Walk a job talking into your phone, take pictures, or type a few notes, and Hank turns that into a draft estimate with real line items priced against your own catalog, falling back to your default rate when there is no match. After that he edits any document by chat: add lines, build sections, set allowances, change a due date, add a client, tighten the wording. Anything destructive comes back as an Apply or Keep choice rather than quietly overwriting the form, he remembers up to twenty standing rules about how you like your documents written, and every number stays yours to approve before it leaves.

Change orders are treated as the real documents they are on a jobsite, each with its own approval, signature, and invoice, and a PDF reconciling the original contract value, prior change orders, and the revised total. A change order amends whichever document set the contract, so it works whether the job started from an accepted estimate or straight from an invoice.

Invoicing follows the way jobs actually get billed. Raise as many invoices against one job as it takes, deposit through progress draws to final balance, record partial payments as they land, and let overdue reminders go out on their own. Clients pay online by credit card or ACH through Stripe, and Jobkore takes no cut: you pay Stripe's published rates directly, 2.9% plus 30 cents on cards and 0.8% capped at five dollars on ACH.

QuickBooks Online sync is included rather than sold as an upgrade. Sent and accepted estimates, invoices, payments, and the clients attached to them move across automatically in one direction, from Jobkore into QuickBooks.

The rest fills in around that. Field Notes capture a job as text, as a voice memo up to fifteen minutes that transcribes itself using a construction-aware vocabulary, or as a photo or PDF it pulls the text out of, and anything captured in a basement or a dead zone uploads next time you open the app. Projects optionally group a job's documents and roll up contract value, invoiced, collected, unbilled, and outstanding. Subcontractor tracking keeps one running balance per subcontractor per job so you know what you owe, and never puts that name on anything the client sees. Add client records with service locations and revenue history, a reusable catalog seeded by fourteen trade-specific starter packs, a revenue dashboard with CSV export, and a Monday morning stats email.

> **Pros**: I really love the online payments. Before Jobkore we were dealing with manual checks, which could take days to receive, so being able to get paid online has been a huge improvement. The mobile app is also really intuitive and fast. One feature that genuinely suprised me was being able to translate estimate line items into Spanish. I've had a few Spanish-speaking clients, and being able to do that right inside the software was incredibly useful. Overall, it's simple to use but still has alot of powerful features.
