We built MedleyHR for ourselves first. As our team grew, simple HR tasks started becoming operational bottlenecks — payslip requests flooding inboxes every month, leave approvals getting lost in chats, appraisal tracking spread across multiple Excel sheets, and payroll becoming harder to manage accurately across teams and branches.

We looked for software that was powerful enough to handle real payroll and HR operations, but simple enough to set up without months of implementation or enterprise-level complexity. We couldn’t find one that fit the way growing businesses actually work. So we built MedleyHR, ran it internally for over a year, and refined it through day-to-day operational use before opening it up to other teams.
