It is suitable for trainers, coaches, facilitators, Scrum Masters, agile coaches, teachers, and educators who need to organize sessions, workshops, training programs, retrospectives, sprint planning, or course materials in a clear format.

The tool includes a drag-and-drop interface for arranging workshop blocks on an interactive timeline. Time calculations adjust automatically when elements are moved. It supports group and breakout sessions for organizing related content or planning parallel activities for different participant groups. A live mode displays the current block, remaining time, and upcoming activities during sessions. Sessionplan does not require registration or account creation, allowing immediate access to its features. Data is stored locally in the browser by default, prioritizing user privacy. Workshop agendas can be shared through generated links or exported as JSON files for backup or transfer. The tool functions offline after the initial load.
