Its pretty good but had many small flaws that are very fixable, then it would be perfect.
Its pretty good and could easily be the best thing out there but it needs a bunch of little tweaks to get there.

Its affordable and gets the job done adequatly.
Cons
Its very buggy. At least the repeating payments and invoice entries seems to have been fixed. However the scheduler is confusing because you cant assign tasks to different technicians or change the color for appointments so it is very difficult to use. The invoice tempkates became very difficult to edit when they used to be easy. I need to be able to add regular fees, before taxes and they need to be totled by my choice not "other" no one is happy seeing "other" on an invoice. There needs to be a way to add a customer paid fee to the pay online option. I dont need to sacrifice $100 so a cuatomer can put their $2000 bill on a credit card. I need to be able to pass that cost on to the consumer. Also when Im in invoices and I ipen one and go back to the list, it should take me to where I was not back to invoice #1 every time.

I would say it has small glitches sometimes and with certain items fixed like sending email invoices, saving maintenance labor cost better, customer could approve/deny from their end would make it a great system.

These guys really stand out
My overall experience has been ok. However, I think the team is great, and believe they are working their butts off to make the best product possible for those of us in the industry. So far I believe, with everything considered, they are well ahead of their competition in many ways. Especially when you consider what you get for your money. Premium software at a great price!
Pros
Easy, friendly, quick communication with the team, valuable updates to the software regularly, product is very easy on the eyes. The team actually takes takes feedback and works to figure things out to grow their product. And it’s not a bunch of nameless faceless peons who seem to be detached leadership. I feel like a real team is behind this from the top down.

The calendar they have to offer is functional, but I wish there were more to it to make it work better for me. And offered integrations with other calendars.

ARI use report
I use ARI mostly for work orders to track repairs done to a truck fleet. The reports i need to generate for an audit works awesome with all dates and miles as well as repair details all on the report for DOT audits

What i like least about ARI is editing the work orders needing to go to the top right corner and find what i want to edit. These should be small radio buttons right on the work order

Simply the best.
When I was searching for a program to run my auto shop this one is the best. I installed/downloaded 5. Super easy to use, had all the features I needed, and more. I was up and running in less then half an hour. The ability to give my customers accurate quotes and turn the quote into the work order/invoice saved me so much time. And being able to put the VIN in fills in all the rest of the information on the car right then. I love it. And if you use a different system you should check this one out. I bet you switch programs after one day.

Gets the job done.
Overall, the program has worked for our business, and we have had no major issues.

The appearance of the invoices and how I have the ability to change the way they look for each individual customer.
Cons
I do not like the new format. The detailed view is much easier to use, but it doesn't allow me to set it that way and it stay. I am having to click that option every time I input a new job or new part. Also, the tax reports do not transfer to Excel the way they should. The program will randomly double line items.

Excellent! From customer service to product to updates that seem to be constantly moving toward better and better, this program is amazing!
Pros
The very best part of ARI is their customer service! Any time we have had an issue or needed more information, we are able to message or email them, and they always respond back within 24 hours (time zone difference)

We use it between 3 devices, and sometimes it takes it a while to sync the device something was changed on to the other 2 devices.

I love it. I could not do auto repair without it and customers are impressed with how professional it makes everything look.

I love the ease of use ARI provides, it is simple to track customers and write up invoices. They integrate parts tech which is new to me but a wonderful add on. But the biggest key thing that keeps me an ARI user for life is the customer servjce they provide. Customer service is very prompt and they always respond and actually listen and make changes. I lersonally have had things changed that i suggested to there team amd to ny amazement it was there on the next update.

The old interface i lreffered much mlre to this new one they have but i am sure with time they will work out the kinks. Everyone apparently wanted a new interface i was one of the few that liked the old one a lot.

FANTASTIC! I recommend this to all shop owners. Customer service is great and all the 3rd party added functionality is seamless and useful. This comes in at a fraction of the cost of other competitors, but I feel like it performs better and does more. Having a dedicated mobile app is a game changer.

Functionality and price are a clear winner here! No other software does what ARI does on a tablet or mobile device, and no other software does as much in this price range. ARI does it all: invoicing, estimates, labor rates, parts procurement, financing, book keeping, payments, reminders, scheduling, and so much more! The fact that there is an app and there is seamless integration across all devices as well as web based computer access, make it perfect to manage your shop from any where. Great Value, Actually Saves Me Money.
Pros
Efficiently keeping track of ordered parts for customer repairs is crucial to make money. Since switching to ARI my profits have increased.
Cons
Could be less simple, I like the ease of use but my previous shop used LightSpeed which had way more options and data points. More Data Points and shop statistics would be nice. A Video series for tips and tricks would be cool, maybe I'm missing a lot of hidden features.

It does what it says
I like that overall is simple to use, it does the trick and it is cheaper than other software programs, more than enough for a small shop like mine.

I like that is cheaper than other apps that are $300 + monthly
Cons
Customer support takes a long time, or what I need is not answered, monthly reports can not be printed and are confusing. You have to continue saving every page that can be annoying or you lose everything.

I love that I can add all the information I need for each customer's vehicles (& hulls) and go back to that information later! I really enjoy how the Job Cards are set up so I can select a customer & then select whichever vehicle is in for work at the time then add parts & labor in separate sections. I also love that I can integrate the app with QuickBooks!

My only complaint is that I have to add a year to be able to save a vehicle/hull's information to a customer; sometimes with certain boats & the work that we do it is not necessary to have the year or customers often do not know the year of their boat.

Switched from Tekmetric
So far, so good. We downsized our shop and no longer need such a robust (expensive) shop management software. We do not use Mitchell, but ALLDATA and that’s the only thing we miss from Tekmetric is pulling labor times over.
Pros
I love the scheduling, the parts tech integration, and the messaging functionality.
Cons
The UI is a little clunky, but we are coming off of Tekmetric

The system does take some getting used too but then again what system doesn't, the part I like the most is the ease of seeing what's been paid and what hasn't been paid, also having the added feature to add client notes and service reminders to accounts

The "clunkyness" of the software, while these are minor they are holding this system back from becoming a high volume shop software, works great with less than 10 employees or by yourself as a shop management
