# Mentbot

Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/562273/Mentbot

> Mentbot is for small businesses and online sellers who sell on Facebook and Instagram and get more comments than they can answer by hand: product posts, live selling, and a steady stream of "How much?" and "Is this still available?".

When someone comments, Mentbot replies under the comment and sends that person a private message in Messenger or Instagram Direct. The buyer gets an answer straight away, and the seller gets a one-to-one conversation to close the sale instead of a question left hanging under the post.

Sellers set the replies with rules: keywords and hashtags decide what goes out, and a rule can apply to every post or only to the posts they pick. Mentbot can also like or hide comments automatically, and it sends a Telegram alert when a customer's message sits unread.

It does one job, so there is nothing to build and no chatbot flows to design. Plans are priced in US dollars by daily comment volume, $9, $19, $29 or $49 a month, with every feature and unlimited Facebook Pages on every plan. The 14-day free trial needs no credit card.

Support is by email, and Mentbot is built in Bangkok, Thailand.
