# TruckHub

> Step 1 - Go To The Inventory Tab

Break down all the items to create one item on your menu, if you need onions then break down how much of that onion goes on 1 burger etc and continue until all items for each menu item have been entered, you will only have to do this once and then the system will take it from there and you will be alerted when you are getting close to needing to shop for each item.  Breaking it down into how much goes on one burger or into one bowl of soup makes it easier down the line.  If you entered 1 onion for a burger it would take it as the whole onion not just the slice that you put on the burger.  Once you fill in the inventory tab then filling out the Menu Tab and everything else will be very simple as their will be drop down lists for you to choose from. 
After you fill out your Menu items under the Menu Tab then you can enter your Locations Tab and TruckHub will automatically tell you which location is your most profitable, what was the most purchased item at that location etc.  Now you can fill out your Suppliers Tab and when TruckHub writes your shopping list it will fill in each Supplier you use for your items.  It will also create you a Prep List for the next day based on what items you sold today.  

TruckHub has a Food Cost Calculator — calculates your real profit margin per menu item and a
📈 Financial Dashboard — revenue, expenses, and net profit at a glance which will automatically update as you make sales or purchase inventory.

TruckHub will store all this information right there on your ipad or tablet or phone, so you don't have your personal information up in a cloud somewhere.  TruckHub doesn't need Internet or Cell Service. 

At the end of everyday you hit BACKUP in the top right hand corner of the software and then you save that backup copy to your ipad/tablet or phone and if you have a owner or manager that wants to be updated everyday then as long as they have TruckHub installed on their computer or device, you could just send them a copy of the Backup file everyday and they would Restore it on their system and they could see every transaction etc everyday.  Theirs even a CSV Button that you can use to give to your accountant and it breaks it all down for them ie: Date, Location, Time, Category, Item, Qty, Revenue,  and Ingredient Cost in a spreadsheet form. 

If you fill in your Inventory correctly the first time, you will never have to fill it in again.  If you add a new Menu item, just make sure you fill in the Inventory Tab first for the new Menu Item and then you can enter on your Menu Tab and all the drop down lists will be there for you.
