Find the right colleague, instantly
Connect integrates with your hospital's corporate directory — Active Directory, Okta, or a similar service — so clinicians can search by name at a site or network level, with no switchboard calls and no roster checking. For shift-based environments such as wards and emergency departments, role-based messaging lets staff contact the Cardiology Registrar, Duty Security Supervisor, or Resus Lead directly, without knowing who is currently on call. Verified handover and takeover of roles maintains unbroken coverage across shift changes.

Secure sharing of clinical media
Clinical photos, videos, documents, and voice notes are shared inside an encrypted container that is completely isolated from personal device content. There is zero risk of data spill into personal camera rolls, galleries, or cloud storage — a critical requirement for hospital data governance. Voice notes of up to one minute suit clinicians who cannot stop to type, or who need to capture sound for diagnostic purposes. PDFs, documents, contacts, and location pins can also be shared.

Critical alerts that break through silence
Automated alerts from hospital and facility systems — nurse call, duress and security, EMR, pharmacy refrigeration, medical gas monitoring, BMS, and fire and smoke detection — are delivered via the Ikonix Message Integration Engine. Priority messages override silent and Do Not Disturb settings, playing a distinctive tone until acknowledged. Users see a feed tailored to their role in a dedicated Alerts tab, so the right notifications surface without noise.

Voice and video calls without exposing personal numbers
Call any directory contact directly through the app. Personal mobile numbers stay private, visible only to authorised users such as switchboard, and Caller ID can be optionally withheld on external calls.
Desktop access extends the same secure environment to workstations, enabling file sharing and chat continuity for staff who move between mobile and desktop during a shift.
