The mechanism is straightforward. Once a Shopify store is connected, TrueSignal listens for the order-shipped webhook and generates the surveys predefined in the product configuration.

The merchant sends the buyer a link carrying that token, the buyer answers a short survey, and the response lands in the TrueSignal dashboard already tied to that SKU, variant, and order - no spreadsheets or manual tagging required.

That data covers consumption velocity (how quickly a product gets used, which feeds reorder timing and subscription cadence), product and SKU-level satisfaction, repeat purchase intent, food waste (how much of a consumable product goes unused, by product and pack size), product quality issues, delivery friction, and recurring themes or trend shifts grouped by SKU or batch - the kind of pattern that shows up in survey responses before it shows up in returns or reviews.

Every response is verified 1:1 against a real order and collected in the 24-48 hour window after delivery, so the signal reflects what actually happened rather than what a self-selected reviewer chose to write days or weeks later.

Responses are anonymised and aggregated into product-level insight and never sold or exposed individually. TrueSignal builds product profiles, not customer profiles, and dashboard access is scoped to your team's own permissions.
