No "Jabs" taken at Jabber
I am overall satisfied with Jabber as it allows our organization to work from home/remotely without interruption to our daily business operations. This is a vital component when considering the global transition adoption to remote work as a result of the 2020 pandemic.
Pros
I love the convenience and ease of use with Cisco Jabber. It has all of the features and feel of having a desk phone wherever the app is installed.
Cons
As with any product using VoIP, user experience can vary based on internet connection and speeds.

Software that does what you'd expect it to do
Cisco Jabber will certainly meet the classic need of a company looking for a centralised service for making and receiving calls. However, if you're looking for more advanced functions or higher reliability, you'll have to pass.
Pros
Cicso Jabber is a communication tool that does exactly what you'd expect of it. The calls are clear, the basic functions are easy to learn (even for beginners), the interface is clear and the impact on RAM is almost non-existent.
Cons
Using this service in a claims processing centre, Cisco Jabber was used almost daily. This is where we noticed the limitations of the tool: frequent errors in call transfers, numerous bugs when used intensively in a short space of time, lack of advanced functions (music on hold, definition of call transfer pools in the event of absence, etc.).

Your Small Business Needs This To Run Like A Medium-Sized Enterprise
Pros
My favorite feature about Jabber is how it connects to our CRM and phone systems. Whenever a customer calls in from a phone number saved on their account, their account auto-populates for us in our CRM & we're instantly able to service the customer's needs.
Cons
Nothing. I honestly think every business needs this.

Remote calls
Since Covid, I have been working a hybrid schedule. I have days during the week where I work remote and used this app on my computer frequently to make calls to client's. It's been really useful. I can use it anywhere as long as I have internet.
Pros
You get assigned a number and can easily make calls straight from your computer. This is great if and when you have to work remotely.
Cons
That you have to be connected to internet or WIFI in order to make calls out/receieve them from computer.

Instant Chatting with Jabber
I use it mainly as a quick chat solution for internal situations, but the screen share feature is also a great benefit that has been useful in the past.
Pros
My favorite part of Jabber is the screen sharing functionality. I usually use this feature when the IT help desk is trying to get me out of a digital hole that I've dug. They can show me the steps to follow to complete the task at hand.
Cons
Honestly, the thing I like the least about it is that it runs it's start up sequence automatically whenever I restart my computer. I understand why this needs to happen so that it can run properly, it's just mildly annoying.

Save time and effort in your meetings
It saved us a lot of effort, time and money in communicating between members of the same team and between the teams in general, and we were limited to a lot of interviews to discuss some important topics and the speed of completion
Pros
Easy to use like any chat application, and facilitates communication between employees and between employees and management as well, and helps in organizing conferences or audio or video meetings as well
Cons
Its great dependence on the Internet may make it an obstacle to some people who are in an area with poor or weak coverage, especially in audio and video conversations, as it is not compatible with some old programs, and this hinders the application of its work in some small companies based on old software

A superb end to end communication tool
Cisco as a vendor has a great reputation in the market and they are one of the market leaders when it comes to communication management. My overall experience has been tremendous and I was very content with the quality of features.
Pros
Cisco Jabber is one of the best communication tool for managing the end to end communication requirements of your organisation. It has got variety of features to assist the users in meeting their collaboration needs. The quality of conferencing is amazingly high and screen sharing works flawlessly.
Cons
One of the features with which I struggled with Cisco Jabber is it's calling functionality. In order to call someone externally, a user will have to understand and know the pre-fix numbers to be added. Without that it will not be possible to dial an external number.

No distance can stop web conferencing and team messaging
Well designed and aimed at bringing the change. I have experienced the best.
Pros
This tool has really cultivated for a collaborative environment. It's presence is felt across all the departments through the unifying web conferences we hold every week. Everyone is appreciated and given the opportunity to air their ideas on such meetings. When mass messaging is needed, this software serves as the best platform for that. It is a holistic software with great vision to bring the change.
Cons
With the instant team messaging both voice and video calls, I feel that this software serves it's purpose to satisfaction.

Great for online audio and video usage!!
Pros
I'm a big fan of Cisco Jabber for a few key reasons. The "Two-Way Audio & Video" feature is a game-changer for me. It's like having a face-to-face conversation, even when I'm working remotely. The quality of the audio and video is impressive, making virtual meetings feel natural and clear.
I also love how Cisco Jabber integrates seamlessly with other Cisco products. It's like having a one-stop-shop for all my communication needs—whether it's instant messaging, voice calls, video chats, or screen sharing, I can do it all in one place.
The flexibility to use Cisco Jabber on different devices is a huge plus for me. Whether I'm on my laptop, tablet, or phone, I can stay connected without any hassle. And, of course, the security features make me feel confident that my communications are always protected. Overall, Cisco Jabber is a go-to for efficient and secure communication in my daily work routine.
Cons
While I appreciate Cisco Jabber's features, there are a couple of things that have been a bit tricky for me. The interface was a bit overwhelming at first, and it took some time to get used to all the different functions. I also noticed that it can be a bit demanding on my computer's resources, which sometimes affects its performance, especially on less powerful devices.
Integration with other Cisco products is cool, but for me, who uses a mix of communication tools, it can be a bit less seamless. Sometimes, managing the security features feels a bit complex, and it might not be everyone's cup of tea.
However, these are more like bumps in the road rather than roadblocks. Once you get the hang of it, Cisco Jabber offers a robust communication experience, especially if you're deep into the Cisco ecosystem.

Cisco Jabber, a complete tool for the enterprise Collaboration
I use Jabber but also webex app. Either are very powerful tool that a modern enterprise must have.
Pros
Cisco Jabber is a very simple and intuitive tool. It is suitable in modern enterprise realities to apply a new way to work. Collaboration helps enterprise to became powerful.
Cons
Jabber could be used inside the enterprise network but using Sip trunk or Cisco cloud services it becomes the complete tool to manage audio and video conferencing, chat, ftp sharing and so on. The evolution of Jabber is webex app.

Would never recommend
My overall experience with Cisco Jabber can be described as frustrating. The platform has the potential to but it does not live up to expectations. The platform's interface is clunky and non-intuitive, making it challenging to navigate through its various features. Messaging and real-time notifications frequently suffer from delays and failures, and collaboration tools, such as screen sharing and file sharing get too many glitches. File sharing is slow and and most important of all, video conferencing suffers from really poor video quality, dropping calls, and audio-video synch issues.
Pros
It can have potential. In theory it offers a comprehensive suite of communication and collaboration tools that can be valuable for businesses seeking to streamline their operations and enhance remote work capabilities. Customer service is not too bad either.
Cons
It just feels old. It suffers from plenty of issues, from unreliable messaging & notifications to a simply bad user interface. Too many glitches/crashes for a tool that should be making your work-life balance better.

An all-inclusive and intuitive platform for voice-over IP and video conferencing
We've been using this app for everything from internal communications to client communications to meetings to messaging, and it's been great. The call quality is excellent, and we appreciate the clarity. The customer service is impressive, and all features (chat, texting, and screen sharing) perform as advertised. To date, we have had a positive experience with Jabber.
Pros
We utilize it for video calls and VOIP to bridge communication distances. It works wonderfully and can be accessed from any computer or mobile device. The program's user-friendliness and inherent clarity make it simple to grasp how it functions. It facilitates internal communication and collaboration, allowing us to work more efficiently from any location and on any device while also allowing us to serve our customers better.
Cons
It still has numerous limitations and might use better integration with several third-party programs.

Very simple and basic, focus on chat collaboration
Pros
Cisco Jabber is very easy to use and intuitive, very simple so you can immediately chat and see the status of other users.
Cons
It is very basic, both in layout and in usage. There is no the opportunity of inserting images in the chat (e.g. print screen) or smiles or whatever.
Also, I don't like that much the fact that you cannot see the previous chat maybe in other days since the data and the message are not saved.

The comprehensive unified communication solution to keep my team connected and collaborative.
Communication between team members is more fluid and efficient, which has resulted in greater productivity and collaboration in our projects. Integration with third party applications such as Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendars has further enhanced our planning and time management capabilities. Additionally, the ability to make high-quality voice and video calls has reduced the need for face-to-face meetings, saving time and resources. Overall, Cisco Jabber has been a valuable addition to our workflow and has significantly improved the way we communicate and collaborate in our organization.
Pros
Since I started using Cisco Jabber at work, I have experienced a noticeable improvement in communication and collaboration with my colleagues. I love how the app integrates instant messaging, voice and video calls, and file sharing into one platform. The presence feature allows me to easily see the availability of my teammates, facilitating fast and efficient communication. Plus, Cisco Jabber's compatibility with a wide range of devices and operating systems allows me to stay connected and collaborate no matter where I am.
Cons
Although Cisco Jabber offers a wide range of features, it also has some limitations. I have occasionally experienced stability and performance issues, especially during video conferences. Also, the user interface could be more intuitive, as it is sometimes difficult to find certain features or settings. Finally, to take full advantage of the capabilities of Cisco Jabber, it is necessary to have an adequate Cisco infrastructure, which can be expensive.
