> ScreenBrief helps people who hold a lot of meetings keep track of what was actually agreed. It is a Windows desktop app: you record your screen and audio, or import an existing recording from Teams, Zoom, Google Meet or a plain audio file, and ScreenBrief produces a transcript, a summary, the decisions that were made and the tasks that were assigned.

Transcription happens on your own computer using Whisper, either on the processor or on a graphics card with the optional accelerated runtime. For summaries and questions you can use a local model through Ollama or your own API key for an external AI service, and each chat answer links to the moment in the recording it came from.

Every recording is kept in a single library with full-text search, so you can find a topic from months ago in seconds. Transcripts can be exported as text or as .srt and .vtt subtitle files. The app works without an account, supports English and Polish, and comes with 5 free transcriptions; after that, Pro is available as a one-time purchase or a monthly subscription.
