Updating My Review from March 2024
Very responsive, supportive, and wants to be a true partner to a winery.
Pros
From day 1, the best feature is the personal customer service that you receive. I have always had someone answer the phone without a hold or phone tree. That means I resolve my question quickly and efficiently, especially if the customer is standing right there. The Shipping module on the POS is quick and easy to use. The Wine Club module is one of the best I've used.
Cons
When we started 9 months ago, it was rough around the edges. Huge improvements, new features, etc. have made this a very competitive software in a very short amount of time.

Bottle360 adoption at Bougetz Cellars
The team at Bottle360 have been great to work with. They really assisted in getting my deployment up and running. This included all my historical data, customer information, wine club data and credit cards on file transferred.
This made the adoption of a new product, much more manageable.
As my implementation went live, I have had great communication with their team to help customize my deployment to my needs. They are a top notch team to work with, offering a state of the art product solution, at a reasonable price,.
Pros
There are many reasons why I chose Bottle360 over many of their competitors (Commerce7, WineDirect, OrderPort, Corksy). While many of the competitors had great functionality, none of them could support all my critical requirements other than Bottle360. Here are a few of the critical requirements:
- Support for Wholesale orders. Solution must support payment types like Net30, Net60 as we do sell lots of wine via the wholesale channel
- Website not required to be integrated into the order management system. I cannot believe that some order management systems require this, but I want the ability to integrate my website with the order management system via a simple URL redirect. I do not want to be required to re-implement my website in the order management system's CMS.
- Web service integration. Having the ability to extract data from the order management system programatically, so I can create my own reports, integrate with my warehouse is critical. I was looking for a simple, secure web service interface.
- Web based Point of Sale system. We use a POS in our tasting room, so I was looking for a solution that is browser based, meaning we can run it on any type of device (computer, iPad, phone). Also, the licensing should not be based on the number of device using it (in other words, one single cost for the POS).
- Flat monthly software charge. I don't want a solution that when I sell more, I pay more for the software. I understand transaction processing will scale up as I sell more, but the cost of the software should not scale up.
- Flexible wine club solution that can be tailored to our needs. We allow lots of customization from our wine club members, so we need a flexible solution that can be customized both by the wine club member and the winery.
- Good/accessible customer support. When a problem occurs in the tasting room, I want to know my employee can pick up the phone and talk with someone immediately.
- Mailchimp integration. These days, I expect that marketing integration should be included as part of the basic software offering. Not an added monthly charge.
Cons
As with any software product, you have a large wish list, and you try to find the package that checks the most boxes. Bottle360 is that for me. That being said there are a handful of items that I would like to see in the product (many are now in their product roadmap).
- in Detail sales reports, I would like to see the tax locality (county/city) to assist in filling out monthly excise tax reports.
- I would like to have an integrated reservation system (which is in the works)
- The POS device support is adequate, but would like to see an updated piece of hardware (also in the works).

Exceptional Support and User-Friendly Platform
Pros
I am overly impressed with the level of support and communication with Bottle 360. Whether it's a technical issue or a question about the platform's features, their responsive team is always ready to help. The user-friendly platform was a breeze to work with and has made our operations smoother. Bottle360 has streamlined my client's business operations, making everything from managing an online store to creating and managing a wine club more efficient.
Cons
There is room for improvement in terms of design and aesthetics. I believe that a more modern and visually appealing interface could make the user experience even better.
