EXCEPTIONAL
EXCEPTIONAL IN ALL REGARDS. There was a learning curve (as with all new systems), and I am continuing to learn, but [sensitive content hidden] have been with us every step of the way...from setting up our invoices to integrations with QuickBooks. The program itself is also very intuitive, which makes errors easy to avoid. For our firm (small-4 members) and needs, the reports are excellent, and easily enable us to gather all information we need each month.
Pros
Ease of use and EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. We have been with TimeSolv for appx. 1 year after using a different system for decades. While all customer service is exceptional, [sensitive content hidden] have been our primary go-tos for all questions. WONDERFUL experience.
Cons
No cons....much better than our prior program.

Love this legal billing program!
Excellent!!! See ratings
Pros
I used to use TimeSlips and would have so many frustrations and errors when sending bills. This system has been a dream for the last 5+ years. It is easy to use (I am not a techy but was able to set it up by myself), simple to input time, and tracking and invoice reviews are a cinch. Love this billing program!!! And the price is insanely reasonable!! Most of all, the customer service is the best in the business. We just miss [sensitive content hidden]!
Cons
-It does not flag past due invoices like TimeSlips did (over 30, 60 etc), so I wouldn't know if I didn't look- There have been glitches with trying to input multiple email addresses for receiving the invoices- Sometimes payments do not show on the invoice. Don't know why. They are recorded but not reflected- When you duplicate a flat rate, it zeroes out the price so we have inadvertently not billed someone for something due to this- We can't figure out how to work the annual billing auto feature for renewals on certain services

Best Legal Billing Software We Have Used
Overall we are very happy with the software. When we have had any issues, the support department has been very responsive and easy to work with.
Pros
The interfaces for time and expense entries are very easy to use. Being able to access the software from anywhere makes it very attractive when we are traveling out of the area for legal matters.
Cons
It would be nice to have a greater ability to modify the invoice templates.

Small law firm usage
frustrating. The report function is critical to how partners are compensated, but not being able to confirm amounts makes it all suspect. Support is not very helpful in this area.
Pros
Inputting time, after some fits and starts, is reasonably straightforward and invoicing is good. We used Timeslips before converting and Timesolv is fine
Cons
Getting meaningful reports is nearly impossible. When I run a report I need to verify the numbers - typically running a different report that should tie-in. They don't tie-in and the support is inadequate. I am told it is because they are different data points, but nowhere is there an explanation. And there are elements that don't make sense, at least to me. For instance, if a client pays a bill which is for more than one matter, each allocation shows the whole check amount and then the allocation. Fine, but why would one need a total of the same check counted multiple times? If a client pays $5,000 and it gets allocated to two matters, the payment total for the client shows $10,000. A cash receipts report shows credit memos as a receipt, which is added to the total received. Last I looked, a credit memo was not a cash item. I also see some payments being counted twice. No one can explain to me why.

Absolutely wonderful. Recommend this billing software to many. Have actually had a firm that I used to work for switch to this because I told them I liked it so much.
Pros
User friendly and the help features. Also, the companies customer service is beyond amazing. I know if I have any issues all i have to do is send an email and I will get a response almost immediately to set up a zoom call to make sure my questions or concerns are fully answered.
Cons
The having to allocate payments. I always forget to do that.

Great option for any business!
Pros
That when you are entering time, you can enter time by day, versus other billing software that require you to do it by Client, at all once. The option to do daily time entries is extremely helpful and allows me to streamline the billing entry process. Their customer service is outstanding, and I like the option to live chat in real-time.
Cons
That some of the customizable features are not available immediately and will go into effect on the next billing cycle. Invoices are also not generated if no time was entered for that period, it would be helpful if they added an option to send out Invoices, even when no billable work was done during the time selected for the remaining invoices.

TIMESOLV is the answer to legal time entry, billing and invoicing
All the support from TimeSolv is incredible and without the nickel and diming. They are very responsive to all my questions and issues. This is a far better timekeeping system than TimeSlips. The conversion was efficient and excellent; no problems whatsoever. I love the ease of use. I jumped right in without much of a learning curve.
Pros
Very intuitive; easy to use and navigate. Great value for the cost
Cons
I have no cons to report thus far. Any issues I had with say, invoicing, were handled through their extenstive resource section and support.

Disliked the fact you had to install software on every computer whose user had to input time. The software would glitch and we would have to pay a lot of money to get things fixed as that cost was not included in the cost of the software. Very satisfied with TimeSolv. Much simpler getting bills out, tracking payments, and monitoring firm productivity.
Pros

Also appreciate the ability to easily track productivity and matter progress. Also, customer support with any questions has been outstanding. 6 month review
Having an affordable real-time billing system and accepting payments through this system is exactly what we needed. I do like that the matters are broken out so the attorneys can see how much time was invested per matter.
Pros
The price was what attracted me to TS in the beginning. I like how the billing statements break out each matter into individual billing sections. [sensitive content hidden] in customer service has been exceptional for my office coordinator to work with in addressing issues we have run into. We have utilized the training videos on numerous occasions and that is a very helpful resource. I like the layout of the financial analytics.
Cons
There are aspects of the software that do not fit our need such as giving a credit for prepaid time at the end of the statement. It seems there have been several occasions where my office coordinator has had to figure out "work arounds". I would like to be able to change font sizes on invoices.

Pros
The ease of creating a new client, creating an invoice, drafting and finalizing.

TimeSolv has allowed me and my coworkers to seamlessly transition to working from home and hybrid work and still maintain our profitabilty.
Pros
I LOVE how organized this has made our company. I truly believe that we catch more billable entries with this software and that ultimately gives us more income.
Cons
The contacts for clients is terrible. I have worked with the tech team many times and it still sucks. That is ok. I also am not that excited about how it also no longer syncs with my quickbooks enterprise so I have to manually put in the invoice amounts and the payments.

TimeSolv gets it done
Compared to other systems that I have used, TimeSolv is head and shoulders above the rest at this time.
Pros
The ease of creating new clients and matters is very beneficial. If work has been started on a new client and the matter is not yet opened, we have the option of using a generic matter until the new client is added and the matter is active.
Cons
There are some necessary steps that are counter-intuitive and therefore, mistakes happen when creating new client matters. Also, it would be great if the system could track the close of the last billing cycle. We close billing at odd times toward month-end, and it is difficult to remember where the new billing cycle begins.

TimeSolv Review
Billing with this program is easy. I like the mass billing, but I don't use it much as I still have to change the files before I submit to insurance companies to comply with their billing standards.
Pros
This product was easy to setup, customer service is great as well. Producing invoices was easy which made the switch seamless.
Cons
I would like to see more form document choices. I came from using Amicus and the choices of codes I had to create form documents was great. I can't create many form documents with the choices I have. I feel that would give this product more marketability. Less time spent on a document that is going to get a write down once submitted to the insurance company for help many attorneys and their staff.

Excellent product, great service, couldn't be hppier
Like most lawyers, I find billing and invoicing to be tedious. It's my least favorite aspect of the business. I used another product (Sage) for many years. It made me pull my hair out with frustration, as everything about it was clunky and difficult to use. TimeSolv is by contrast, easy and even pleasant to use. What a game changer. I highly recommend it.
Pros
TimeSolve is so easy to use!! I like the customer service, too. Though everything about the interface is fairly intuitive, occasionally I need help. Whenever I do, the staff promptly replies, with the information I need clearly stated. It's a great product.

Don't waste your time!
This company is not competent enough to handle our business. They want a bunch personal information from you but when pinned down on why, they have no idea. Just a bunch of drones checking off on a box. When you ask them for a copy of their data protection privacy policies, they clearly have no idea what that is or refuse to provide it. Most likely they are selling your private information to the lowest bidder. When you confront them about, very hostile. I am so glad we caught on to this nightmare before we really started working with them.

Superior to TimeSlips
Pros
I was a loyal TimeSlips user for 20 years, and before that I used TABS. Four years ago, I needed a cloud based billing application with features not offered by TimeSlips. I also wanted an application that had a friendly user interface, could generate reports that I was accustomed to using, would not charge me annual maintenance fees, and could import my historical TimeSlips data. TimeSolv was the answer! I love it.

Pros
I really like how easy it is to add clients, time, and expenses. The Help section is a great feature that I have found very helpful.
Cons
The only thing that I have noticed that is a small nuisance is that when I add a new person to our system (attorney, paralegal, etc..) When I have set up different fees for certain matters, their rates does not automatically adjust and so we don't always notice the difference until we are billing, if we catch it at all which can be an issue if we are billing at the wrong rate.

Incredibly User-Friendly
TimeSolv has been a life saver for our firm! It is faster, easier, more customizable, and less expensive than Tabs3 that we were using--plus the customer service is unheard of in our day and age.
Pros
I love that I can easily navigate the program. I figured how to do all the basic functions I needed within about 10 minutes on my own, without help. If you can do a Google search or use Facebook, you can use this program!
Cons
TimeSolv's conversion team was phenomenal. The difficulty was getting our data converted from Tabs3 because of how we did it (we didn't transfer all data, only some of the attorneys' data). This meant we did have to do some manual data entry to complete the conversion. It would have been great not to have to do that. But it was such a small thing in comparison to all the benefits of TimeSolv. And it was only a one-time thing.

Great, easy-to-use billing software
Pros
It's easy to boot up, easy to use, easy to call up client matters for billing, has a lot of features that come in handy.
Cons
It's a little difficult to figure out what you've already billed on a particular matter, as it seems you have to actually create an invoice to see that info and then delete the invoice once you've reviewed what you want to review.
