Do not use Wati!
I have had a deeply disappointing experience with Wati.io, a company that claims to enable WhatsApp for business. Their complete lack of data integrity and abysmal customer service have been nothing short of shocking. Despite multiple requests—five, to be exact—to delete my data and stop emailing me, Wati.io has continued to flood my inbox with spam. This disregard for my requests is utterly unacceptable.
It's alarming that a company like Meta would associate themselves with such an unprofessional service. Wati.io seems to have no respect for customer privacy or preferences, which is particularly concerning given the sensitive nature of the data they handle. I urge everyone to avoid signing up with Wati.io at all costs. Save yourself the headache and frustration—this company is not worth your time or trust. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH WATI.IO!

3 years of wati
I've been using WATI for 3 years now, and overall, I'm really happy with it. It's simple, solid, and reliable. One suggestion would be to add a warning if there's ever downtime, but apart from that, the service has been great from a technical standpoint. I did notice some gaps in support, but I brought them up, and they were quick to improve, which makes me feel like they're really listening to their users.
They're also putting more effort into teaching users about the new features they're offering, like Knowbot and some of the more technical aspects of Chatbots. I find their broadcasts very reliable, and their chat support is pretty good, too.
There are a few more features I think could be added, and I hope those are in the works. Overall, it's an almost perfect solution for small businesses looking to manage their customers on WhatsApp.

A great WhatsApp integration solution.
When we needed a way to integrate Whatsapp functionality into our win32 Claims management software (Proclaim) I was able to narrow it down to a few for testing.
The RET API Wati have implemented is very good, easy to develop for and works well. The web GUI and template maintenance system is also very easy to use.
I had to use WATI support to troubleshoot a brief outage one time in the last year, but it was resolved quickly. Their support got back to me quickly and communicated well.
I would recommend WATI to anyo9en who wants an out of the box team inbox for Whatsapp, or an easy to implement REST API.

Occasionally a WhatsApp number wont be reachable by WATI, there seems to be no explanation when this happens, but I suspect its the WhatsApp network rather than WATI themselves. Thankfully its quite rare. And WATI reports correctly that it wasn't delivered.

Decent product, fast-worsening support
Overall it started as an exciting project and opportunity, then as prices started going up, Wati started limiting what they're offering in each plan in order to get you to upgrade, and the worse for us is when we need help we just can't reach them any more. So overall experience is highly deteriorating, but being a Business WhatsApp number manager, you are STUCK with them. You can't port business numbers between different Business API providers. So if you wanna switch to a better competitor, you'll have to transition all your customers from one number to another.

It was very easy to set up, and as a small start-up at the time they really did dedicate attention to helping us connect our number, get a green tick etc. Chats are easy to manage, even though not as smooth of a UI as you're used to with WhatsApp.
Cons
Support has gone towards WORSE in the last 2 years since we're using it. We're on a Pro plan, promised with a 24/7 Live support, but they have been using their own automation tools against us basically. You can't reach any live person at all lately, you're just sent in circles using chats. Then chats ask you to email them, which is not what you're paying for when you read 24/7 Live support.

Best platform for Bulk WhatsApp Communication and Chatbot
WATI is very reliable when we use it directly through the platform but the pricing and maintenance charges are relatively on the higher side. Moreover, the prepaid plan makes it difficult to launch sudden high-volume campaigns without recharging.
Pros
The UI of WATI is so easy and convenient to use that it does not require any separate training. Submission of templates for approval on the WATI platform is also a seamless issue. Live data shows delivery, read and replied metrics. Dedicated live agents can handle user queries on the same platform and chats can be marked as resolved. The Chatbot Builder is also fairly easy to use.
Cons
Applying delay of more than 30 seconds is not supported on the Chatbot platform and it becomes increasingly difficult to incorporate delays of several hours in specific business cases (for example when we want to send an automated feedback message to the customer after 8 hours of the user requesting a Service Request).
The clicks data is also not very reliable and the callback report does not get fed to MoEngage properly on integration.

Occasionally the speed of auto replies and chatbot replies is slower than expected and the customer support is not useful as the replies given are always links to articles/documentation already available which is mostly read first and since we were not able to find a solution that is when we contact customer support but it creates a useless loop.

Amazing value for the price paid, I run 30% of my business sales on it, and generate customer love through automated messaging

Convenient, with a clean web interface, really helpful for customer care team with a centralised whatsapp account, possibility to assign agents, great integration of a click-to-whatsapp on our website that clients love, a mobile app to handle request on the go, quick response, template management. And ZAPIER integration to automate all this!
Cons
Mobile app can still improve to have a perfect UI, would also be nice to be able to edit a template directly into wati when it's rejected by facebook

Kickstart your WA Business easily
Wati provided easy plug and play to kickstart your campaigns with most needed integration in place (CRMs).
The onboarding took not more than 24 hours. And our first campaign was running within 48 hours.
The analytics however could be better. They can integrate AI to help correcting message templates especially to enable easy approval process.
Creating short basic bot automation is fairly easy l. However these bots can be very simple and complex functions are not possible.
The support team however can be far far better. Most times the queries are answered with links to DIY articles and videos, which is not helpful.
Analytics is okay for basic insights however the product could have much better functionality to combine analytics across campaigns, run comparative studies and A/B testing within the tool.
Pros
Pretty easy to use admin interface. Bot functionality and integrations are upto the mark.
Cons
Not having an account manager. Though wati has created excellent video content for self learning, an account manager facility would go a long way towards building complex products.

I have been using Wati for 2 years now.
GReat, really really great. It's a must tool for any new business. Opimistion customer operations becomes a piece of cake with Wati. It;s also really user friendly and nothing technical that my team can't handle or setup.
Pros
I have been using Wati for 2 years now. We have built and extensively integrated system with our LMS. We used to send reminder, track attendance, send wallet information, leave information, class joining links, and notes. The consumer reached out to us through Wati for any queries, and we automated 90% of the queries through their inbuilt workflows, and that helped us optmised out cost. With just 1 Customer Suppoer agent, we were able to server almost 1000 students, handling 100 of classes everyday, across 3 different time zone.
Wati is an amazingly powerful tool for any business.
Cons
The payment transaction failed many times, but I think it might be my card issue.
