UKG is an excellent tool for managing employees
Recruiting from a wider pool of candidates has been made easier by the system's seamless integration. This program has helped facilitate a steady stream of qualified applicants, which has decreased the cost per employee and shortened the time to recruit.
Pros
UKG is used for personnel record keeping in my company. To wit: data backup, payroll processing, tax preparation, employee onboarding, and regulatory education. We integrated UKG with our payroll systems and created an easy-to-use portal for employees and management.
Cons
Some systems require lengthy builds and troubleshooting to integrate with. There is room for improvement in how healthcare EMR systems and time management are integrated. There may be a delay in page refresh rates as a result of increased personalization of employee landing pages.

Love UKG!
I was able to experience the various modules offered in UKG from Payroll to Onboarding to Recruitment to Performance. I work mostly with the Payroll Gateway and love the Pending Pay feature.
Pros
I love how easy it is to navigate, both for employees and administrators. I really like the support from the Community to find answers to everyday tasks that I am doing and I love that I learn something new everyday about UKG's functionality
Cons
I do not like that Wage attachments for Canada and ROE's are not sent automatically

Avoid at all costs!
The product is very frustrating and overly complicated. Little user adoption because of it. Their customer representatives aren’t even experts in the product.
Pros
There is very little I could comment on. Perhaps their org chart.
Cons
Not intuitive at all for both administrators and users. Overly complicated. Lack of consistent experience across the system because of multiple acquisitions, horrible customer service and overpriced.

So Far, So Good!
I have only been using UKG at work for the past couple of months.
Pros
The system is very user-friendly, especially if you are not new to HRIS systems.
Cons
I have found the reporting to be a bit cumbersome to pull exactly what I want, but that could be because I am new to using this.

UKG Pro is great
I loved this software. It's an all-in-one app which gives you the opportunity to access everything from one single dashboard. It makes accessing pay stubs, benefits, paid time off, etc easy to access. There's also a section with my employer to continue education.
Pros
What I like most is it's an all-in-one app. Pay stubs, continuing education, benefits information, and time off balances are just a few things that UKG Pro has on it's dashboard. It's very easy to access it all.
Cons
I don't have any cons associated with UKG Pro.

Best for Med/Large Companies
After I learned the system it is now breeze to use. Some of the design and layout do seem outdated. But that is something easy to over look.
Pros
User friendly interface and strong integration capabilities especially for payroll and benefits management.
Cons
It is a bit more expensive than other soft like it. It's better for a large size company.
It does have extensive feature set. So New user may need significant training time.

UKG vs KMC
I have been with the company for over a year and came during the transition time period dating back to 2023. I have had some bumps and worked thru them mostly with the assistance of UKG Team Members. Sometimes I hear the noise about the system and how it doesn't work for them, but if we all slowed down, they would see that the system offers more than we know,
Pros
There are many areas, but the best by far is reporting in BA System.
Cons
Some of our employees have issues when accessing their records, which might mean that either UKG or KMC provide a How To step by step remedy.

UKG Pro does everything you need, if you put in the effort.
I have been pleasantly surprised with UKG Pro. I have experience with a wide variety of tools and I can confidently say that UKG Pro is at the top of my list with a good balance of affordability, ease of administration, and features/modules.
Pros
UKG Pro is a cost effective HCM that provides all bells and whistles...and let's you create bells and whistles of your own (aka configured fields). You can administer it internally without a dedicated engineer and if you are creative enough, you can do some pretty interesting things with it. The options to connect to other systems that leverage HR data is fantastic...and with some many choices, you can make just about any connection happen...
Cons
There are a few areas that I think are lacking, a main one being user interface. The UI is outdated and honestly, a bit overwhelming for infrequent users. I also have the experience of getting excited about implementing a new feature/module only to find some serious limitations (ex. HR Service Delivery does not update the Core data base so you have dual entry issues which is the bane of my existence)

UKG Pro is great… but can we get more reports?
Overall, I love the functionality of UKG products. Timecard corrections/punch corrections are simple and straightforward. However, having a report that I can pull that provides future PTO balances may be helpful. It could be the version that my company uses, but I have not seen this option.
Pros
The ability to view time cards and monitor my team is helpful.

Pros
We have successfully implemented many of the modules. Employee Voice is one of the 'more fun' modules and provides great reporting capabilities for listening to your employees.

Pros
I love how UKG Pro is the HUB for everything. From healthcare information to paystubs. UKG Pro has it all. An all-inclusive HR package covering all processes, and is backed by excellent support.
UKG Pro offers everything we need within a single attendance and workforce management platform. It provides seamless payroll runs, automates various processes, eliminates the need for paper forms, and ensures compliance with governing bodies' regulations.
Pros
UKG Pro truly excels in simplifying payroll and all aspects of HR, from recruiting and timekeeping to careers and benefits. UKG Pro empowers employees to effortlessly track vital information and ensures smooth and quick payroll processing. The system's ease of use and convenient access to required information on a single screen are major advantages. I highly appreciate the level of control and capabilities UKG Pro offers, allowing easy searching and providing a clear focus on driving and achieving goals.
Cons
I appreciate how UKG Pro functionality becomes much smoother with familiarity. However, I believe there is room for improvement in the ticketing system. Implementing a feature that allows us to mark up tickets based on priorities would be beneficial, as it would enable the HR team to prioritize and address urgent tickets more effectively.

Thrilled TO LEAVE UKG!
The worst. Will never go back. It is impossible to find affordable employees who have UKG experience.
Pros
If you have a vast budget, this could be a great product for you. But you absolutely will spend a fortune for all the bells and whistles. Take your existing budget and triple it. Invoices come non-stop.
Cons
The contract is impossible to get out of. The cost goes up by 10% each year and you MUST give an extensive notice or the contract auto renew annually. We got stuck paying for ACA and had to move it to a new company as they prepared ACA filing after we terminated our contract adn they refused to refund us. Be very careful wiht UKG, they make up random charges..invoices come in at every turn. IT is also very difficult to find employees who use and understand UKG, bc they turn all of their laid off staffers into consultants who bill at $200 per hour. Dont bother. I have no idea how this company stay in buisness. We had the worst experience in almost all aspects of the software. You are on an island with help only available at $200 per hour. This company functions like a MLM. Employers beware, you will pay top dollar for employees who understad the software or you will have to resort to consultatants....MLM. Worst business model.

Sold a dream, delivered nothing but problems
The sales team sold us on the software because they touted a support team that would hold our hand from start to finish and make sure we were never left hanging. Instead, we got UKG project managers who were completely disorganized and nonresponsive, our integration feeds took more than 18 months to create, UKG support took weeks or sometimes literal months to answer our questions, and when UKG drops the ball they still make the customer pay the price for it. We have been on this system for 3 years and still do not have all of our benefits feeds working correctly.
Pros
UKGPro has a huge expanse of capabilities and can be highly customized. It's capable of covering most, if not all, needed HR functions.
Cons
You have to be an expert in the system to get everything to work together correctly. UKG's support is abysmal. Reporting is extremely challenging and UKG forces customers to pay for everything they possibly can. We were left waiting for weeks or months for answers during launch. We are now being forced to pay an additional annual cost to update benefits administration because UKG is not updating their software, but of course they're not discounting our normal fees for the software.

Comprehensive HR Solution tool
UKG Pro has been a useful tool for HR process streamlining overall. It provides an extensive feature set that includes payroll and personal administration. Even though it is a little bit complex user experience, the technology has significantly increased the productivity of our process.
Pros
UKG Pro's features including managing teams, a user-friendly interface, seamless integration of payroll, time tracking, and other HR features made it very efficient tool. The robustness and adaptability of the reporting tools significantly increase value in an organization.
Cons

Fantastic Company & Software
Our company still have areas of UKG Pro that are not being fully utilized. However, we hope to work closely with our UKG team in the future in order to use all the various functions of the system. I've only been working with our company for over a year, but I have had a good experience with working within the software. I've noticed that submitting cases online sometimes takes longer to receive a response. However, when I call in with an issue, the UKG service team has always been friendly and has been able to resolve my problem.
Pros
Our company likes UKG Pro because it is an all-inclusive product from hiring our employees, paying our employees, goal-setting, reviews, learning opportunities, and everything in between. We like that all our employees information is housed in one software.
Cons
There are certain areas of UKG Pro that it would be nice to have a process setup to automatically update information on a certain date, such as allocations and local tax changes. We live in Indiana who withholds local taxes as of January 1st. However, when employees move to a different county and submit a new tax form, the request has to be held until the end of the year. We also have several labor allocations that are only for a certain time frame that have to manually updated.

UKG Pro Review
Pros
Cost, their modules, integrations with other systems, the look/feel, user-friendliness of the modules, their security platform, user interface experience, global support and overall organization.
Cons
At the time, we wanted to go with their Ulit-Time Mgmt for timesheets, but they were in the midst of sunsetting that module, so we were forced to move to their Ulti Time and Attendance module. Other than that minor hiccup, there is nothing else that I dislike about UKG Pro.
Reasons for Choosing UKG Pro
We were with Ceridian for 30 years through various variations of their HR/Payroll Web system. It was extremely clunky, not user friendly, hard to pull data as it was extremely customized, the system did not sync with other (newer) systems, it did not support global emps, and in short, it was time to move on to new system.Switched From

UKG Pro The Way to Go?
Pros
We switched to UKG as they were able to provide us with a more robust payroll and timekeeping system in combination with UKG Workforce/Dimensions. In particular we needed the scheduling functionality that Dimensions offered.
Cons
The basic functionality of the system is fairly intuitive, but once you move away from the basic functionality of the system it gets complex and requires a lot of training through the UKG University or monkeying around to figure out. Some of their documentation is outdated. You can tell that some parts of the system were built quick and dirty to get the job done, but lack quality control. For example, there are some fields that you can't see unless you go into the edit view. Support is helpful, though for non urgent matters can be slow at times. We bank with a smaller bank and UKG is not set up to work well with them.

Effective payroll and benefits tool
The transition from a paper-based approach has been revolutionary for our company. The most important advantage is that it allows our managers to see all of their employees' records in one place, make edits, view their timesheets in one place, and generate reports.
Pros
It gives us a consolidated database of accurate employee information. Our most novice technical trainees can utilize it with the same ease as our most seasoned executives. During the rollout, we received excellent assistance.

Pros
I love using UKG pro, it is an extremely fast, responsive and bug free software. It has detailed sections, one about your position, your pay rate, your company, information about taxes as well as access to the organization charts. I like the 'model my pay' feature.
Cons
