Comparedwith other softwares, its easiness to use gives it a plus. It also helps the reports and charts it automatically creates. You can even automate to receive reports whenever you want, as well alerts to your email. > > **Cons**: The inability to check in real time the fuel consumption. You can calculate it by multiplying the fuel consumption per mile x the distance, but other products install a sensor and you can check in real time the fuel performance. This feature can help in controlling any fuel robbery or leakage. Other thing was that the price was very high to compete in the latin american market > > I worked between 2009 - 2012 as a sales advisor for trimble´s dealer in Honduras. Since the price was way high compared with the competition, we started offering it as a plus service, whenever someone bought a truck or a heavy equipment machine. It made our customers happy to know that they were getting a gps system included in their purshace. They are one of the major reasons we have stay with Platform Science. > > **Cons**: Since the takeover of PS they seem to roll new things out before properly vetting them. Nothing that they have not fixed but wish they would slow down until they are sure new updates are working correctly. > > Good overall. Waiting to see what new innovation that can improve them system. The system has been stable with only a few issues nothing major. The support is what makes the difference. All the ELD system are basically the same. It is User friendly and has been adopted well by our Drivers - we're hearing little overall negative feedback on the use of our PS tablets. > > **Cons**: PS Nav has not been a reliable GPS tool - we've had several instances of Drivers being mis-routed or sent into no-truck environments. It is a potential serious safety / compliance issue and a significant drain on Driver satisfaction. > > Generally, the PS team has been awesome to work with. We would like to see more traction on on-off projects we're working on. The tablet-based platform is working well overall with the exception of PS Nav that we struggle with. Overall, our it has been received well by our Drivers, Ops team, Safety department and all other stake holders.
