# User Intuition

Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/538664/User-Intuition

> User Intuition is AI-moderated consumer research software that gives brand, insights, and innovation teams the depth of qualitative interviews at the speed and scale of a survey.

Instead of recruiting a handful of consumers for focus groups that take weeks to schedule and longer to analyze, User Intuition runs hundreds of in-depth, one-on-one interviews in parallel, by voice, video, or chat. An AI moderator conducts each conversation live, probing 5 to 7 levels deep the way an experienced researcher would and adapting its follow-up questions to what each consumer actually says. The result is the nuance of qual, the real reasons people buy, switch, and stay loyal, captured from enough people to act on with confidence.

Who it is for

User Intuition is built for consumer insights, brand, marketing, innovation, and category teams at CPG, retail, food and beverage, and consumer brands, and for the agencies and research partners who serve them. If your decisions hinge on understanding shoppers and consumers, it replaces the slow, expensive parts of traditional qual.

What you can do

Concept, claim, and message testing: rank ideas and learn why they win, not just which scored higher
Packaging and shelf research: capture moment-of-purchase reasoning
Brand health and equity tracking: always-on consumer sentiment and switching signals
Shopper and path-to-purchase insights: missions, triggers, and barriers in consumers' words
Product innovation and idea validation: pressure-test the pipeline against real demand
Voice-of-the-customer and post-purchase research: understand satisfaction, churn, and repeat

Key Capabilities

AI-moderated interviews: 30-minute conversations, 5-7 level laddering, voice, video, or chat, in 50+ languages
Qual at quant scale: 200 to 300+ interviews in 24 to 48 hours, scaling to 1,000+ per week, with 30-45% completion (3-5x surveys)
Verified consumer panel: 4M+ vetted respondents across 100+ countries, with multi-layer fraud prevention that filters out bots and professional respondents, or interview your own customers
Customer Intelligence Hub: a searchable, permanent repository where every interview compounds, patterns surface across studies, and every finding is traced to a verbatim quote
Fast, self-serve setup: launch a study in about 5 minutes, first results within 24 hours

Why Teams Switch

Traditional qualitative research costs $15,000 to $27,000 per study and takes 4 to 8 weeks. User Intuition studies start at $150 and return results in about 24 hours, roughly 93-96% lower cost, without giving up depth. Participant satisfaction runs 98%, and because the platform recruits and screens verified buyers, you hear from people who actually use the category.

Integrations

Integrates with Stripe, HubSpot, Zapier, Shopify, and data warehouses, with an MCP architecture that connects to the broader AI tooling ecosystem.

User Intuition exists to put the voice of the consumer into every decision: fast enough to matter, deep enough to trust, and at a scale that finally makes continuous consumer listening practical.

## Reviews

### "The fastest we've ever gone from concept to consumer evidence" — 5.0/5

> **Aldrin** | *8 July 2026* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: What I like most is that it moves at the speed we actually make decisions. A simple concept test used to take six weeks, by the time I'd briefed the agency, gone back and forth on the screener, waited for fielding and then a readout. And six weeks is long enough that everyone's already emotionally committed, so the research stops being something that can change the call and just becomes the thing we point to afterward.

Now I start with a rough question, upload the packaging, and I've got a plan in about ten minutes. What surprised me was the moderator. In one pack study people kept saying a concept felt "more premium," and instead of logging that and moving on it kept asking what premium meant to them, until it came out that they meant the front wasn't cluttered, they could find the ingredients, and it looked like something they'd actually put in their cart. I'd normally only get that from a good human moderator.
The different formats matter too. Some questions only need text. But for packaging and creative, being able to show the image or the video and then ask the data questions afterward gets us a lot closer to how these calls really get made.
>
> **Cons**: Very little. The thing I've learned is that the narrow audiences take patience. A broad consumer study fills almost immediately, but the last time we screened for a specific category buyer it took a few extra days to recruit. They tell you that going in, and since we only pay for the interviews that pass quality, I don't mind the wait.
>
> Its quick to set up, the AI interviews actually hold up, and everything we've ever learned is searchable in one place. That's the direction consumer insights should have gone years ago.

### "Chief Growth Officer" — 5.0/5

> **Eric** | *23 March 2026* | Consumer Goods | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The thing that sold me wasn't the cost savings or the speed — it was the quality of the conversations. We've done plenty of traditional qual over the years, and the transcripts that come back from User Intuition are genuinely better than most agency-run focus groups I've sat behind. Consumers go deeper because there's no social pressure from a group setting and no moderator rushing to stay on schedule. You get 30 minutes of honest, unprompted reasoning about why someone actually chose your product over a competitor's.

The other differentiator is that I don't need to involve a research team to get a study in market. I can set one up myself, have it fielded the same week, and share results with my leadership team before our next planning meeting. That's a completely different operating tempo than what we had before.

The diminishing marginal returns thing is real too — and I mean that as a positive. After a few studies you've built up this base of consumer conversations you can go back and query anytime. You don't have to re-ask questions you've already explored. New studies build on what you already know, so each one gets more targeted and more valuable. We went from running brand studies once every six months to having a living, breathing picture of how we're doing that anyone on the team can check at any point.
>
> **Cons**: Because the AI follows the natural flow of conversation, you're not going to get the kind of deterministic, structured output you'd get from a quantitative survey. If you need hard percentages or statistical significance on a specific question, you'll want to pair this with a quant tool. It's qualitative depth done really well — just know that going in.
>
> We're more nimble now than we've ever been. When something shifts in the market or we get unexpected consumer feedback, we can react in days instead of waiting for the next scheduled research window. The whole commercial team has a place to go see how we're tracking, grounded in real consumer voice. That's changed how we operate more than any single tool we've adopted.

### "Churn analysis rootcause" — 5.0/5

> **Victor** | *7 August 2026* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: We thought most of our churn happened because of price and in fact we’d heard it 90% of the time. The follow-up questions from User Intuition uncovered that most of those customers never connected a datasource so didn’t see much value from our product. As evidence, I even downloaded and shared five quotes in Slack with the team to show them the findings.

We’re now actively solving cancels and downgrades by focusing on the integration steps instead of discounting.
>
> **Cons**: I like it.
>
> User Intuition helped me understand what customers went through before they left. The direct quotes we’re able to get from there usually move the conversation forward faster than another dashboard screenshot.
