# CraftedEX

> CraftedEX is made for the owner of a trade business who still works on site — the electrician, plumber, painter, roofer, drywaller, landscaper, carpenter or architect who runs the company and the jobs at the same time. Typically one to twenty employees, one to five crews, and an evening that is currently spent turning photos, notes and slips of paper into paperwork.

How it works in practice: on site, someone takes a photo. The AI recognises the material, the work carried out and any defects, and writes the first draft of the record. The craftsman confirms or corrects it in a second — and the job file grows by itself: photos, measurements per room, defects with deadlines, hours worked, the daily site diary. Back at the office, the quote and the invoice are built from that same data instead of from memory.

Who it is not for: companies with several hundred employees looking for a full ERP system, and anyone wanting a tool that only manages appointments. CraftedEX documents the work itself.

What makes it different from general field-service tools: real depth per trade. Electrical testing to DGUV V3 with test protocols, heating load calculation to DIN EN 12831 and drinking-water hygiene for plumbing, roof and flat-roof structures, painting substrates and consumption, structural and drywall measurement to REB, planting and pest documentation for landscaping, wood preservation for carpentry, HOAI phases and defect management for architects. Each is a proper module, not a renamed checklist.

Language on site: interface and voice input in 12 languages, including Turkish, Arabic, Polish, Romanian, Russian and Ukrainian. Handover notes for a defect can be translated for the person who has to fix it.

Offline: everything works without reception and syncs when the signal returns — cellars, new builds and rural sites included.

Records that hold up: site diary, defect reports and time records are sealed in a tamper-evident hash chain and follow German rules on working time, minimum wage and accounting records (GoBD). E-invoicing (XRechnung, ZUGFeRD) and a DATEV export for the tax advisor are included.

Data protection: hosting in Germany, AI inference inside the EU, personal data removed from text before analysis, GPS stripped from photos on upload.

Support and onboarding: setup takes minutes — pick the trade, and the modules for it are switched on. Support comes directly from the people who build the software, by email, phone and chat, in German and English. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial without a credit card, and the invoicing side can be switched off entirely if the company already uses separate accounting software.
