Where have you been all my life??
great!! You need at least 40 characters so let me also say Stupendous!
Pros
It was what I was looking for something like this for so long, and somehow I stumbled upon Instagantt, and am ELATED! I am early in the adoption process, but so far it does all the things I wanted Asana to do.
Cons
So far the only thing is that I would love the printout to be in a multi-page pdf format so that I can print for the team at a viewable size.

amazing program
It is very intuitiv and easy to use. The quality of the AI descriptions of the workpackages positively surprised me.
Pros
I tried a lot of AI programs to generate a Gantt chart of a scientific research project. This one was by far the fastest, best and most organized. I got surprised by the AI generated task description with correct references which were high quality and very exact to what they actually are.
Cons
I am missing a flow diagram overview. That would support the overall visual overview. And it would be nice if AI could be used as well to generate descriptions for manually generated workpackages.

Feedback from an Architecture PM
Suficient but not impressed. Sometime filling and updating it becomes a chore instead of a tool to help keep track of processes. Its more of a place to do the schedule and set the dates, but not really a flexible project tracker or workload reflection.

Cons
Display, inability to see multiple projects at once, no checklists or integration to Trello or Google suite.

Pros
Much easier to use than MS PROJECT and, for our purposes, just about the same level of power

Quick solution for project planning
Looking for a discounted price to purchase a single user account or 4~6 team account.
Pros
(1) Easy to follow
(2) Data export format
Cons
(1) Gantt chart is not attractive enough! Dependent tasks are connected in a way that they merge with other lines and creates confusion.
(2) I could not furnish columns in the table sequentially as I wished!

Nice software, Not premium, but provides the minimum required
It's okay. I still prefer Smartsheet....
Pros
The ability to draft projects and project timelines by using the tool. The ability to assign resources and add EE into tasks.
Cons
The ability to use it with clients and collaborate using it.
Also, there's an issue where the snapshots and actual Gantt have different item numbers. This is absurd.

Rizzos review
Pros
I'm the only one in my company using this. I use it because I personally find it helpful. It was very easy to get started due to the free trial, and the link to Asana. After using Asana with Instagantt for a while it became clear that I didn't need Asana anymore. So for the past couple years, I've only used Instagantt. For me, the biggest benefit is the visibility of my project timelines and how they affect each other. I will admit that I am not using this software to its fullest. Probably far from it. However, I am interested in learning how and have just recently started inputting estimated hours for my tasks. My goal with that is to see if I'm overbooking myself and to get better an estimating hours for a given task.
Cons
Again, I admit that I need to learn more about Instagantts functionality before criticizing. However, I will say that the user interface feels....clunky. I wish I could be more elegant with my response but it is a bit difficult to learn how to use at first. I find myself doing things a certain way because that's what I've found work for me. However, I'm not confident that's the best way to do it. It "easy" to input a project and add tasks and move things around. But having lots of flexibility inside a software can be a double-edged sword. Often I find myself being overwhelmed at all of the selections and options I have.

Instagantt Review - Digital Media Agency
Amazing! I love this product.
I was appointed in a position where they don't have any PM processes or software in place. I suggested other software products first. Once I tested this and simulated projects on Instagantt, I told our management team that this is what I will use going forward.
It is really inexpensive compared to other products on the marker.
Pros
Instagantt offers so much more as soon as you start playing around with it. It is one of the most powerful Project Management Tools that I've come across.
It is super easy to use and can be customised to what you need it to look like.
in our world no project is the same, which means we have to adapt and switch between PM Methodologies from project to project. Instagantt makes this really easy with the Gantt and Board views.
I like the customisation of the columns on the gantt view.
Reporting is really easy.
Instagantt is also a great way of tracking project budgets.
Cons
the only thing that I will change is to be able to export the board view as well.

Intuitive Project Scheduling
Pros
Before Instagantt I was using Google Sheets to build schedules. I was tired of trying to build my own gantt chart with dependencies and a real-time link between the list of events and the timeline. Instagantt automates those tasks and makes scheduling much simpler.
Cons
It's not Instagantt's fault, but sometimes schedules get so overwhelming. The product has improved significantly over the ~4 years that I've used it. Recently, I've begun to utilize the "tag" feature to help me filter the schedule into more manageable chunks.

Need Custom Fields to be Impactful
Pros
overall easy to use. good timeline view that's compact and easy to see quite a few things all together
Cons
the BIGGEST gap that we need is more custom fields. I want to use the Asana Instagantt integration - however it's not of any use unless we can import the custom fields over from Asana. That's how we can filter the work by important data points we use internally. It looses it's value without that.

Looked into several Gantt options, decision based on price & simplicity but miss a few...
I settled for Instagantt after reviewing many options, based on its price and interface.
It works well but I still fear that using it with a larger team could be problematic. Will have to try an see how that goes.
Pros
First I'd like to mention that I use Instagantt to plan with Gantt charts only. Not as a management software because I think it would be too scarce for that for even a small size team.
I like its price, simplicity and interface. Looked around into many and found this one to be easy to read and has a fairly compact view which I appreciate because it allows to see the big picture of the plan in one screen (most other options have extremely large o wide lines that allow you to see only a few tasks at a time). I like it is not over featured but has almost enough to work very well.
I started using it as an Asana add-on but eventually we dropped Asana for Microsoft Teams and kept Instagantt as a stand alone app because Microsoft's Gantt options are far more expensive or extremely simple compared to Instagantt . That said, I do wish Instagantt could be integrated with Microsoft Teams and Task apps.
Cons
I don't like that it has almost no security options, meaning any user could easily erase or modify the plan -if not careful- and it is extremely difficult if not almost impossible to reconstruct it well. I don't like it has no way to track back the changes or information on who did what and when.
Even when it is possible to create Baselines, it is too easy to erase them by any user and there is no option to lock that. The "undo" option works in strange ways sometimes and it will redo some moves but not others.
Although there is a mobile view, it is almost useless: you can see a plan but it's so difficult to modify it on the go that it basically works to see very basic information only.

More Features Please!
I have made Instagantt a hugely important piece of software for my workflow. If it was more suited for my industry, I believe more people would use it. It is buggy and I have to reload the page more times than I would like, but what you have created is critical to what I do. It is amazing. I think there is a bunch of work that could be done to help instagantt stand on its own, at least in my industry. I would love to chat more about that if you have 30 minutes.
Pros
Seeing our entire post production slate for is incredibly powerful when needing to make quick decisions on the fly. I can see a huge amount of data with a fair amount of ease.
Cons
Legibility. One of the biggest problems I have is being able to translate the gantt into a customer friendly version. When exporting snapshots, I would like the ability to just show specific data points. Instagantt is great to plan the backend, but when I need to send the plan to a customer, it is too cumbersome.
Another BIG issue I have is figuring out where one project starts and ends, due to the title of the project being as small as any column/section made in Asana. If the titles of projects were slightly bigger or bolder, I would spend less time trying to see where I need to pop something open with the plus button or not.
A small issue is that when I change the title in instagantt, it does not change in Asana.

bang for buck
is good with decent developer vision. It is small price for many excellent features. it does not get pretentious about developing flashy and frankly moronic features as many other similar products develop, as if made for kids. instagantt keeps it on a professional, albeit basic, level.
Pros
easy overview of several projects and easy task planning and rearranging.
Cons
Colums, As all other gantt chart programs it lack formula functionality between colum values. it sohuld work like and excel sheet with some added gantt chart functions.

Using instagantt it is easier to track the overall schedule of the project and analyze the workload of the resources involved.

A perfect visual complement for project management.
Very good, it allows to see the relationships between tasks and inconsistencies if there are any.
Pros
I also work with Asana, the combination of both is perfect. For Instagantt, it is the visual aspect that is very good, and that offers easily the possibility to modify tasks and relationships between them.
Cons
Importing results into Excel or Power Point is not easy and the result is not at the right level to make a presentation. In addition, the summary of the project must be improved to better see the critical path.

Review from an AEC User
Waht we use this app for it is super efficient and satisfies our needs.
I could imagine that "hardcore" task oriented users might have different opinion but for a midsize engineering company for project planning/visualization it works very well.
Another idea would be the integration into MS Teams and connect it to the TO-DO of teams. Microsoft has MS project which is horrible to use and not interactive/integrated at all. More and more companies transfer to a full Microsoft integration and a proper Gantt Chart app is missing.
Pros
Since we were looking for a Gantt Chart App that is easy to incorporate into ASANA and vizualizing Project Schedules we are very happy with the functionality of InstaGantt.
In the AEC world it is more about project planning for phases rather than individual task assignments and tracking.
We like the free version of it since with the max. of 3 project this is very sufficient for us.
Cons
Sometimes laggy if you try redoing some steps.
The "follow" function by dragging does not always work.

Delivery Manager 1st time user
(see bits in my previous entry) - Overall good.
Where I regularly become a bit stuck was when generating a snapshop view and link appeared in my browser, I couldn't instantly know the difference and had to be careful when copying and pasting the snapshot link into my reports, that I was not copying across the working file. The ONLY visible difference is the little cog icon next to the project name. This I only clicked to look for later. I would want to suggest perhaps a subtle background color change at the very top panel when seeing a snapshot.
Pros
Enjoyed the snapshot tool.
The information displayed across the date line, week number, the punchy current day in red and the fact that it instantly highlights the duration of a task or group on roll-over ...all very good. Especially when working on multiple stacked workstreams in a waterfall approach.
Cons
UI - sorry, but I am a fan of Teamgantt with it's more open UI. I feel more confident sharing timing plans with design team using teamgantt than Instagantt. That said, you have hit that middle between IMO Smartsheet being pretty horrible and Teamgantt being my 1st choice tool.
Can't show more than one phase for a workstream on the same line, forcing you to stack creating deep charts. This I know is an almost impossible thing to solve in a gantt chart but when wanting to show a client a compressed quick view of a program, Program Managers often rebuild the plan in a sheet.

My experience has been very user friendly, the Gantt chart is easy to manipulate to have it look the way you want it to and the export process is also straightforward and simple.
Pros
I love that Instagantt integrates seamlessly with Asana. Updates to your project appear instantly in either app. The Gantt charts are high quality and look great, they are perfect to send to client as a schedule update on a project and look much nicer than the gantt charts in Asana.

Intagantt Scheduling
Pros
Really easy to drag and drop our work from one day to another, or even from one operation to another. Easy to visualise and prioritise the jobs.
Cons
It would be nice to be able to allow weekend work; currently I cannot schedule tasks for Saturday, despite us working that day. I'd also like to be able to make some days public holidays where no tasks can be scheduled, in case I forget it's a holiday and have work scheduled that day.
We would have a much larger user base if it wasn't only days and weeks available on the scale, but hours; if you could add the ability to schedule jobs within a workday - and customize the start and end time of a workday - then we would have a much broader user base.

Love the Gantt Chart Feature
Great experience and loved the free trial. So glad I stumbled across this on google!
Pros
The visual aspect of instagantt is great. Being able to see the task, dates, duration, and gantt in all one view. This is the only web based tool right now that has this feature on point. Asana does not have this and its hard to export and show to management if need be. The only other tool I am able to make this work and look comprehensive is excel...so great job!
Cons
