That’s most important. Non-technical professionals can now tailor their own AI chatbot without a line of code. That saves us tens of thousands of dollars, opens up new revenue streams for specialists in certain areas and with the custom domains function, could potentially lead to a new business model for both technical and non technical professionals. The webscraper really does work well, and once you revise an answer to the way you would want it to, it generally answers the right way every time. Very exciting integrations and developments planned in the roadmap which will make this an incredible service. > > **Cons**: Data collection is still clunky (eg name and email capture) so we had to take it off at the users request cuz they found it bothersome. The initial prompt bubbles don’t disappear after first use so it take up a lot of screen space which makes it hard to read the actually messages sometimes. The Chatbase team is trying but doesn’t respond to most users questions in the community forum. It’s also been a month since I was told that an issue had been “escalated” and I’ve received no response after several attempts to get an update. The development roadmap is super exciting but lacks timelines so it’s hard to know when some important integrations or developments will come online. They also don’t send periodic update announcements to their clients so you have to check manually whether any improvements have taken place. Last, the API connection doesn’t really allow for historical context to be maintained, so if you want to structure a conversation through service and then bringing in Chatbase on the backend (without building a database to store messages), you’ll run into problems. > > I love this product.
