Risk and compliance leaders at general contractors, real estate owners and property management firms, and public entities. What makes it different

Most tools in this category track documents. Docutrax reads them. Every review is performed by licensed P\&C insurance professionals, and construction risk work is handled by CRIS-certified specialists. That distinction matters because a certificate of insurance is a summary, not the policy. It cannot show you an exclusion, and it does not confer the additional insured status it appears to describe. A tracking tool will record a certificate as received. A licensed reviewer will tell you whether the coverage you contracted for is actually in force.

Choose your depth, and choose your workload

Two decisions define an engagement. How deep should the review go, and how much of the compliance function should Docutrax run.

Review depth runs across three levels. Certificate review confirms limits, effective dates and coverage lines against your requirements. Endorsement review goes to the endorsement forms themselves to verify additional insured, waiver of subrogation and primary and non-contributory status. Comprehensive policy review is a forensic read of the policy form for exclusions and coverage response conditions on your highest exposure relationships.

Service level runs across three tiers. Self service means your team operates the platform. Expert review means you collect and Docutrax evaluates. Managed compliance means Docutrax runs the operation end to end, including direct contact with the third party and their broker or agent until the deficiency is resolved.

Requirements are configured to your contracts, by entity, property or project, so a high risk trade and a landscaping vendor are not held to the same standard.

Where the line sits

Docutrax surfaces the facts, administers the workflow, documents exemptions and coordinates escalation. Decisions about whether to accept, waive or enforce a requirement remain with you. Docutrax does not act as your broker and does not give you coverage advice.

Every account has a dedicated US based account manager, reachable by phone and email, not a ticket queue. Implementation covers requirements configuration, migration of your existing third-party records and stakeholder onboarding. > **Pros**: I really liked that i was able to hover over a sub and see what they didn't have complaint. i really enjoyed the feature of being able to add documents to already filed stuff as we have multiple times that an additional document can clarify things but you don't want it  filed separately...

> **Cons**: I wasn't able to edit a document info once filed if I missed writing down any info I had to file the document from scratch and delete the original filing...
