# InteScene

> InteScene is production management software for the people who actually have to make the film happen: producers, line producers, first ADs, production coordinators and production managers, plus the directors who end up doing all of those jobs themselves.

It was built by filmmakers who have run those jobs, and it exists because of a specific kind of bad night. The schedule moved, so the call sheets are wrong, so the budget no longer reflects reality, and you are sitting up at 1am updating the same information in five documents and quietly worrying about the sixth one you have forgotten. On a small production there is no department to hand that to. On a large one it is spread across a building, but it is still the same problem.

InteScene puts the whole production on one live data set. Script, breakdown, schedule, budget, call sheets, casting, locations, equipment, catering, logistics, continuity and crew check in all read from the same records. Change something once and it carries everywhere, so nothing goes stale.

Who it suits best. Independent features, shorts, series, commercials and music videos, where a small team is covering a lot of roles. Also production companies who want their coordinators out of spreadsheets. It is built to be studio capable rather than indie only, so a growing production does not outgrow it. Teams already working in Final Draft can bring scripts across in FDX or Fountain format.

What people get out of it. Prep problems caught before they reach the floor, because the conflict engine flags double booked cast, location clashes and illegal turnarounds while there is still time to fix them. Paperwork that looks like a real production, because call sheets, sides and reports build from smart defaults rather than a blank page. Less second guessing, because the schedule and the real budget number are in front of you instead of scattered across a drive. And a scattered crew that works like one room, with real time editing, read only links for financiers who should not need a login, and a cast and crew portal so people can find their own call without texting you.

On AI. There is AI in the product, but it is deliberately a set of precise tools rather than a system that takes the project over. It breaks down a script into elements, runs cost and clearance passes, assists with scheduling and reads a draft back to you. You decide what gets applied, and usage runs on a monthly credit allowance so the cost stays predictable.

Getting started. It runs in the browser with nothing to install, on Mac, Windows, Linux and Chromebook, and on Android, iPhone and iPad. The on set tools are designed tablet first for use on the floor. There is a free plan that stays free, and every paid plan starts with a 14 day free trial with no card required, so you can put a real project into it before you commit. Paid plans run from GBP 12 to GBP 25 per month, with annual billing saving up to 17%, and prices are also shown in USD, EUR, CAD and AUD.
