# ProjectTimeTracker

Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/553230/ProjectTimeTracker

> ProjectTimeTracker is a time tracking app for iOS (iPhone and iPad) built for freelancers, flexitime employees, and anyone with a side project who needs to know where their hours go. It's designed for one person, not a team: no account, no workspace, no login. Open the app and start tracking immediately.

Time is logged by project, either with a live stopwatch or added manually afterward. While a timer runs, a Live Activity keeps the current project and elapsed time visible right on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so there's no need to keep reopening the app. All data is stored on the device and works fully offline; it also syncs automatically across a user's own devices using an anonymous ID, with no personal information required.

A built-in Time Guard lets users set a daily working-time limit, with a notification when it's reached — a deliberate feature to help prevent overworking, not to squeeze out more billable hours. A statistics tab shows time broken down by day, week, month, and year, and by project.

A premium subscription removes the 250-entry free yearly limit and adds export to CSV, Excel, PDF, calendar, or a full JSON backup — everything needed to turn tracked hours into an invoice or a report.

Track time. Analyze work hours. Invoice with confidence.
