> Most technical equipment hire businesses today have a website that functions as a static catalogue. It shows what is available for hire but it cannot take a booking. &#10;&#10;A customer who wants to rent something calls the business, or emails, or submits an enquiry form and waits for a response. When stock changes, when prices are updated, when a product is discontinued, someone has to update the website separately from the rental management system. &#10;&#10;It rarely happens promptly. The two systems drift apart. The website is almost never fully current.&#10;&#10;This is not a minor inconvenience. It is the structural constraint that limits how a rental business can grow. You cannot scale a business that requires a phone call to complete every transaction.&#10;Circulio removes that constraint entirely.&#10;&#10;The website and the rental management platform are not two systems that talk to each other. They are one system. Product information entered in console appears on the customer facing website immediately. Availability is calculated in real time from actual asset status. &#10;&#10;A customer visiting the site sees what is genuinely available right now, can select a rental duration, add items to an order, pay online and receive a confirmation, without any manual intervention from the hire business.&#10;&#10;The platform's multi channel architecture is what separates Circulio from every other rental management system on the market. &#10;&#10;A single Circulio console can power multiple independently branded rental websites simultaneously. Each channel operates with its own product catalogue, its own pricing structure, its own customer access controls and its own business rules. &#10;&#10;Assets can be dedicated exclusively to one channel, or made available across two or more channels at different rates for different customer types. A trade channel serving professional customers on account and a consumer channel for the general public can operate simultaneously from one platform, each with its own brand identity.&#10;&#10;Kit management in Circulio works in a way no competitor replicates. A kit is a virtual combination of constituent products, and Circulio calculates kit availability dynamically by reading through to the availability of each constituent asset in real time. A hire business with five products that can be combined in five different ways can present twenty five kits on their website without holding twenty five separate products. The kits are virtual. The availability is real.&#10;&#10;Serialised assets are individually tracked items with their own identity, condition record and Bill of Materials. Asset pools are quantity based holdings of undifferentiated items such as cables and connectors, where the customer needs a specific quantity but not specific units. > **Pros**: I liked Circulio most for how they handled the very real challenge of moving us from spreadsheets to a SaaS platform that runs right across the business, from inventory through to invoicing. Their team and developers didn’t just configure a system and walk away; they rolled up their sleeves, worked directly alongside us, and really got into the detail of how we operate. That hands‑on approach made a huge difference in managing the complexity and change management that comes with leaving spreadsheets behind and consolidating everything into one platform.

> **Pros**: Circulio has been a game-changer for our rental business. The platform is incredibly intuitive, making it easy to manage bookings, inventory, and payments all in one place. One of the standout features is how seamlessly the front-end website integrates with the backend system — customers can browse, book, and pay online without needing us to intervene. It's professional, well-designed, and mobile-friendly out of the box. The support team has also been highly responsive and genuinely interested in helping us tailor the platform to our needs.

> **Cons**: The entire experience has been very good, with a very supportive team. If there was one thing I would say was not the easiest integration, it is that the system is geared towards working in the United Kingdom and other European countries, making it a little more difficult for companies not in those regions. In North America, there are unique shipping issues with locations that are exceptionally rural or far away, taking more than one day for delivery. This means that there are some situations we have to override things when the software expects an item to return next day. However, the team at Circulio have been fantastic at addressing our needs - even if we are the only customer facing it - and have adapted the program to allow us to work with their system. They are consistently releasing updates to ease any pains with shipping and are very responsive to help.

Integration with multiple platforms so that everything is in one place - invoicing, shipping, stock availability etc. It really is a one-stop shop for running a hire business

More of a challenge for us as a company operationally than a con of the software itself\!
