Housecall Pro has an amazing customer service team and there is always someone to respond to questions. I thoroughly appreciated that part of the experience with the app as it transpired to my understanding of how things work within it!
Pros
HouseCallPro is a wonderful product for the blue collar service industry. I love the way that you can process payments easily through the app. Everything is very user friendly after a little bit of practice and it really helps keeps all my clients data organized.
Cons
The only thing I had trouble with was the monthly costs for what I needed for my business personally. I am not saying it is not a good deal, it just had a bit more bells and whistles than I needed as a one man operation. I can see how if you have more than 2 employees how it can keep everything very organized when it comes to planning and setting up daily routes.

Housecall Pro is not for the Tech Industry
I was completely disappointed with them and stopped using them after they charged us for leads that where not relevant to our services and that when contacted would not pan out as leads ready to book and pay for services. TO many leads where cold or deceptive leads.
Pros
I did not find any pros with it. At least nothing that I couldn't get from some other service.
Cons
I did not like anything about house call pro. They made it to difficult to properly present my cumpany and services to potential customers. At the time they did not have good keywords nor categories for IT Services. Their pricing and cost per lead was deceptive and many of the provided leads where junk and they still charged us hundreds of dollars for them even when they did not pan out.

Overall, I love the software. It is constantly being upgraded, which is why we've stuck with it even when we felt there were other options better suited for our needs. This has proven to be a great move for us because they have added features that have greatly improved the software over the years.
Pros
Very user friendly, encompasses a lot of different tools into one platform and consistently adding more features to it at least quarterly. It is also very affordable compared to other similar software options.
Cons
Sometimes it would be nice to customize it a little more for our needs. Also, would like a better routing option (it is currently being built up better).

Great for owner operators
good experience at the level my business was at during the current time.

It was very customer friendly. It made us look professional.
Cons
It was not specifically good helping us quote moves and didn't have furniture listed. On the dumpster rental side, it didn't allow for inventory to be checked in and out by the driver.

Great tool for the trades
Overall my experience with Housecall pro was very positive, it helped maintain efficiency in the company I worked for at the time and it was a great tool to utilize.

It was very simple and easy to use. The layout of the app was easy to educate employees on and was easy to integrate into daily use!

It would sometimes glitch out, as to when you would attempt to open a job page it would restart the app.

Housecall Pro is the best for service contractors
Pros
The appointment reminders and automatic communication with clients ensured we kept clear and consistent communication during the jobs. I loved that when a tech was heading to the next job, they could click on the button saying they are on their way to the job and it would automatically send a text to the client with the updated ETA.
Cons
The automatic invoice reminders caused some issues for our clients. We did work with real estate transactions that would get paid once the house went to closing. The agents I worked with got a lot of reminder emails and it was difficult to configure the settings around automatic invoice reminders.

Houscall Pro is one of the top scheduling software options out there!
Pros
Housecall Pro is great for being able to see the whole schedule and be able to dispatch jobs with no issues. I also enjoy the invoice feature that allows you to be able to take payment via the software.
Cons
When you are booking a job on Housecall Pro it does take a bit longer with multiple pages.

Absolutely unfriendly, unprofessional and unreasonable company!
They blocked a credit card payment options for my account for the reason that my customer(foreign citizen) paid by his own foreign credit card my invoice which sent with Housecall Pro provided form. After they said- you have a chance for review after 6 months. After 6 months I’ll been using another app.

Great software for the in-home service industry
It was critical in the insulation estimation / worker dispatch aspect of the business. We use it constantly from the initial customer contact all the way to a google rating request after payment has been collected.
Pros
Housecall Pro is very easy to use and set up. Most of the functionality can be done with a mobile phone. Very customizable and well designed.
Cons
Some more complicated functionality must be done on a regular computer, and the schedule can get convoluted and quite hard to read

Do Not Use
They over charge and dont notify you about leads and still charge you even if you don't accept. Customer service was horrible as well.

Something to consider
I initially really liked the product but as I started using the app and features I noticed that a lot of options that my business needed were just not available. I would suggest making different options available based on the type of business.

The app is very easy to use. It is quite intuitive and makes tasks easier to manage.
Cons
This app is geared toward businesses that are in a specific niche. Like Handyman services and the like but for my business it was not a good fit.

Beware
Unpleasantly surprised by House Call Pro. After following their procedures and canceling my service, I was shocked to find an unexpected charge of $406 on my account two months later. It's crucial for businesses to maintain transparency and uphold their end of the bargain. Unfortunately, House Call Pro fell short in this regard. There are plenty of other companies to choose from, and I’d advise prospective customers to think twice before opting for House Call Pro. Mismanagement of financial matters is a red flag. Beware.

The definitive solution to manage my service business efficiently.
It is very good the online reservation function has been very convenient, since my clients can schedule appointments directly from my website and it is very easy to do so.
Pros
I like this platform because with just a few clicks, I can schedule appointments, send reminders to my clients, generate invoices and receive payments.

One of the areas where I think they can improve is the customization of the forms and templates. Although there is a good selection available, I would like more customization options.

It has all the best features for a home service business in one and it also has access to the Housecall consumer booking app.
Pros
It has good features like Job Scheduling with a GPS tracking system, payment processing, automated receipts and invoice etc.
Cons
There is no chance to use HCP to create contacts that are legally binding.

Compared to other applications, this is really the best application.
After moving recently, I updated my business address in my profile a couple of months ago. However, during this update, some profane words were mistakenly entered into the license box and saved. Consequently, every PDF invoice sent to customers now displays these profane words at the bottom. HCP informed me they cannot determine the exact date of the change or provide copies of emails sent to customers during that period. This complicates how I can manage disclosure to affected customers, especially since not all of them check the PDFs. It's baffling that HCP lacks email history retrieval capability; this raises concerns about using Twilio in the future. While I take responsibility for the profanity's origin, it was HCP's system that propagated it to customer emails, potentially exposing them to legal liability. If a customer does view the PDF, I will promptly provide them with HCP's contact details."

HCP is shifting focus towards marketing, moving away from serving professional clients to targeting warranty companies.
There's no efficient way to search for jobs and clients using keywords on the main page, a feature that's commonplace on Google platforms.
My main grievance: Emails sent to clients are done through HCP without providing the pros with copies of what's been sent. This lack of traceability compliance means jobs can be edited post-client billing, with no way for our office to confirm what clients have received, as HCP can't retrieve it beyond 7 days

Terrible experience
It's my decision if I want to use your product and you haven't respected it. If you spent half the time and money chasing clients into making a better product maybe I would have stayed.

It was okay software, not great. It sort of worked but seemed expensive for What you got
Cons
After declining to keep the free trial they took over a week to cancel so I got charged. Complained that I gave them over a week to cancel and they refunded me but because I'm not in the USA it was less $10 because exchange rate movement. Since I've canceled they have phoned me multiple times each time I ask them to stop calling me and they don't respect it and call back.

Credit Card Disputes Won but money being withheld

At this point nothing. I do not like any company or person withholding money that belongs to me.

After winning credit card disputes Housecall Pro took it upon themselves to withhold depositing my funds which total over 4,000 dollars. They are withholding my money and could would not provide a reason when I started recording the call. They told me to contact there legal department. Funny thing is the record all calls. Best to find a company that actually wants you to succeed.

Was ok but now is a mess.
went from good to Ok to just been a mess. they get your deposit and keep the money for few daysto play with your money and 2 weeks later you get your payment when customer pay them same day.customer service the worse in the country,Mobile devices are not good with this application because you don't get full menu.super complicated to invoice when you try to collect a deposit and them copy that estimate to a job the deposit won't transfer and that create a mess, and yes it never accurate with QuickBooks. always gives errors. price gone way up and now is not worthy. all customer service now is a bot.

Use to be good, never great, but some how for a small business help.

worse customer service ever. plus a mess now,after 3 years I give up trying to synchronize my QuickBooks. since they open new office in Colorado this turn to a mess.it is impossible to talk to a real person if you are a customer already.only talk to a real person if you trying to sing on with them.

Overall the program is great for construction workers. It can use a few tweaks and I think this program could be perfect.
Pros
The constant flow of information from scheduling the customer to closing the job.
Cons
That my technicians try to attach pictures in the app and it is a hit or miss situation.

Housecall pro for cleaning company
Very positive as the app did the best with setting up house calls to be able to get the house cleaned inside and out
Pros
The software is very easy to use and it allows that's to customize each order specifically to the house is going to

Sales team doesn't do what they proposed.
Pros
I used to work with Housecall Pro before, decent product.
Cons
3 moths ago I received a marketing call from Housecall Pro to go through their demo session in exchange of Amazon card. Spent my time, never received what was offered, already received 5 more calls trying to sell me again. That's the worst start of any relations possible and they never tried to fix that.

Pros
Scheduling appointments, billing and invoicing, and payment processing are done easily and comfortably from my phone.
Cons

great option for an all in one product
an awesome product that fits most needs with little downsides.
Pros
scheduling jobs in a customizable way tailored to our specific needs and adding attachments that help know more about a job when its being completed from when it was sold.
Cons
it does not have inventory management. we have to use another app for this and there isnt anything that integrates in with housecall.
