We offer the option to pass fees to your supporters by adding a Buyer's Premium. This essentially makes the use of our software free for online nonprofit auctions. Our fees are simple: Let's assume you have a fundraising event and want to hold a traditional silent and live auction. You can organize your event, preview items on your BiddingOwl website, print bid sheets, sell tickets, and collect donations. You can also manage your checkout process and collect payments (Stripe or PayPal processing fees may apply). This is a free service, and we do not charge you. So, when do you charge me? The only time we charge you a 5% performance fee is when you actually run an online or mobile auction (fees for pre-bid auctions are based on the pre-bid amount and not the final bid). Let's assume you have an online item that sells for $100. We will charge you $5 based on the winning bid. We only charge you for items that are "bid" online. - **Target Audience**: Self Employed, 2–10, 11–50, 51–200, 201–500, 501–1,000, 1,001–5,000, 5,001–10,000, 10,000+ - **Deployment & Platforms**: Cloud, SaaS, Web-based, Mac (Desktop), Windows (Desktop), Windows (On-Premise), Chromebook (Desktop) - **Supported Languages**: English - **Available Countries**: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, American Samoa, Andorra, Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, Benin, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Botswana and 173 more ## Features - Absentee Bidding - Access Controls/Permissions - Activity Dashboard - Activity Tracking - Ad hoc Reporting - Alerts/Notifications - Auction Listings - Auction Management - Auction Type - Automation - Bid Alerts - Bid Confirmation - Bid Management - Bidder Profiles - Bidding Window - Billing & Invoicing - Buy Now Option - Catalog Management - Committee Management - Contact Management ## Integrations (2 total) - PayPal - Stripe ## Support Options - Email/Help Desk - FAQs/Forum - Knowledge Base - Phone Support - 24/7 (Live rep) ## Category - [Fundraising & Donor Management Software](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/directory/417/fundraising-software/software) ## Related Categories - [Fundraising & Donor Management Software](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/directory/417/fundraising-software/software) - [Donation Management Software](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/directory/418/crm-software/software) - [Fundraising Software](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/directory/1543/online-fundraising-platforms/software) - [Auction Software](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/directory/4461/auction/software) - [Charity Software](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/directory/4280/nonprofit/software) ## Alternatives 1. We also appreciate that purchases can be made via PayPal or directly with a credit card. The site is user-friendly provides concise direction for setup. Every time I've called in for support, I've spoken with the same representative (Hi, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]), which has given me a nice sense of continuity through this endeavor. The fact that the pricing is the lowest in the industry is such a great bonus\! > > **Cons**: I experienced an issue with the payment integration with PayPal, that I wish Bidding Owl could have resolved on my behalf. Instead, I spent several hours, over the course of multiple days, working through it. After all was finished, I was pleased with the outcome, but it was definitely a flustering experience. ----- ### "A win-win for auction hosts and bidders\!" — 4.0/5 > **Lynne** | *9 October 2020* | Design | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: Loved the ability to test it out, then convert it into my live online auction event. Easy setup with knowledgeable, responsive support when questions arose. Bidders can view items larger to see details and receive an email or text message if outbid. > > **Cons**: I look forward to the new release coming soon. Hoping for more customization of fonts, colors and backgrounds. Also the ability to change the title of “Fund-a-Need and More” non-biddable items, easily reorder them, and see an improved user-friendly interface for checkout. > > Very positive\! BiddingOwl.com is a solid auction platform with a dedicated support team behind it. ----- ### "Great Experience with Bidding Owl. 2nd year user." — 5.0/5 > **Jacqueline** | *27 March 2019* | Fund-Raising | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: Easy to Use, wonderful customer service, Very professional look to the site. > > **Cons**: Nothing bad to say. We had access to live customer service via email, phone and even got on a Zoom call for a walkthrough. We were able to direct people to the site easily via social media and our e-newsletter marketing. Set-up \& management was relatively easy and we were able to track progress on items in real time and easily manage items. > > **Cons**: That our users had to register separately for the site in order to bid. > > Overall, our experience with BiddingOwl.com was positive and met our needs for this particular event. ----- ### "Victoria Gardens" — 5.0/5 > **Laura** | *10 March 2026* | Fund-Raising | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: We are a group of long retired women and my old IT roll got me the job of running our silent auction. Implementing and using Bidding Owl was unbelievably easy and the software managed our auction process flawlessly. I would recommend this option for any organization or company without a second thought. > > **Cons**: Really dislike PayPal as an option, went with Stripe and worked out fine. PayPal has had data leaks too many times to count. > > Ease of use for both manager and bidders for a very low tech community was amazing. Additionally using QR codes on an item by item basis really helped. ----- Page: 1 / 7\ Next: [Next page](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/71815/biddingowl-com?page=2) ## Links - [View on SoftwareAdvice](https://www.softwareadvice.ie/software/71815/biddingowl-com) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | en | | | en-AU | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-NZ | | ----- ## Structured Data
