# Decklit

Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/563518/Decklit

> If your work involves presenting to people outside your company, you already know the pattern. You finish the deck, and then it goes on a journey nobody designed: emailed as an attachment, presented over a screen share that lags, discussed in a chat that disappears when the call ends, and followed up from memory a week later.

Decklit exists for that part of the process, everything after the deck is made.

You start by sharing it as a single secure link, with control over who opens it and for how long. The file itself stays in Decklit, so the person you sent it to sees your work without ever holding a copy of it. For anyone sending pricing, strategy or investor material, that difference matters.

When it is time to present, you go live in the browser. There is nothing to install, for you or for the people joining, and you do not screen share to show your slides. Decklit synchronises the deck to every participant instead of relaying video of your screen, which sounds like a technical detail until you see what it changes. Slides stay sharp when the connection is poor. Sessions use far less bandwidth and battery. And you can run a full presentation from a phone browser, which is genuinely useful if you present in the field, in a café, or between meetings.

Screen sharing has not disappeared, it has been given a better job. With Dual View, your deck, a shared screen and your participants appear together on one page, so a live demo runs alongside your slides rather than replacing them.

Afterwards, nothing scatters. The recording, the shared files, per-slide comments and audience questions stay attached to the deck in the Deck Room, together with an AI summary of the session. Analytics show how long viewers spent on each slide and where the questions came from, so your follow-up is based on what actually happened rather than what you remember.

Getting started takes minutes. The free plan is permanent, not a trial, and includes live sessions for up to 20 participants, engagement analytics and Q\&A, so you can run something real before deciding whether to pay. Pro adds unlimited decks, larger audiences, recordings and AI summaries at $18 per month, or $14 monthly on annual billing, priced per account rather than per seat, so it does not become more expensive as your team grows.

Support is by email and through the web for all users, including on the free plan. Decklit works standalone with built-in audio and video, or alongside Zoom, Meet and Teams if you would rather keep your existing call.

## Reviews

### "A great tool for seamless presentations" — 5.0/5

> **Federica** | *18 August 2026* | Marketing & Advertising | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Decklit is great for sharing slides without the usual screen share lag. The browser syncing keeps text perfectly sharp for everyone, even with bad or slow connections. I love that I can share confidential pitches without allowing downloads, which is definitely an added value for peace of mind. The post-session analytics are also helpful, showing exactly which slides clients spent the most time looking at, it’s a great learning and can be used to improve future presentations. It is really simple to use and has made my remote meetings feel much more professional.
>
> **Cons**: It seems to offer many features, so a step-by-step guide may be helpful to ensure users can make the most of it without missing anything.

### "Great new tool for post-creation deck management\!" — 5.0/5

> **Asya** | *18 August 2026* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: I'm always on the lookout for tools that can streamline my team's day-to-day activities. Decklit makes your presentations truly portable - easily accessible from any device and ready to present even in low-bandwidth areas or while roaming, which is very useful during business travel. With built-in deck notes and analytics, it's an easy-to-manage, single hub for everything deck-related.
>
> **Cons**: Whilst it is a straight forward tool, I would like to see more content on tips and tricks or pre-recorded demos.

### "I no longer dread sales calls & team meetings" — 5.0/5

> **Josh** | *21 August 2026* | Information Services | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Not needing a bunch of tools to host sales calls \& team meetings. The host feedback is valuable as well and is helping me improve my skills on calls
>
> **Cons**: Slight learning curve at first but it was well explained with all the resources and once you get it, you get it
>
> Decklit has stopped me from dreading sales meetings because it's finally an easier, smoother experience for me, my team \& my clients. We've seen an improved conversion rate from calls as engagement is up and clients are following up better because they can actually access everything they need after the calls.

Team meetings have been smoother, most impactful is the fact we're not having to sift through different platforms and emails to find everything we spoke about
