Configuration in Threekit starts from whatever the customer provides. That can be a written description, a photo, a voice note or a spec sheet. The AI interprets the input, identifies which product options apply, and asks follow-up questions when details are missing. As the user works in the workspace, the AI assistant tracks what they are looking at and guides them toward a valid build. Product rules validate each selection as the configuration takes shape, flagging incompatible options and enforcing if/then rules and option-selection gates. Options can be found by name, value or SKU. If requirements change partway through, the user revises the configuration and the system checks it against the rules again.

The product catalog stores attributes, options and compatibility rules in one place. Pricing draws from price books and pricing rules that the manufacturer defines, covering line-level rules, per-unit flat discounts, quote-total rules, and control over the order in which rules apply. Role-based pricing visibility means custom roles can hide or show fields like MSRP, dealer cost, margin, discounts, pricing overrides and price book. Pricing explanations respect the same restrictions, so a dealer portal shows only what that dealer is allowed to see.

Once a configuration is priced, Threekit generates a quote PDF with line items inside a dedicated CPQ seller workspace. Quotes can be locked, revised when something changes, and shared individually. The lock-and-revise workflow keeps a clear record of what was agreed and what was updated afterward.

One catalog and one rule set serve three channels: internal sales teams, dealer networks and website visitors. That single source of truth removes the need to maintain separate product data across channels. For deployment, manufacturers can replace their current quoting system entirely or run Threekit in front of an existing CPQ. Configurations hand off to downstream systems as JSON or XML, and the manufacturer's team or integrator builds the connection to ERP, OMS, PIM or other systems. Integrations include Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, Infor CPQ, Configure One, SAP, Shopify, B2B commerce platforms, CRM systems, CMS platforms and DAM tools.

Enterprise access controls include configurable SSO and service accounts with audit trails for automated, non-human actions. Threekit is available on web, API, iOS, Android, Windows and Mac. It serves manufacturers across verticals including AV equipment, building materials, doors and windows, furniture, heavy equipment, medical devices, and industrial automation.
