One giant step...
If you are looking for a software system to run an agency that specializes in group life and health and related lines you should take a look at the Agency Bloc product. It is easy to use, fairly inexpensive, and does a great job generating reports and tracking clients. I am very happy I am making the switch.
Pros
Making the decision to change agency management software is extremely difficult but when you run into substantial limitations on functionality it is time to look at alternatives. After switching to Agency Bloc I immediately found that I could generate reports in seconds that took me much longer to generate on my old system. I found the interface to be much more user friendly and service team was there to solve the few minor glitch moments that came up.
Perhaps the most important "Pro" I have found is off site storage. We all know the importance of backing up data and we all think we have taken this important setp. I thought that as well, but my server crashed last week and some of that data that I thought was being backed up was not backed up. My existing agency management firm charged me for rebuilding a couple of files and it took some time to get it done. The information on Agency Bloc was unaffected because it was not stored on the server. This is a real plus.
Cons
For some reason it seems that the people who design these agency systems get carried away with setting up functions that the average agency just does not use. In some cases the information that I would like to see on one centralized screen requires that you either change screens several times or set up a "custom" page where you can put the info you want to see in one place.
I would like to see more "user defined" fields on the main screens but the ability to set up custome fields on some of the pages works with a little effort.

Good Value and overall ease of use.
Pros
Using AgencyBLoc has helped improve our client base and data mining sources. A daily CRM tool to manage our existing client base with LEAD reminder to contact call. Overall very satisfied with 'LIVE CHAT' bar and ongoing support.
Cons
The reminder or "To DUE reminder" sometimes will not notify us of a potential upcoming clients birthday for marketing .....the notification system at times will not recognize certain potential future LEADS for our agency.....

Sales Pipeline
We have been very satisfied with Abloc. Even with work arounds it has very much helped us streamline our daily work flows. And now that the Sales Pipeline is available, we are better able to track our leads even better than we had hoped for.
Pros
We had been looking for a better way to keep track of any and all actions that had occurred on a client's policy. Abloc gave us the ability to track all activities and have an easy way to find the history for any action taken over time.
Cons
Tracking leads was a huge issue for us. We felt hindered on being able to track a lead from first contact to issued policy in a way that worked for us.

Great software with great support.
Pros
I like the fact that it is a cloud based system with the ability to easily add custom fields. I also very much like the built in ability to do mass emails/email-drops as well as some built-in automatic workflow functions. Commission importing is also very easy and time saving. I like the continuous product improvements - most recently the addition of Outlook integration. We have also very much enjoyed the strong customer/product support from AgencyBloc.
Cons
We had used a different software for more than a decade and I may be biased because of that. There is a feature, related to how AgencyBloc has products set up, that I am not keen on. However, it is not a major issue for our work and use of the system.

Will Pay Off 100%
I am extremely happy with my purchase. It came highly recommended and it has meet all of my needs plus some I did not realize that I needed.
Pros
Easy of the product is number one! Yes, you will have to learn some items and how they can work for you but there are video to watch and staff willing to help you out.
Cons
There has not been anything I have not liked about the product. If I need help on something specific their are video training and staff to assist me. It make life easier that I do not have to go this alone.

Great for keeping client information all in one place, it is easy to quickly access the data...
Being web based, it is easy for our company with several remote offices to all use the same data base. It also makes it easy to access information off site as our agents meet with people outside the office on occasion.
Pros
It's fairly strait-forward to use. The way everything is labeled, after a small amount of training we are able to keep multiple users consistent with data entry. This enables more accurate reporting, which in turn helps with other aspects of running our company such as marketing.
Cons
Duplication of information - Policy detail and coverages share several of the same data points.
I question a bit of the accuracy of reports. Recently I pulled up all active clients and updated missing information. Shortly after that a coworker was pulling up several accounts that had missing information. I have also had a couple of coworkers tell me some attached information had disappeared. This has not happened to me, so I have not been able to determine if it was operator error or the program.

Pros
I really like the ease of use. The Main Detail page houses all pertinent client info, and then the tabs at the top make it easy to move to Policies and Activities.
Cons
I have very little to say for what I like least about this software! My only complaint would be that the 1 time it went down, it took almost all day for it to come back up.

Pros
I love how this is setup specifically for Life and Health agents. There are so many customization that can be made, but it already is setup and can be used exactly how it is. There is an endless amount of customized reports that can be ran. This is setup so that if you are a single person or if you are an agency or even if you oversee multiple agencies this is built for it. It is affordable for a month for 1 person to use....Way cheaper than anything else i looked at.
Cons
I use Facebook for marketing/lead generation. Agencybloc is not directly integrated with Facebook. I just currently emailed Agencybloc to get info on how to set this up.

Best Management System for Benefits
I have been using this system since 2013 and will tell you there is no better on the market today. The customer service is second to no one. I call and they respond immediately to most of my issues. What really impresses me is what I jokingly call my Christmas list when i call in with a suggestion. You see if I feel like there is something missing that I would like to see implemented they carefully listen to me and ( not always ) but a lot of times have implemented the idea. We service approximately 45-50,000 employees and around 200 groups with this system. I believe ( and I have investigated ) that this is the best system in the market place that you can use to service your customers. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Can't say there is anything I don't like. We moved to AgencyBloc from another platform about 8 months ago and the transition was painless.
