I do love many features about lightroom, speeding up my workflow, consistent batch edits and once you learn the ropes, it's a breeze to use. > > **Cons**: LR just did a major overhaul to their masking and it has been a major upgrade to the previous masking tools. So far I absolutely love it and it is already saving me so many previous headaches in time with masking objects/subjects. I wish they would work on their heal too, it is clunky, slow, and should work more like content-aware in PS, but I'm sure it will eventually get there. :) Nothing that would keep me from using the software. > > I have been a long-time user of Adobe Products and you simply cannot use anything else if you're looking for professional editing software. I pay for the premium monthly pack of the entire adobe suite, all the software plays nice with each other integrating useful features between them all. I love the libraries in PS for editing on repeat clients with tools and styles. ----- ### "Lightroom is all you need to edit" — 5.0/5 > **Jesse** | *15 April 2025* | Photography | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: I love how user friendly, theyre constantly updating, super easy to use on phone, you can easily import to other adobe apps too > > **Cons**: How slowly it syncs between multiple devices or how differently the pictures appear on my phone vs laptop when im editing > > I have enjoyed using it for several years, mostly using it on my phone and it has helped get several photos in magazines. ----- ### "Soooo buggy" — 2.0/5 > **Chris** | *15 September 2023* | Photography | Recommendation rating: 4.0/10 > > **Pros**: Great User interface, solid feature options > > **Cons**: I'm using a new Mac with 16 Ram, just loaded my first job so this Catalog is SMALL and it is very hard to work It wont even hold a filter selection so its basically useless. > > I have been using LR since LR 1. I loved it for years. The move to cloud based functionality while understandable from a Developer-support position has been expensive and extremely frustrating. ----- ### "Adobe Lightroom Review" — 5.0/5 > **Victor** | *2 April 2025* | Marketing & Advertising | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: Adobe Lightroom is one of the best photo editing and organization apps, widely used by professional and enthusiast photographers. It stands out for its intuitive interface, non-destructive editing, and advanced artificial intelligence features. > > **Cons**: Paid plan – Only available with a monthly/annual subscription. Requires internet to sync files to the cloud. Limited editing compared to Photoshop, as it does not allow for layers or deeper manipulations. > > If you're a photographer or want a powerful, no-nonsense editor for professional adjustments, Lightroom is a must-have. For advanced image manipulation, Photoshop might be a better choice. ----- ### "My Experience with Lightroom" — 4.0/5 > **Gregor** | *1 April 2025* | Media Production | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: I use it for its powerful advanced color correction to get the editing for all pics I take from my clients and transmit all their emotions > > **Cons**: I felt some constraints to reach the best achievements compared to Photoshop > > Lightroom is my favorite Adobe app for retouching my clients' photos ----- Page: 1 / 14\ Next: [Next page](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/450542/Adobe-Photoshop-Lightroom?page=2) ## Links - [View on SoftwareAdvice](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/450542/Adobe-Photoshop-Lightroom) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | en | | | en-AU | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-NZ | | ----- ## Structured Data
