> EventPipe is cloud-based event housing software that helps sports housing companies, event producers, meeting planners, and CVBs manage hotel room blocks from start to finish. The platform covers the entire hotel booking lifecycle, from RFPs and contracts to inventory management, reconciliation, and invoicing, so teams can run more events with less manual work and capture more of the revenue they earn.

EventPipe was built by people who know the industry firsthand. Co-founder and CTO Mike Adessa comes from the youth sports world, where he saw that no software was built to handle hotel room blocks for large events. The company launched in 2020 to fill that gap.

Room Block Management. The core platform supports each stage of event housing. Users can identify hotels near a venue, send RFPs, and manage contracted room blocks. They can launch custom booking sites where attendees choose rooms, reserve, and pay. Support staff can look up reservations by confirmation number to answer guest questions. Before the event, users send the final rooming list to each hotel. After the event, pickup reports and reconciliation compare what was booked against who actually stayed, and invoicing tools help users bill hotels for the commissions and rebates owed.

Teams Management. Built for youth sports tournaments, Teams Management tracks which teams have booked rooms and whether they meet stay-to-play requirements. It helps housing companies fight blockflation, EventPipe's term for teams over-reserving rooms and inflating a block while actual pickup falls short.

PipeSights. This reporting tool gives leadership visibility into business performance, pacing, and event activity across their full portfolio.

Live hotel inventory. EventPipe also connects to live hotel inventory. After a block sells out or its cutoff date passes, organizers can keep capturing post-block reservations without signing a new contract. The same capability powers standalone booking sites for events that have no contracted block at all.

Together, these tools give event housing teams modern ways to maximize reservations and keep their data in one place across every event.
