About Meeting Application

Meeting Application is a cloud-based event management solution designed to help organizations plan corporate events, music and film festivals, government conference and more. Key features include survey and web banner design tools, networking features, an online photo booth, gamification and location sharing. Meeting Application allows organizers to update content and alert attendees to updates through push notifications. Users can also create event profiles including event descriptions, locations, website addresses and photos of the venue. Meeting Application integrates with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and automatically uploads event updates through its communication channel. Organizers, sponsors, partners and attendees can use the platform to communicate before and during an event. Pricing is per event, and mobile apps for iOS and Android devices are available. Support is offered through an online help desk and is available in various languages.

Best experience for events

It moves our event attendees from the various social media platforms and keep them glued to the event.

Generally the App is great, But I wish there was a chrome extension or a browser level as an addition to the Apps.

Best for events in the palm of the hand

Meeting Application is a feature that every event should have. Concentrate information and make it available to your audience with simplicity and clarity, updates and notifications in real time make life easier for any event planner.

Pros

The opportunity to insert an event schedule with clarity, segmented and with the maximum information. The option of the participants to make notes for the lectures and insert photos in the application. The map with the event location makes it much easier for everyone .

Cons

It is interesting to evaluate the option to aggregate other social media, as well as facilitate the operation in other languages.

The sunny side of Meeting Application

We started working with Meeting Application at a time when our professional event was making a strong digital shift both editorially and technically. Feedback from our delegates shows that the application makes it easier for them to access key information to make business connections. We would still need to work on more incentives to encourage interactions within the application before and after the event.

Pros

The possibility to connect it (API) to our own database to provide high value information such as the delegates list of our marketplace event on a daily basis.

Cons

The gamification and business matching components could be more user friendly. The event agenda being the most popular feature, our delegates would like to be able to export some events and meetings in their own personal agenda (Outlook…)

A great app solution for our event

Overall, the experience with Meeting Application has been a positive one. Staff using the back end of the app were pleased with the ease of use, and event delegates using the front end of the app were pleased with the amount of information relayed about the event through the app, and the ease of use. We look forward to the next app update.

Pros

The back end of the app is very easy to use and to upload / update information. The front end of the app is clean, easy to navigate and very user friendly.

Cons

Sponsor banners rotate on click (page refresh), but it would be preferable if the banners would rotate based on a time frame (where the client could choose the amount of time to assign to each banner). Some of our users had issues logging it, but I've been told that this issue will be fixed with the next update of the app. We would also like to see a Delegate List, similar to the Speaker List, so the app users can see the complete list of event attendees, beyond those who have logged in to the app. And lastly, the option to duplicate a notification would be a great asset to this app.

Meeting Application Made our Franchise Meeting Amazing!

Meeting Application allowed my team the time to focus on the event and worry less about the app which really gave us more time to spend on making the event better. I would recommend building and testing your app with Android and iOS devices, seeing the differences between them earlier would have been helpful to us in development.

Pros

Meeting Application made us look good! The app has a very low technical bar for entry with great customer care in the gaps. If you know basic word processing, you're set! Meeting Application was exactly what we were looking for, containers for content my team was developing straight ahead. I didn't have to build an app from scratch, I only needed to place content into containers within the app and test the app for function on devices.

Cons

Making an adjustment to Day elements would change Event element times from PM to AM. The app language changed on a very small number of Android devices. Welcome email failed on initial send, causing some registration confusion but everyone was still able to register. The app experience is noticeably better between Android and iOS.

Perfect app for a film festival!

Customer service was very quick and effective, which is very important to us, because it was a first time we had used an app for our festival. The company is always seeking feedback and planning improvements, so the product develops and enhances all the time. I would recommend it to any festival!

Pros

the template was easy to use, so it didn't require much training; it was easily customizable and very clean; we have attached films and screening schedules with visiting filmmakers; our sponsors got proper visibility thorough different size options for each level; our venues were seen on a map, so guests could easily see distances between theaters; customers could tag the films/events as favorites to create its own schedules.

Cons

we had few limitations, like lineup component didn't let us connect to specific filmmakers for selected films

Great event app

The app performed greatly and was really easy to install. It was well received by the audience. It replaced a printed booklet and made us more environment friendly. The support was really good. Fast and helpful answers – even after working hours.

Great application for the conference

We were looking for a solution to conduct a question and answer session. Meeting Application worked well.
In addition, the participants could immediately rate the speakers. We now know which topics are the most interesting for the participants and we will take this into account when creating the program during the next edition of the conference.
Conference guests could easily make new contacts using the "Bussines Matching" function.
Push notifications were very useful to easily communicate with participants.
It is also an additional place for displaying sponsors.

Simple UI, easy customizing and control

I am working for a conference of teachers in South Korea. I wanted a simple, not-so-expensive and easy-to-use conference app, easily customizable on-line. And Meeting Application was perfect for my needs.

Pros

You can easily customize the user app via web.

Does what it is supposed to

Great app for our company conference!

Pros

Application was great for our conference users, easy to use and navigate. The app had more features than we used, we'll definitely plan on using more features for next year.

Cons

The back-end administration screens can be a little clunky and harder to update, but you can do everything yourself quickly.
