> For a Shopify brand, the hardest question a customer can ask is whether the product they received is the real thing. TrueTag answers it unit by unit. Each item you sell is assigned its own serial number and printed QR code. A customer scans it with any phone camera and lands on a verification page that confirms the item is authentic, identifies the product and shows the warranty that applies to that specific unit, with its end date. Customers do not need an app or an account, and no personal information is ever shown on the page. Merchants can have serials issued automatically from Shopify orders or create batches by hand, then print labels on ordinary paper or adhesive label sheets at no extra cost on any plan. The dashboard lets you search any unit and its scan history, collect warranty registrations, review scans of codes you never issued and export records. A free plan covers 50 units a month, and paid plans raise the allowance, add your own branding and, on Pro, an API.

All billing goes through your Shopify invoice, and you can cancel any time and keep your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for.
