Those partners saw higher conversion and decided not to work with DTC sites many years ago because they would always make more money through Amazon. Affiliate managers can now interact with them and work on specific campaigns. We can pay them more, they have a longer tracking gap, and we can give them bonuses for sponsored campaigns and extra promotions. This was the missing piece in affiliate program management.
