> Selfdesk is coworking management software for independent spaces, from village offices and associations to hotels with a few desks. It suits operators who want members to handle sign-up, bookings and door access themselves, and who manage the space alongside other work.

Members use one app (iOS, Android or browser) to choose a plan and sign their contract, book desks and meeting rooms in a 15-minute grid, also as recurring bookings, open the door through a Nuki smart lock and see what the month costs so far. Day guests buy a day ticket or book a room without an account and pay by card.

Operators work in the same app: approve contracts or let them start automatically, see who is in today, check door openings and run billing once a month. Invoices are collected by SEPA direct debit or card via Stripe, or paid by bank transfer, and sync to Lexware Office; a monthly export bundles all documents for the tax adviser. Plans can include days, credits, ten-day passes and add-ons such as a locker.

Not included yet: locks other than Nuki, DATEV, hourly desk prices, one contract across several locations.

Built and used by Ausguck GmbH in Kiel, Germany, in its own 16-desk space. Servers in Germany. Price: 30 € net per month per space plus 3 € per active monthly plan and 1 € per guest day; the first 45 days are free.
