> GradeOrbit is an AI marking assistant for UK secondary schools and trusts, covering KS3, GCSE, A-Level, BTEC and Functional Skills across AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Eduqas and WJEC. Departments share mark schemes, then upload a whole class in one batch — scanned pages are matched to your roster automatically, marked, and held for the teacher to review, edit and approve before anything reaches pupils. The AI suggests; the teacher always decides the final mark. It reads handwritten and typed work, pins essay feedback to the page, and marks maths gate-by-gate for partial credit on multi-step questions. Marked work and results are retained under a signed DPA so staff can revisit them, with school-set retention and auto-archive windows. Schools also get AI-use detection, comparing a pupil's work with their own earlier writing as an indicator to review, never proof, plus lesson planning for schemes of work and PowerPoints. Individual teachers can trial it privately first.
