> Edificius is an on-premise 3D building information modeling solution designed for small and midsize architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) companies. It offers parametric architectural objects, landscaping design, a textures library, photo rendering and scene simulation functionalities within a suite.


Edificius features parametric objects, which allows users to include structural elements such as beams, pillars and walls in building drawings. It also enables users to produce drawings in multiple views, such as floor plans, cross sectional views and axonometric views.


Edificius features a textures library, which includes different designs tools such as 2D CAD blocks, HD textures and 3D models. The solution also offers real-time 3D rendering, which allows users to apply different types of rendering layouts to the drawings, such as photorealistic, transparent background and render clay. It also allows users to track the status of a design in real time by viewing a 3D layout.

> **Pros**: Using one software for many aspects of the project I am working on, from drawings to perspective walkthroughs, I can make my offers presentations and BoQ look very professional. The MEP design includes Smart objects that automatically connect and grant the option to model piping and ducts in 3D, even under heavy workloads. Using Edificius software, you can design buildings using powerful tools and stay up-to-date with the latest regulations and technologies. RTBIM window and program interface are clear and easy to use

> **Pros**: Il software è molto completo e possiede moltissimi strumenti utili alla progettazione. Il vantaggio di tutti i software Bim è la possibilità di ottenere risultati molto chiari e completi in temi relativamente brevi e in modo molto compatto. La peculiarità di Edificius è quella di essere molto specifico ed efficace, ci sono tante risorse in libreria che oltre andare forma alle idee possono essere un buono spunto per trovare soluzioni nuove. Il software permette di importare da Google Maps l'area circostante l'edificio in 3D. Una volta finita la modellazione BIM è possibile estrapolare una scheda tecnica con le caratteristiche rilevanti e tutte le tavole grafiche desiderate dai prospetti alle sezioni completi di dettagli e leggende.

> **Cons**: Il software manca un po' della versatilità tipica dei programmi direttamente concorrenti. Richiede uno sforzo molto alto alla scheda grafica e per questo motivo si blocca spesso e si rischia di perdere la parte del lavoro non salvata, da problemi anche con ottime schede grafiche, dunque spesso è sconsigliato utilizzare due schermi diversi, che invece sarebbero utili per poter copiare dettagli costruttivi specifici da foto o disegni.

> **Pros**: It's easy to use with small and medium buildings, for bigger ones it can be a little more tricky. But as I said for small and medium is easy and fast to use.

> **Cons**: When you have to use non standard parts it's tricky, when you work on libraries you go smooth.

> I think it's a good software, it can be integrate with other softwares like Primus, Thermus, etc. to make your business faster. I think it can grow up in the next future to be a solid platform.
