Devin Desktop supports seamless transitions between cloud and local agent execution, allowing agents to continue tasks when developers are away. It includes access to the SWE-1.6 coding model and supports custom extensions and plugins to align with team workflows. The platform is backward compatible with extensions, settings, and in-progress work from its predecessor, Windsurf IDE.
