Works if you need something that hold more than 600 equipment pieces with variations
It is okay, could be better but the final product looks prestige.
Pros
Fast loading speed even though we have hundreds of equipment. Ability to hide equipment and reuse the equipment/site year over year without have to input the data again.
Cons
That you have to use one of their templates and you honestly need to know some code to get it done. I had to have our website specialist to get this up and running smoothly. Inputting the equipment is super time consuming if it does not fall under their two upload options and their team can only help with so much.

Highly flexible, intuitive and customer friendly
This is a solid platform that is fairly easy to learn. The UX is mostly intuitive and the value is impressive. I have a robust business and have yet to need tech support for anything. I do wish they didn’t make you pay for bundling or promo code issuance and management though. It’s a big price difference to go to Premium for these two features that I feel should be standard. Again this is an excellent product and I am very happy.
Pros
Booqable allows me to manage the availability of my entire mix of equipment including buffer time between rental periods, periods during the week, month, or year I want to block an item from being rented, and when I want to block bookings when I am away on vacation. It has a lot of flexibility built into the back end so I can customize bookings, automate or manually send documents and a payment link, etc. It integrates pretty smoothly with my front end website hosting platform, and has been pretty glitch free. The price is fair and has been a big reason I haven’t looked anywhere else—Booqable has a lot of value built into its core offering. Again, it’s very flexible and inter-compatible with enough advanced tools that I cannot see why you’d need anything more.
Cons
Booqable can be slow with loading inventory information or processing certain commands like file downloads or checking-ins. It has gotten better lately though. The app is limited in its abilities to make or complete payment related processes.

Best Rental Store with Outstanding Customer Support
Pros
The platform is extremely user friendly on the customer side and back end. The fact that you can integrate Booqable into word press allows the for a complete customizable website and the best rental store that I have found. On top of all that, the customer service for support, [sensitive content hidden], in particular went above and beyond, answering every question and showing me how to work and operate the rental store to enhance the customer experience.

I can honestly say that there is nothing I don't like about Booqable. I think any company that is in the rental industry should use booqable as their rental store.

So far I like using it. I may need to upgrade to Pro for access to barcode labels.

I like the inventory portion when adding items. I also like the website embeds option and how the back page of the website can be edited on the software without having to do it thru the website. That is a great feature
Cons
The contact portion is not filled in the blanks. Would be nice to have the customer's info and project details auto-populate into a contract. Even have contract templates that can edited for our own company.

Excellent software for order management, web orders and simple online site.
Overall we love it. It's made us so much more revenue than what we anticipated. A combination of webshop orders and paid ad traffic through google is a must in our industry. Booqable makes this easy.
Pros
What I loved about it is that you don't need to be a web developer to be able to create a good functional website. Yes it lacks several bells and whistles of one but as a starter website and a business with less than 2 years I believe is excellent and it does the job.
I love that we are able to create quotes on web browsers or it's application. Easy to create them.
I love that it is so easy to create new items, their quantities, prices etc. As a growing party rental business this is important for us as we are expanding.
What we love the most, is the automatic web shop orders. Being able to receive online orders has become the number 1 reason why we are able to get 3x more orders, without doing a thing (just the initial web setup.)
Cons
Not being able to easily send quotes through the mobile app.
Not being able to receive tips through the payment portal.
Web design can improved. They need to allow the users to embed videos or images.
Embedding Booqable's calendar to your mobile device calendar is not that great. It does not allow items to be edited so that's a bummer.

Likes and Dislikes Of Booqable
Overall it has been a good experience, but I do wish they had a few extra features and my bugs would get fixed. I like the price and features it has though. It does make like easier for a running a rental business.

Price, ease of use adding products and processing orders. Lots of great features as well and helpful customer service when you need help.
Cons
Discounts:
Need more rules for coupons like start/end date, spending a certain amount of money, not being able to use more than one coupon code at a time and how many times a coupon code can be used.
Dynamic delivery:
Being able to make a delivery fee mandatory or charging more for certain distance.
Minimum order amount:
Need to be able to set a minimum order amount before people can check out.
Slow/ phoneless customer service:
Though they are helpful when you have questions, it takes entirely too long to get help. Sometimes you wait 12+ hrs for help and no help on the weekends.
Powered by Booqable:
Having to pay for the most expensive package to be able to remove this from the cart is something I don't like. You should be able to remove it with any package.
Coding bug fixes:
Right now I have two big issues I have been dealing with for over a week that still haven't been fixed that makes my site not look right. 1. My checkout page and pay page aren't fitting correct on mobile devices and 2. The continue to payment button shows over my terms and conditions pop up. I waiting for the programmers to fix this, but it's been over a week.

Best choice ever!
It is really great, the customer service is top notch and it is very clear what has been rented and when and what the order status is.
Pros
It is super easy and clear to use, customers can place bookings via the site themselves and you can never rent out without having any stock.
Cons
I like everything, but if I really have to say something, it is that I want to adjust the site a little more and that customers can choose other languages on the website because my customers speak different languages.

A solid rental platform for a short-term rental business.
Booquable's low monthly price and support made them a great temporary solution for our company while we learned the ropes of online rental platforms. We knew we would invest in creating a custom rental website in the future, but needed a solution fast. and got a custom site together. Overall I found the Booquable team helpful and enthusiastic and willing to find creative solutions as long as the basic framework of their system supported a workaround. Where it didn't, I looked at how I could adjust our process to make it fit.
Pros
Booquable is relatively easy to set up and doesn't require building a website from scratch to have a unique shop presence.
Cons
Booquable is clearly modeled on a short-term rental business model. As long as you are taking full payment upfront for a simple fee, this site is a breeze. That said, it has some quirks when attempting long-term monthly contracts. The pricing display requires a workaround you'll need the Booquable team for. Most unusual is the need to express your first (or first and last) months rental payment as a percentage of the total contract. Making this match up to the round number you advertised the monthly rental rate at is nearly impossible. To top it off, there is no ability to set up automatic recurring payments. This means your staff gets to manually process every rental payment on the agreed-upon monthly date, and just put that in their calendars somewhere, I guess. As I say, if you do short-term rentals, none of these issues come up.

Love it! We look professional, we can manage our business, never over booking, the calendar syncs with our Google calendars so we can see at a glance what is up next. We are not bogged down with a system that requires a full time admin person to run it, its quick and easy. Its focusd on cloent orders and managing inventory ( in and out) and nothing else

The system is geared for customer pickup, we deliver 95% of our orders, delivery fees are based on distance. We do not allow clients to book direct through an online platform because most of our inventory is delivery only, i wish there was a way to set up delivery with the system, it would save us a lot of back and forth with emails

So far, Booqable has been pretty easy to use and understand for myself and customers. If I am not able to figure something out, I can usually just look up my question under the help section and find my answer quickly.

I like that Booqable allows our company to have an overall different website image than all the other party event rental businesses out there. Our website and booking process is very unique and allows us to not fall into the "cheesy" event party rental systems category, but yet still be easy to navigate.

Money Making Asset App
When i fisrt opened the account i thought was going to be a long extensive learning curve instead it ia very intuitive, instructions are clear and in combination with the videos. I could add all my inventory with all their details in a few hours. I love the web integration as well for my website. Works like intended. The fact that also has its own showcase website is fenomenal. You can actually design it. Let you use stripe as a payment service. And the final part i like is that keeps track of all my inventory activities, bookings, payments, customers and more. I like it very much. Thanks!

Great software for your business
My overall experience has been good. I have looked into other software programs and they either were way too difficult to set up or offered less options and charged a lot more.

Since I am just starting in business, I like the fact that it's affordable and that I can do a majority of the things I need to do on the first-tier/least expensive package

There are a lot of extra steps to get everything working correctly. I find that I am learning something new or updating something every week to help my booking site work better.

Booqable is the best platform I could find at the moment for rental products at the market.
Very intuitive platform, enabling independent service. Possibility to track status and history for each product separately. Great rental calendar and a system connected to it in the background, booking reserved products.
Last but not least - Great support team!!! :)
Cons
There are still many possibilities for the development of the platform. A milestone would be to build an integration mechanism that would allow simple connection via API with payment providers other than Stripe and with courier companies.

Great rental software to start your business with
I am working with booqable since 2 years now and I am overall quite happy with the software. Generally speaking the software works and the customer support is quick in helping out when there is an issue. When you are in need of an easy to use Software to start your rental business with I can highly recommend Booqable. You get a lot of rental Software for an interesting price. Also, they are working on improvements continually and are updating the product regularly.
Pros
Booqable comes with an easy to use App, which I can use at my rental. Since I am running a rental operation without a physical store this feature is essential. Also, the booqable API gives plenty of options to automize operations.
Cons
The software is standardized and in use for many different rental scenarios. So, some nice to have features for bike rentals are lacking compared to other software companies specialized on said industry.

Booqable is useless. They have minimal features and always promise to work on "adding more". If you want a booking app that is anything above the bare bones, look elsewhere. Coupon codes? Can't get them unless you're on their unfairly priced Pro Plan. Customization options for your rentals? Good luck. The kicker is that they enforce their extremely strict no-refund policy even when they have made errors. They unfairly charged me for an extra location (I'm a tiny business just starting out...definitely not more than one location) and will not budge on the $300 dollars they owe me for that. I switched to using IZY Rent through Shopify and I am MUCH happier with my experience. I wish I didn't have to learn the hard way and lose $600. It might not seem like a lot, but when you're running a small business, it's everything.

I have a motorcycle rental business in Japan. I wanted to differentiate my business against existing motorcycle rental businesses by giving customers online visibility of the availability dates of rental motorcycles and tour packages, and then to only collect an online reservation fee payment to guarantee the reservation. I save time manually managing inventory and emailing prospects. My customer feel assured that they can reserve the specific rental item on the specific rental days they want. At a glance, it just makes sense. The interface is easy to understand and navigate. Which in turn makes training staff to use it also very easy.
The online booking integration adds a professional touch to the website and is easy to use.
I love the automatic and integrated email templates. Another very professional touch to the customers experience. I send thank you emails with a google review link and it has boosted SEO enormously
Organizing inventory is comprehensive and thorough.
The development team is responsive to suggestions.
Customer service is really amazing! They have answered a million emails from me over the years and I appreciate the team at Booqable, especially as a green business owner.
Cons
I found the locations feature to lack in many ways. The 'locations' in the software were not very separate and having all the inventory and all reservations for both shops appear each day was very confusing. Separate log-ins and interfaces would have made much more sense for us, as inventory is not shared across our locations. The work around was to pay for a second account and build them unique to each shop, which is annoying but worth it for us.
I dislike that there is not a maintenance feature. Being a bike shop, inventory goes down and I have to make pretend reservations or remove items from inventory. Having some kind of maintenance feature could be really useful our mechanics to track items in repair, share notes and timelines. Luckily we are not performing repairs at this time. If we were also a bike repair shop, we would likely have to go with a different platform.

Overall very good experience. Their customer support is very responsive, their pricing is fair, they have the features we need.

It seems to mostly expect you to rent out products by the hour, and we do it by half day blocks, so we've had to do some workarounds to set it up the way we want, and some aspects are still a little clunky on the backend and front end as a result.

Pros
Booqable made it possible for us to launch our rental service in a very cost-efficient manner. It would not have been possible without them. Their system is very robust for the base functionaliteit of a rental system: booking, reservation and asset tracking over time. The website builder is very intuitive and you can really get great and professional results without getting into the technicalities. Also the existing links with external apps work very well. I'm particulary happy about the flexible payment and invoicing options provided by booqable and the collaboration with Stripe.
Cons
While Booqable has proven to provide great value and support for launching our rental company, it's just not quite flexible enough in some regards. For example: delivery options are very limited, it's not possible to set article (or variant) specific rental periods, pop-ups for marketing actions or mailing list subscription is not possible when using the booqable website builder, neither is a chatbot. All not really business-critical, but would be nice to have.

Booqable has been an amazing platform for my camping gear rental business. It easily tracks inventory, sales, and requests seamlessly. Their customer support is also excellent - they've been able to answer or solve any problem I've had with the system within a day or two at the most.

It is very easy to navigate scheduling as a customer through our website. As the admin using the back end of the software, I find it to be pretty user friendly. It does take time to get the hang of all of the features, but I think I am well on my way to being able to maximize all of them. I REALLY appreciate being able to get customer support quickly.
Cons
One thing I notice on the customer end, if you select a date range and an item is unavailable, if you close the page and then open it again, at least on my desktop, it seems to save that date range and then pop up as “Unavailable”. It doesn’t reset so the customer initially sees “Available”.
I also wish I could set different pick up times for different items. We have 3 saunas and as far as I know, I can only pick 1 time for all 3 units. I may need to ask support about this.
I wish it was a little more clear with the safety deposits being returned. I want to be CERTAIN my guest receives that deposit back once I submit the approval. I find myself having to search for confirmation that that has happened.
Our town has different tax amounts based on where you are providing service. It would be super handy if the system could recognize an address as either In City Limits or Out of City limits so I could charge the according tax amounts. Right now, I either over charge people or under charge people.

Booqable is very user friendly and I have been able to navigate the setup mostly on my own, however when I did have questions their support team was very knowledgeable and quick to respond.
Cons
the pricing setup was a little more involved than I was hoping. I wanted a daily, weekly, and monthly rate. instead of putting in only 3 numbers and having it automatically calculate based on number of days, weeks, or months, I had to put in a full 30 days and change the pricing for each day to get what I was looking for. If I ever have a customer that wants a rental more than 30 days, I will need to get in and make adjustments since it wont calculate correctly on its own.

I use it for my inventory. I use it to gather information about my products. I set up an entire website with Booqable’s tools. Customer service is lightning fast, price is unbelievable. I would recommend it.
Cons
Difficulties to upload videos online or fully customize my website.
It seems hard to add down payments and deposits at the same times on my e-shop. And when searching through your inventory it would be great to see the prices and quantities and some statistics at the same time, on the first page without having to click on each product.

It's not for everyone.
Frustrating. I've now put three companies online with Booqable within a year. The price is always the matching factor for start-ups. Booqable doesn't offer alot in terms of features. THIS IS NOT FOR A BUSINESS WHO PERFORMS SALES AND RENTALS. This product should only be considered for rental businesses only. My first company was rental and small sales for accessories and it was a nightmare. Booqable sells it's features that include sales and the product is very much not sales set-up.

The Booqable features included emphasis that sales were offered with their product and no limitations. When we got into it, with my previous company, it turned out that they couldn't perform simple sales transactions. We were very upset about this.
The website templates are pretty restricted, and don't offer alot of flexibility with design layout. If you're super picky on design, I would say this may not be a good fit for you.
There's so many basic features that just make sense that they don't have and when you ask for the item to be added asap, they simply say "We'll add it to our list, thanks."
This product is for very basic users. If you want functionality that may be above and beyond, this is not for you.
We set up using one of the templates. At no point did anyone state that you couldn't add photos or videos to the particular template. Built our whole website and then found out we couldn't add video. Now migrating to another site.

It has been excellent so far. As is, Booqable fulfills the needs I have at an affordable price. If I have any questions, the staff answers them with kindness. I haven't had a question go unanswered either. I am excited about any new features that will come up in the future. I hope this company does well!

I liked their pricing, ease of use, and functionality. I also appreciate their staff, they are personable and quite knowledgeable. If I have a suggestion for a feature they will pass it along to their team. I had trouble setting some things up and they sent a video of themselves going through a tutorial for me.
Cons
At first, I found some of the functions confusing but with some time and assistance, I understood them. An example is that they don't have categories, they have "Collections".
I wanted to make a subcategory and I couldn't figure out how to do it. I asked a question and was told that they don't have that feature for their website builder but there is a workaround for it. They said that in the future, the function for a subcategory is something they may add/ or are going to add. The workaround, however, does work! I was able to create a subcategory with their suggestion.

Before using Booqable, we used to have to handle our inventory management, booking/contract details and invoicing all manually. We spent a lot of time going back-and-forth with clients. Honestly, the customer service is exceptional and expedient. The site is easy to set up, and though I did not use it, the offered 30-minute setup sessions for $100 bucks (I believe for 4 total) seem like a real value as well. The few things I needed help with were quickly answered via chat and email, and the mass of tutorial videos is a great asset as well.
The site is very customizable and our business really enjoys that we can match it at a very high detail level to our eCommerce website.
I can't stress enough how intuitive the Booqable team has made their project. We are new to using this platform, so knock on wood, our high expectations will be fulfilled (they have been across the board so far). Our team is excited for an upgrade from a past platform and loves the control we have over our product.
