# Rotahr

> Rotahr was built by Gabor Nemeth, who spent years cooking professionally in Ireland before writing a line of it. The rota lived on a laminated sheet, the food safety records in a folder nobody opened until the inspector arrived.

It is made for the operator who is also covering a section on a Friday night, so everything is designed to be finished on a phone, between tasks, by someone nobody has trained on it.

Scheduling and labour cost. Build the rota and watch wage cost update as you drag shifts, so you learn you are over budget while you can still fix it. Publish to your team's phones. Swap requests route through a manager, not a group chat. Availability and approved time off sit in the view you build against, and late or no-show alerts fire when someone has not clocked in.

Time, attendance and payroll hours. Staff clock in and out on their phones, and rostered hours sit beside actual hours so the gap shows before payroll rather than after. Break entitlement is tracked against working time rules. Tips and tronc are distributed and recorded.

Table reservations. A visual floor plan laid out to match the actual room, with tables placed, shaped, sized and given a capacity. Status updates live for the date you are viewing, and clicking a free table starts a booking already assigned to it. Guest profiles build themselves from reservations, including visit counts and no-show history, and a public booking page takes reservations directly.

HACCP and food safety. Paperless temperature checks against your own named fridges, freezers and hot holding units. Cooking and cooling records with the thresholds and use-by dates built in. Opening, closing and cleaning checklists managers can edit per venue. Reminders follow the shift and repeat until the check is actually logged, and one tap produces the inspection pack.

Stock, costing, ordering and bookkeeping. Photograph a delivery note and its line items populate stock levels, your expense record and your HACCP delivery check at once. Recipe costs update from the prices that actually landed, so gross margin per dish stays current. Build order lists per supplier, move them draft to sent to received, and export them. Upload a supplier statement to have it reconciled against what you ordered, with discrepancies flagged. Receipts scan the same way, feeding profit and loss, a tax summary and CSV export for your accountant.

What Rotahr is not. It is not a point of sale, does not process customer payments or take orders at the table, and does not host course or training content. Rotahr sits alongside your till rather than replacing it.
