QB Enterprise is a great product that allows me to manage multiple companies. I like the ease of creating estimates and the follow through work flow. Items are easily managed through this software.

QuickBooks Enterprise is a must for all Accountants.
Overall, QuickBooks is a very useful tool in my accounting profession. I have learned to track my customers' details, transactions, and historical data. These interactions make it easy for me to carry out my audit.
Pros
I like how QuickBooks allows me to open a new company profile for practice without interfering with my business data. I also like how this system allows me to extract files to MS Excel files.
Cons
Whilst QuickBooks is easy to use and operate, it requires intensive training and diligence to avoid interfering with the hygiene of stored data.

The Ultimate Guide to QuickBooks
for me It's important for us to note that the overall experience with QuickBooks Enterprise can vary depending on individual business needs and user preferences. For me I find the software to be powerful and reliable, while others may experience challenges with the learning curve or specific features. Based on my business requirements and consider factors such as cost, complexity, and support options are impressive.
Pros
Advanced Inventory Management: QuickBooks Enterprise includes advanced inventory management features, such as barcode scanning, serial number tracking, and FIFO costing. These tools help businesses efficiently track and manage their inventory, reducing errors and improving accuracy.
Cons
Cost: QuickBooks Enterprise is more costly compared to other QuickBooks versions. The software requires an annual subscription and the price increases based on the number of users and additional features needed. This cost can be a barrier for small businesses with limited budgets.
Complexity: QuickBooks Enterprise is a robust software with advanced features, which can make it more complex and overwhelming for users who are not familiar with accounting software. Some users find the learning curve to be steeper compared to other QuickBooks versions.

QuickBooks Enterprise: Fundamental for Effective and Adaptable Monetary Administration.
My general involvement in QuickBooks Enterprise has been positive. It offers a broad set-up of gadgets that smooth out money related organization, redesign enumerating limits, and work on useful efficiency. While the cost can be higher and a couple of features may be marvelous, the energetic value and flexibility make it a significant asset for associations looking for areas of strength for an organization plan.
Pros
I like most the comprehensive financial administration highlights, including progressed detailing, adjustable invoicing, and vigorous client the executives apparatuses, which upgrade precision and effectiveness for business tasks.
Cons
The least liked part of QuickBooks Enterprise is its greater expense contrasted with different choices, which might be a boundary for more modest organizations, and the intricacy of a few high level elements.

Excellent Product
I have had a mostly positive experience with QB enterprise. It's good that there is a great website to find out most things that you need to know when troubleshooting, as customer service/tech support is basically useless.
Pros
I like that it integrates with 3rd party software easily
Cons
I dislike that I cannot pull a balance sheet report by class. I use the class function for fund reporting and if I receive funds into the P&L they will sit there unused if they are for capital items.

Non-Profit Review
At Angels of America's Fallen, QuickBooks Enterprise has become indispensable in our daily operations. The most significant benefit we've experienced is the program's robust and comprehensive financial management capabilities. It has allowed us to easily track and manage our grants and payments, ensuring that every dollar is accounted for and reported accurately.
We particularly appreciate the user-friendly interface, which simplifies complex tasks and makes it accessible for our team, even those with limited accounting experience. Generating detailed financial reports with just a few clicks has been invaluable for our grant reporting and internal audits.
Another highlight is the customization options, which allow us to tailor the program to meet our organization's specific needs. This flexibility has made it possible to manage our finances more effectively and efficiently. The seamless integration with other tools we use has also streamlined our workflow, saving us time and effort.
Overall, QuickBooks Enterprise has been a game-changer for us, and we highly recommend it to other non-profits looking for a reliable and robust financial management solution.
Pros
Pros:
User-friendly interface
Robust financial management and reporting
Customization options tailored to organizational needs
Integration with other tools
Cons
We don't currently have any cons. We will soon begin using an integration with our CRM, and we hope it will be even more efficient!

Terrible software-- please avoid
I've worked with QBE at many places over the years. It's consistently some of the buggiest software I've seen, and it requires frequent restarts. The price balloons yearly, and I've had Intuit support cause irreparable damage to company files on more than one occasion.
Pros
The absolute only good thing I can say about Quickbooks Enterprise is that it is easy to use.
Cons
It is buggy, it is expensive, it gets more expensive every year, and Intuit support is terrible.

My overall experience with QuickBooks Enterprise
My overall experience with QuickBooks Enterprise was positive. It took some time to get used to, but with time I learned how it can be helpful for handling complex accounting needs as well.
Pros
Actually when I started using QuickBooks Enterprise’s this in my previous organisation, it was new for me but somehow I was able to manage it why I like this because of its advanced features like inventory management, customizable reports, and the ability to handle large data.
Cons
I think it can be a bit overwhelming for new users, and the cost is also quite high as compared to other accounting software.

So Happy With This Software
Great experience. Running a business has not been easier than with QuickBooks. I love the versatility of the software and all of the features that you can utilize for a better experience. Truly one of the best accounting software apps you can run a business from. You can also track home expenses from it, which I thought was a nice feature as well.
Pros
Excellent for running your own business and working with payroll. Invoicing is a breeze. Reports run great. The inventory management is better than I imagined.
Cons
I can't think of anything off the top of my head. Sometimes if you don't keep up with it, things can get a little overwhelming. Maybe just needs to working with as far as layout of the software goes?

Hmmmm... Take some time to plan.
If you are going to use QB Desktop Enterprise, PLEASE make sure you plan ahead for things such as inventory control issues like units of measure. How do you purchase your products vs how to you consume/sell them. We run the manufacturing edition, so we have experienced some challenges with this.
Pros
Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise is good, there is no doubt about that. It is relatively straightforward to use and maintain. It has a lot of functionality and features that are very beneficial.
Cons
Where do I start? One of the issues that we encounter is every time there is an update, it seems to break the Database Manger. We looked at switching to Quickbooks Online Advanced to make things easier, but it is VERY lacking in comparison. QB Desktop Enterprise, in most cases, is hosted locally. This leads to issues with server and maintenance. The features are very antiquated compared to other online options that are currently available.

Affordable but Lacking in Features
Overall, I find QuickBooks Enterprise to be effective for basic tasks such as invoicing, bank reconciliation, and payroll. The pricing is also a major advantage, making it an affordable option for many businesses. However, there are significant limitations when it comes to advanced reporting and managerial reporting, which may not meet the needs of businesses looking for more in-depth analysis and customization.
Pros
As my company is an accounting firm, I deal with quickbook from time to time. What I liked most about QuickBooks Enterprise is its affordability for our clients compared to other accounting software options. This makes it a cost-effective solution for our clients looking to manage their finances without breaking the bank. Also, QuickBooks Enterprise has an intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface, making it accessible even for users with limited accounting experience.
Cons
The software lacks robust options for designing and customizing reports to suit specific business needs.
It falls short when it comes to advanced analytical features, making it less effective for in-depth financial analysis and decision-making.

I am happy with QuickBooks Enterprise
Performance-wise, QuickBooks Enterprise runs efficiently, but there may be occasional lag when handling large volumes of data. While it offers excellent customer support, response times can vary.
In summary, QuickBooks Enterprise is a powerful tool for managing complex accounting needs, though users should be prepared for a bit of a learning curve and consider data backup practices for peace of mind.
Pros
software designed to help you manage your accounting and business needs efficiently and with ease
Cons
"Transitioning from the online version to the desktop version can be challenging. Additionally, the lack of automatic data backup poses a risk of potential data loss."

A must to try
Overall, they offer a program that is not online, making it safer. Additionally, they provide all the options I need for bookkeeping.
Pros
Their system is very easy to understand. What I like best is that their reports are quite comprehensive; you can create all kinds of reports and find all information very clearly.
Cons
However, their customer service was not as impressive. Whenever I encountered a problem, there was no one to speak to directly; I could only reach out via email, which wasn't very helpful. Additionally, I faced another issue: I initially had only 10 users but needed to add more. The only available option was to add another 20 users, which ended up being quite pricey since there was no way to add just another 10.

QuickBooks Review by customers viewpoint
Everything is more secure when using cloud services. One of the best things is that you won't have to buy an upgrade every year. Because of the size of our company, even though the online version isn't as functional as the desktop version, it still serves our needs perfectly. There are lots of YouTube videos and useful tutorials to help you solve any issue you may be having.
Pros
It's simple to always have the most recent edition and required updates with QB's online version. The file sharing features are just what the accountant needs to exchange data without any hassles and to maintain your books and file your taxes. If necessary, quickbook loan funding is easily accessible and QB payroll is accessible via the software. Access at any time and from any location is advantageous.
Cons
It can be unreliable, particularly if you choose not to use the automations. When you mark these "tasks" as completed, it tells you that there is no task because, for example, it keeps telling you that you haven't completed the AI payroll and tax payments. The inability to use automated payroll or taxes if you pay overtime makes this a frustrating situation with little way to get around it. They try to force you to use these automations, but problems like these stop them and make it impossible for you to verify that all the numbers are entered accurately. Furthermore, Quickbooks attempts to steer you toward chatbots and AI-assisted responses even when they are unable to provide you with solutions.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is a very solid software overall.
My overall experience with QuickBooks Enterprise was a good one but only because I have had quite a bit of experience with other software such as Excel. I would also say that QuickBooks Enterprise is very user friendly.
However, I think that they should have parts and pieces set up for basic users because the interface is quite broad and if you are just beginning you can definitely get lost with all the additional features.
Pros
The feature that I liked the most about QuickBooks Enterprise was the ability to use more than one option to access clients information. You could access clients information from more than one area of your dashboard.
Cons
My last client was a CPA firm . As I was working on my client's software I noticed that they were bookkeeping for other companies and they had made quite a few mistakes on the categorization parts. It took a lot of time to recategorize and fix the mistakes that they often made. I would give the categorization features a 3.5 star rating at best. I think that an AI component would be very helpful in this area.

Great Power, But Complex
It’s a solid choice for larger businesses, but it might leave smaller ones feeling lost. Once you get comfortable, though, it’s incredibly effective.
Pros
QuickBooks Enterprise is a powerhouse for managing finances. Customization and scalability are top-notch, and the reporting tools are a dream for decision-making. The support team is reliable, which is a relief.
Cons
It’s not for the faint of heart. The interface is overwhelming, and the learning curve is steep. Also, the cost can be a barrier for small businesses, especially when you don’t need all the bells and whistles.

"Comprehensive but Complex: A Powerful Tool for Large Businesses"
QuickBooks Enterprise is a powerful and comprehensive accounting solution ideal for medium to large businesses with complex needs. While it offers advanced features and robust tools, its high cost, steep learning curve, and desktop-based nature may pose challenges, making it more suitable for organizations that can fully utilize its capabilities.
Pros
QuickBooks Enterprise is a robust accounting solution ideal for medium to large businesses. It offers advanced reporting, scalability, industry-specific tools, enhanced inventory management, detailed user permissions, and seamless integration with other business systems. These features make it a powerful choice for organizations with complex financial needs.
Cons

is it worth buying in 2024
We are a small business and have been using Quick Books since 1997. When you could buy a software package for $300. Now I know everything goes up. So as we have grown, we went to Quickbooks on line. We went from one user subscription to a five-user subscription. When we were a one-user subscription, we had everything Quickbooks offers, from invoicing to purchase orders to inventory control. to banking—everything you need from a basic accounting software. Now we don’t need a 5-user subscription anymore, but if you go back to a 3-user subscription, you lose basic software components. My recommendation is to stay away from Quickbooks; they just care about reaching into your pocket and taking your profits. Not the company it once was. F Quickbooks
Pros
User friendly design that is easy to learn and navigate, great for invoicing people as well as paying invoices, good organization of invoices and payments.
Cons
No recourse through customer service. Data is held hostage as leverage for stopping cancellation of unauthorized charges, ie: sure you can cancel but we're not sure what will happen to your data.

CAUTION Bad Service and Confidentiality Breach CANNOT RECCOMMEND
I need to CAUTION professional bookkeepers in using QBO and having multiple client, just recently I noted that in Accounts Settings that if you added a logo to a client it changed all clients logos, this is a real breach of confidentiality as keeping your client information even their logos confidential from other clients is paramount. Their technician did not take this seriously and said it may be weeks before they even review this problem. What other information may be crossing clients? I have had other "glitches" with QBO that were never resolved and they just end up to never get back to you when problems arise, like another issue I had with them trying to integrate Square. I do not trust them

Very pleased with QuickBooks desktop
It keeps information accurately, updates instantly, transaction by transaction, has very useful search features and reporting features and allows us to access data from decades ago.
Pros
General functionality. Most people are familiar with QuickBooks so it's easy to share information, when needed.
Cons
My understanding is that Intuit is planning to discontinue all desktop versions of QuickBooks and switch to online only. I've tried QuickBooks Online and do not like it. Having used QuickBooks/Quicken since the 1980s, with numerous companies, I sincerely hope Intuit reconsiders this action, as it would be tragic and cause me to look elsewhere for accounting software.

QuickBooks Enterprise will accomplish all your financial needs
is a comprehensive accounting solution built for businesses that need more than what standard QuickBooks products can offer. Its advanced features, customizable reports, and scalability make it a powerful tool for managing complex financial processes. Overall, QuickBooks Enterprise is a solid choice for mid-sized to large organizations that require robust accounting functionality and the flexibility to grow.
Pros
It integrates seamlessly with other platforms like QuickBooks Payroll to easily streamline. It has the ability to scale with companies and allows up to 30 licenses available to be used! It also has very sophisticated role-based security that allows administrators to feel confident that confidential financial information is only seen by the proper people!
Cons
It is a much higher cost and learning curve than other QuickBook solutions, but also much more sophisticated. We thought it would be the same, and it caused some headaches at integration and in the early days, so be prepared for that if you have experience with other QuickBook solutions!

Software Glitch since 2023 Version still not resolved, unable to send statements
Pros
Today, Nothing! I am fed up with wasting time on a problem they could have easily fixed.
Cons
They have been made aware by numerous customers that after the upgrade to 2023 software we are no longer able to send statements. They stated they "turned off" the customer sort function, so you can no longer choose to generate statements for only customers with a balance. It will generate a statement for EVERY single customer you have, IF you have less than 4500, EVERY time. If , like us, you have been with them for years and years and have more than 4500 customers it just creates an error message and will do nothing. The only option is to scroll through all you thousands of customers and individually select the ones you want to send statements to. It takes a few hours!! It is a simple sort function, that used to take 1 minute for the software to perform. They have been aware of the problem since April of 2023 and have done nothing. They did not fix it in the 2024 Edition either. Customer support just wastes several hours of your time trying things that don't work, and then they "create a support ticket" for you. Mine was created in May of 2023, and still nothing has been done. We pay extra to have Enterprise because we have a huge customer base and so we are forced to purchase Enterprise instead of the cheaper versions, but then they have a glitch that makes a VERY BASIC function, sending out monthly statements, not work. We are tired of waiting for them to fix this and are looking to switch to a different software. It is very frustrating that after being a customer for years and years to have to change accounting programs.

Why modernize when you can write an app in 1994 and continue selling it for 3000 years
An endless hassle of "is it in multi-user mode?" and "hang on let me run the Scan from the Quickbooks Database Manager", topped off with "is the update going to run itself? Is it running in the background? How many times do I have to close it before it realizes its closed and actually runs the update it claimed it was going to do?"
Pros
It's a commonly-known app that people are often familiar with from using on their own finances.
Cons
Archaic interface for updates, multiuser mode difficulties, limits of troubleshooting tools when things go wrong.

QB Enterprise - Works as Expected
It's a reliable program that can make Accounting processes easy to handle. Most users will have a basic role entering data, and the UI is easy enough to navigate for non-technical folk. It must be mentioned that QB Support is an absolute joke - there are helpful people but you must go through the gambit of useless techs, getting elevated to the next supervisor, etc.
Pros
Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise lets you keep your data on-premise, rather than in the cloud where Intuit uses your data for various 'purposes'. Easily customizable - basically a SQL Anywhere database.
Cons
Integrating Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise is needlessly complex - there are no APIs to use, just the old Quickbooks Web Connector. QBWC uses the outdated XML format to receive and send data - to integrate with another system you either need developer skills to create your own web connector file or use a third-party ETL service that will generate one based on your workflow.

Robust and Scalable: QuickBooks Enterprise Empowers Growing Businesses
QuickBooks Enterprise provides a powerful, feature-rich accounting solution that can handle complex business needs, especially in inventory and reporting. Its interface is intuitive for seasoned users, though beginners may face a learning curve. The software is reliable for medium to large businesses with high transaction volumes, but its costs and limited cloud functionality may deter smaller companies or those needing extensive mobility. Overall, it’s a solid choice for growing companies that want a scalable, advanced solution without fully transitioning to ERP.
Pros
Scalability and Capacity, Advanced Reporting, Industry-Specific Features, Integrations and Add-ons, User Permissions and Roles are some of the features make QuickBooks Enterprise a strong fit for businesses looking to grow while keeping finances tightly organized and accessible.
Cons
The vast number of features and customization options can be overwhelming for beginners, Enterprise doesn’t always offer as smooth or comprehensive integrations as fully cloud-based software, it is one of the pricier QuickBooks options, with a subscription model.

The software's scalability has been a significant advantage, as it supports a larger number of users and transactions compared to the standard QuickBooks versions.
Pros
Integration with Third-Party Apps
The software integrates seamlessly with a wide range of third-party applications, from payment processors to CRM tools, expanding its functionality and allowing businesses to streamline their operations across various platforms.
Cons
Complexity and Learning Curve
QuickBooks Enterprise has a steeper learning curve compared to other QuickBooks products. The advanced features and customization options can be overwhelming for new users or small businesses without dedicated accounting staff. It can take time to fully grasp its capabilities and navigate the software efficiently.

I like it!
I enjoyed Quickbooks Enterprise and I'm looking to add it back to my budgeting tools. I enjoyed using it during a free trial period and like it enough that I'm willing to pay for continuing services. I feel like regular use of Quickbooks Enterprise tools would save me enough time and money making the tools pay for themselves. Not to mention the fact that I feel increasing my experience and familiarity with Quickbooks would enhance services I provide to my own customers.
Pros
Easy to scan receipts. Easy to learn system. Certifications available. QuickBooks tools increased and promoted necessary financial tracking. Loved it.
Cons
Price. I wish there was a free option but other than that I didn't really encounter cons with QuickBooks.

A More Robust Accounting Solution
We are running QuickBooks desktop in an Azure VM. We have 4 companies and 3 users. Our monthly fees are less than they would be with QuickBooks online and we have another 3rd party software that is must sync with so our options were limited.
Pros
This is the desktop version of QuickBooks and offers a much more robust solution than the online version.
1. Better reporting.
2. Multiple Companies open at the same time.
Cons
1. Cost. Upfront is very expensive.
2. Uses a lot of system resources.

Fantastic functionality with a big price tag
I found it was too expensive after they enforced that the subscription-based version was required for the payroll module.
Pros
Easy to use, and the modules, such as payroll, are incredibly helpful and time-saving.
Cons
I purchased the lifetime desktop version which had the payroll module included; the next year QB changed the pricing model, such that, payroll was only supported with the subscription-based version, making it unaffordable.
