# MiniPACS

> MiniPACS is a self-hosted PACS built for independent imaging centers that want to own their archive instead of renting cloud storage.

Who it is for: single-site and small multi-site radiology practices, orthopedic and specialty clinics, mobile imaging services, and the MSPs who run IT for them. The typical buyer has one busy X-ray or CT room, a front desk, and no full-time IT department.

What it does: the system runs on hardware the clinic controls (a mini PC, an existing server, or the practice's own cloud account). CT, MRI, ultrasound and X-ray machines send studies over standard DICOM. Staff open studies in any modern browser with nothing to install; a typical study opens in about 0.6 seconds (measured), and new studies appear on the worklist automatically, typically within about a minute. Radiologists write and sign reports in the built-in editor with dictation support and export signed PDFs. Studies can be shared with patients and referring physicians through expiring, PIN-protected web links or QR codes, sent clinic-to-clinic as standard DICOM, or exported to CD/USB as a self-contained disc that opens in common desktop viewers. Backups are AES-256 encrypted, and role-based access with audit logging covers staff accounts.

Why clinics choose it: the bill is flat. $300 per location per month, billed yearly, with unlimited studies, unlimited users and unlimited connected machines; no per-study, per-seat or per-gigabyte fees. If the subscription ever lapses, the archive stays on the clinic's hardware with read-only access, so the data is never held hostage.

Support: guided remote installation and migration of an existing archive are a one-time project from $1,500, scoped to the archive. Email support and updates are included with the license. A live demo of the real system on synthetic data is available on the website without a sales call.

An optional referral and booking portal, Vendo, adds online referral intake, scheduling and status tracking; MiniPACS and Vendo together are $640 per location per month.
