A good accounting and invoicing software for small business

I like it and have been using it for already two years without bugs or errors, I always use it to keep track of all my business accounting

Pros

It is an easy app to store and keep track of all invoices, payments and expenses of a running company.

Cons

Sometimes it can get complicated to understand all the different features and how they work without having to be an actual accountant.

Free & Best Invoicing Tool on the Internet

Overall, it was amazing experience with zoo invoices. I use Zoho invoices for my five companies. Whenever I need to make an invoice, I simply open up Zoho because it has my old business details which it puts automatically on the top of Invoice. This way, I don’t need to type my business details again and again. All I need to do is just select a product from the list and the invoice which is a few minute task. I would highly recommend.

Pros

There is a lot to talk about Zoho invoices. This is one of the best tool to create quality and free invoices online. Zoho invoices is completely free and they don’t charge you a penny to create invoices.

Furthermore, you can choose templates create your listings and discounts and much more.

Not just this, you can save your business details like logo address name etc… so that whenever you create a new invoice, it will fetch your business details automatically.

You can add products and save them in Zoho Invoice so whenever you make another invoice, you don’t need to type again and again all you need to do is select the product from drop-down list.

there are many more features in Zoho Invoice which you can use for your business.

Cons

To be honest, there is nothing bad about Zoho Invoice. Any start-up business who needs an invoicing tool I think Zoho is the best option for them.

Zoho Invoice is Great!

Zoho Invoice has been a great asset to our business. They're the way to go if you want an invoice platform with a almost seamless interface, without paying top dollar.

Pros

Zoho Invoice makes it easy to craft all different types of invoices for my clients. This platform also gives detailed analytics of the invoices, including who's paid and who hasn't paid. On top of everything, this platform is free to use and is on par if not better than similar paid platforms due to the wide array of customization and other features. What's also helpful is the fact that I can craft invoices in different languages. Our restaurant gets a lot of Japanese foreigners so this is a great help.

Cons

There have been times in the past when the platform would experiences glitches, including not being able to sign in.

Review for Efficiency

I am having to deal with the difficulties that I stated above. I am hoping that you can manage the changes required. So far the load is acceptable. I don't have more than 24 invoices all year between all three companies. As things are getting better. I hope that ZOHO can improve and make it easier for me to continue with you. I will be reviewing the Poultry system and if you can help me with that I will manage to convince one of our biggest companies in the country to use it. But issues of currency have to be resolved. Otherwise, they have to resort to locally-made software.

Pros

Simple to prepare the basic in an invoice and free trial for me. I like my 3 small companies in one place and one login.

Cons

I cannot share the same template and change only the Logo part. I cannot share the same customer with my three clients without having to reenter everything about the Customer. I cannot bill different currencies for the same client in different invoices. I cannot have at least two currencies to work with for each company. I cannot issue reports in different currencies for the same activity. I cannot define the currency exchange rate. No mechanism to deal with economies that have changed like Lebanon, Egypt, and Turkey, and there may be more in the future.

It allows you to create invoices digitally and follow up on them, taking care of the entire invoicing system, from the mailing and notification for payment, to the registration of the payment.

Pros

Excellent tool with which it is possible to create digital invoices from customized templates, once you create your template you can easily generate a large number of invoices, organize and edit them if necessary, facilitating the work of invoicing to improve business.

Cons

On the billing system although it is very complete it can be confusing for some new users, it can be difficult to integrate with other platforms, and integration with Zoho tools increases the cost, as these other tools are treated as a premium feature.

Great Software for Sending Professional Invoices

Overall, I have used Zoho Invoice for years and is a great tool for the busy entrepreneur needing to send professional invoices quickly.

Pros

Invoices are customisable to your own brand, very professional looking. Was easy and simple to set up recurring invoices with multiple online payment methods to enable clients different ways to pay. Easy to search for previous invoices and option to record expenses too.

Cons

Support is a little slow to respond which would be my only criticism of this invoicing tool. I personally found support to be very helpful but they can take 2-3 days to initially respond.

My overall experience with this invoicing software was positive as it has provided me a structural framwork to manage invoices and I love its user-friendly interface.

Pros

I love to use Zoho Invoice's due to its ease of use and all the customization options provided by them in the software. With the help of this I was able to send professional invoices quickly along with automatic payment reminders to my customers with different payment gateways.

Cons

What I liked least was its starts lagging sometimes when generating reports and some their were some limitations in the mobile apps as well as compared to the desktop version.

Zoho Saves me time

Overall I really love Zoho. I was able to brand it with my colors and logo. I have auto invoicing, recording of payments and thank you receipts. Such a blessing because there are fewer human errors, I spend less time invoicing and more time tutoring! I get notified when invoices go out and are paid. Lovely!

Pros

I like that I was able to set it up myself with little initial knowledge of invoicing software.

Cons

I don’t like that once you set up a customer, you cannot change the monetary unit they are invoiced in once you have sent one invoice. I wanted to change someone from a yuan to USD but I’d have to delete and re-add them with a new email. That doesn’t work well when you have to ask a client/customer to get a new email just for you.

Great small business/Startup invoicing solution

Easy to use once you're signed up. It's one of the very few cloud applications I use (I'm an on-prem dinosaur for most things) and I appreciate the convenience of anywhere-invoicing for my small business. I do also appreciate the nearly-direct line to product development. I've offered a couple of feature requests and am happy to note that one of them showed up a few months ago. Thanks, Zoho!

Pros

Simplicity and efficiency of the user interface.

Cons

The integrations with other Zoho apps are fine for customers that have standardized on their cloud suite, but the lack of 3rd party integrations (or even an API we could code our own to) make it unwieldy for anyone with more than a few dozen customers. While it's certainly to be expected from a totally-free application, I get a little irritated with the marketing for other Zoho products. Maybe they could tone it down a little for users of other Zoho paid products, like me.

A Freelancer's Dream Come True

Pros

Zoho Invoice is a free online invoicing software that is perfect for small businesses. With this software, you can send invoices with ease from mobile or web and get paid quickly. You can choose from a ton of beautiful and customizable templates, add your logo and even automate recurring invoices. You can also send clients reminders for past-due balances and provide multiple payment options for customers to pay you securely.

My favourite feature is sending quotes for clients to approve and then converting the document to an invoice to bill them at a later date. I also love that I can track the time I spent on a project and bill them per hour. You can conveniently start a timer with your mobile device, laptop or Apple Watch and time will be logged in a calendar format.

You can also use Zoho Invoice to automatically scan expense receipts and calculate your travel expenses with the GPS and see your mileage. It features a dashboard where you can keep track of your business performance with insightful charts and graphs. Your customers also have access to a self-service portal where they can view their invoices or quotes and make payments.

Cons

You can’t produce financial statements.

The best employee payment and salary management as well as business invoices!

Pros

Zoho invoice helps me create business subscription payment invoices and other payment subscriptions. Its compatibility with nodejs helps me streamline the invoice creation and circulation much much easy!!!!

Cons

Zoho was somewhat tricky to use at the beginning as it had so many features and services to set-up, but nothing critical to decline that its the best.

Zoho Invoice; the best so far.

I've tried Quickbooks and FreshBooks but I am sticking with Zoho Invoice for its simplicity and the price is right. Freshbooks was disappointing.

Pros

Easily produces professional invoices and reports for the light user. Faster, simpler and cheaper than the competition. Highly recommended.

Cons

Recurring invoices could be easier. I need to set a manual schedule with a changing number of hours (items). Have not figured that out yet.

Perfect for your invoicing needs

We use Zoho Invoice to send and organize our invoices for a few years and it has worked great for our business.

Pros

Allows us to manage our receivables and send professional looking invoices to our customers.

Cons

We wish that there were more options for payment gateway integrations or a built in payment gateway from Zoho.

My experience is great. I love to be able to do everything i need to do right here.

Pros

I can make my own invoices without making changes or extra fees.

Cons

i can't go mobile yet to make my clients receipts right there when they ask, I have to email them, and they be wanting paper.

Zoho Invoice - Easy to Use and Super Flexible

Pros

Easy to use, simple to get set up with a custom business name and auto-fill details, lots of features that I've not even explored yet - including payment portal!

Cons

PDF generation of invoices is a little convoluted for what I consider to be my number one most used feature. It's also a little annoying to set up invoices for time - I work as a musician and often have to bill people for a "call" or for a few minutes, which is annoying. Maybe if the software could be expanded to make billing people for rented equipment easier too?

It was also quite hard to add on bank details to the invoice.

Don't Let the Name Fool You

Love it. So economical and packed with features. Love Zoho

Pros

Even though Zoho Invoice creates and processes invoices (which is our only main use) it has many other features such as time tracking, estimates, and expenses. Simple software but, at the same time, not so simple that it does not fit our needs perfectly. Not to mention also, the suite of Zoho business solutions. They have thought of everything a business needs

Cons

I really cannot think of anything that I do not like about this program.

Reasons for Choosing Zoho Invoice

I discovered first the Zoho suite of business solutions (which I use many of) and found invoicing. It is easier to use and it (obviously) works perfectly with all other Zoho business solutions

ZOHO is not for free even though say it is

Overall I do enjoy using Zoho because I am a small business and I need some help with my invoicing and accounting.
Last year Zoho told me that they are going to offer their services for free and I still see that on the website but I was debited by Zoho on the 14h of January????

Pros

Zoho really helps me make my invoices look professional and it is user friendly.

Cons

I am unable to link my bank account to zoho invoice because I am based in South Africa. The exchange rate is horrible so the amount I need to pay per transaction for the app that is suggested to connect my bank is too expensive. I can't afford the dollar to South African Rand exchange rate per transaction. SO That means I need to recon everything manually.
Also if a student were to pay and use a different reference would Zoho be able to pick that up?

Zoho Invoice

Is a great invoice system, is free and easy to use. Reporting is easy and the mobile app makes this app one of the best I ever used.

Pros

Zoho Invoice is a great app, fist of all is free to use and has some fine invoice template to use if you don't have any of your own. Creating invoice is very fast and manage them is also easy. It has a nice UI and intuitive design which makes it easy to use.

Cons

In past i had some slow loading times, but happened long time ago.

Excellent and reliable invoicing software

I have had an easy time preparing invoices with the software as it deals with all areas of invoicing and reporting thus making my work efficient and time saving.

Pros

I like the way it allows us to customize templates to meet our preferences. Invoicing has been made easy as we can easily track our estimates and send reminders to the pending payments.

Cons

Free and truly helpful accounting platform

Great! Simple process for creating invoices, tracking expenses and keeping on top of my company's accounting.

Pros

Absolutely FREE to use! It is a very user-friendly platform with easy to get started user experience. It succeeds in meeting all the needs of managing the very basics of accounting like creating and sending a quote, an invoice, and more.

Cons

It does not have a lot of functionalities like Zoho Books nevertheless, it acts as a great free accounting platform with many of the fundamental functions covered.

A good and affordable solution for invoice generation and project time tracking

Overall I was very happy with the years I used Zoho Invoice. It has a simple, easy-to-use interface, plenty of customizability with invoice design, and excellent value.

Pros

I liked that it only had the features I was looking for, and that it wasn't overloaded with extras that I didn't need, which would have increased the price point. This was fantastic entry-level software when my business was still very young, that allowed me to streamline invoice generation for clients. I also used it to keep track of my billable hours on projects.

Cons

Eventually I wanted to level up to software that combined invoicing and time tracking capability with accounting services, and I also wanted to expand the number of users. After researching other options, I decided that Zoho Invoice no longer met my growing needs.

Easy to navigate and use even if you do not have an accounting background

Pros

It tracks everything for you. Auto updates online paid invoices, lets you see at a glance unpaid invoices and how long since they have been pending. Has mobile apps also which work great.

Cons

Can't really complain about anything. Have enjoyed using the product.
