The ability to scale our business has just been accelerated. > > **Cons**: Staggered product offereing. Create based plans that either include fine tune or do not > > WOW\! It is crazy what the future of AI and video gen looks like ----- ### "Hey gen, a solid avatar tool with more room for improvement" — 4.0/5 > **Anthony** | *7 July 2025* | Entertainment | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: Hey gen has some very realistic avatars. It has one of the best lip sync features i ever seen but despite it being good its not five stars yet but its at least four stars. > > **Cons**: I like how the avatars look realistic in terms of aesthetic and skin tones. So the realism is almost there. > > It's a good avatar tool for product videos. One of the best you can get right now but still need more fine tuning on the lip sync as sometimes the lip sync gets off but i have used many lip sync tools and this one is better than many. Just know however it's not perfect but it's headed in the right direction. ----- ### "Unstable platform and useless support" — 1.0/5 > **Luca** | *2 April 2026* | Hospital & Health Care | Recommendation rating: 0.0/10 > > **Pros**: The user interface is constantly evolving. There are very frequent updates and new features (but it's not certain that this is a positive point if it's not well managed). > > **Cons**: I’m a paying Hygen subscriber and have faced nothing but problems since day one. The platform is unstable, full of bugs, and every update seems to break something new. Latest issue: I spent three days creating an internal training video. After a simple text correction, the new version suddenly included constant keyboard typing sounds throughout the video. The entire project became unusable. The support is completely ineffective. I was passed from one agent to another with no real answers. One agent even told me he couldn’t find anything in their documentation—so I had to send him the link myself to Hygen’s own page explaining that transitions can include special effects like the “typewriter.” That option no longer exists in the interface, meaning it can’t be disabled. The only solution they suggested: start over. Unacceptable for a paid service. Hygen focuses more on self-promotion than on making a stable product. Avoid at all costs ----- ### "Remarkable Video Creations" — 5.0/5 > **Shon** | *3 February 2024* | Health, Wellness & Fitness | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: HeyGen is just a great product, from your first visit on the site onward, you are presented with quality. Nothing is hidden, no searching, the features are right there, easy to use, and tutorials all along the way. First AI site that I have encountered, with such great documentation. > > **Cons**: To be honest, there is always something to critique, I would have liked some more variation in the voices to use with the free side, but I am just being picky. > > Overall, coming from the image generation side, and being someone very plugged into the community, this was such a great experience, mostly because of the ease of use, and the overall amount of documentation and help features. ----- ### "Finally Creating an AI Avatar That Doesn't Suck\!" — 5.0/5 > **Matt** | *24 February 2024* | Professional Training & Coaching | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: The self avatar and voice cloning are the major features that will save a ton of time not having to do a bunch of retakes when doing videos, Not having to worry that the neighbors dog is barking , or the A/C fan is whirling in the middle of you video taping. I can see myself being able to produce video content fast ,accurate , and consistent > > **Cons**: The video rendering time is a bit slow. I understand if you are on a higher tier plan you get a higher priority. To be honest, it's worth the wait\! > > I was blown away on how real my avatar and voice cloning came out. Mine is a bit stiff but that's because I am stiff when reading a script from a teleprompter. I am going to try and create a more relaxed avatar with some general jestering. Can't wait to see what they come up with next\! ----- Page: 1 / 14\ Next: [Next page](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/431517/heygen?page=2) ## Links - [View on SoftwareAdvice](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/431517/heygen) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | en | | | en-AU | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-NZ | | ----- ## Structured Data
